Panera is always a hit or miss situation for me. Today I ordered an Asian salad and smokehouse barbecue sandwich. Sandwich was good but I noticed that they have skimped on the ingredients lately. The salad was missing almonds too. I'm surprised that they don't have mandarin oranges as a topping like most Asian salad. Service was quick but the place had a lot of tables that were not cleaned.

I've always liked Panera and the cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich used to be one of my go-tos. It was big, fresh, and flavorful, definitely worth the price. Unfortunately, this time it was a huge letdown. The sandwich was noticeably smaller, the bread felt skimpy, and the taste just wasn't there. For $10, it really didn't feel like the same quality I've had before. I couldn't even finish it because it was so bad. On the positive side, the broccoli cheddar soup was excellent as always. Rich, comforting, and consistent. I just wish the sandwich still lived up to what it used to be.

We had an unpleasant experience today. We were served a plate with a sandwich on it--only to discover a hair in the food. I spoke to the kitchen staff, and they readily prepared a fresh chicken and cranberry sandwich for me--just as delicious as the first one--but the incident still put a bit of a damper on my mood. And now for the question: ‍ Why don't food service employees wear hairnets to prevent hair from getting into the food?!

$4.39 for this little brownie. Absolutely ridiculous. Your online photos are very misleading. You should have these set in front so people can see what they look like before buying. I could buy a whole box of brownies for less than this. Can you put a little more oomph into the brownie.

I dropped off my new car at the auto shop nearby and had time to grab lunch before my rental car pickup. I haven't been to Panera in years because of subpar service and food at other locations. This place was on point in all aspects. The restaurant is open, modern, and casual. The cashier was very friendly and helpful. It was a busy Tuesday around noon so there was a bit of a wait. But it was well worth it. My Southwest salad with grilled chicken was fresh and perfect especially with the avocados and dressing. My sourdough bread was superb with my broccoli and cheese soup although I'm not sure if you legitimately call it soup. Highly recommend!

Panera is always a solid option for lunch! This particular location is a bit small and the parking lot is very crowded, but otherwise I'm always impressed by the service here. They always seem to go above and beyond! I had a coupon for half off entree so I decided to get a You Pick Two lunch and try out some new items. The cheesesteak sandwich was saucy, and I liked that I was able to switch the type of bread for no charge. I also tried their new bacon mac & cheese. It was just as good as the regular one. I always find it funny that you get a baguette on the side even when there's no soup, but I'm not complaining. The Pick Two option is always my favorite because I get to try two items and it's not a super huge portion. Had to pair it with my favorite drink here - the papaya green tea. So yummy!

Can't get a hold of their cafe! Called the cooperate but wasn't helpful at all

This location is a scam! Happened today 10/15/2025. They stated my food was delivered but it was never delivered! My coworker didnt have lunch today. We were gonna celebrate an event today. This was why I ordered food in advance. Ordered on 10/13/2025. I even added tip on the order. I can't get a hold of anyone at the cafe to explain this! They deserve a 0 star! But I don't have the option to place ZERO star here I need a manager to contact me to explain this situation!! Order #6051715996746736 See the picture! TOTALLY A SCAM!!

Looks like I'm missing half my salad. This Panera has been a disappointment ......Please do better.

The food is below average, and it's so sad because I love Panera but this specific location gets my orders wrong 100% of the time. Or the quality isn't there. My salad bowl is half full.. I ordered a grilled cheese once that was so hard and burnt I could've used it as a weapon... please do better, remember your making food for people. Sprinkle a little love on it.

Panera!!!! I love you!!!!! Okay what's better then a classic meal from Panera? You know it's going to be bomb! Today I got the you pick two.. French onion soup with the half Fuji chicken salad! Soooooo delicious! The soup was perfect as it always is! The Fuji chicken salad was amazing... perfect amount of flavor. The staff inside Panera are all so sweet. Can we also remember the best bread ever?!!

This had been a big reason I hadn't stopped in before... parking can be hard downtown but I've learned it's worth a walk even if you have to park a few street over. I was told the green Thai tea ($6) here is delicious so we both eagerly ordered one to enjoy during the meal. They were served in larger carafes and it's so satisfying to stir before taking your first sip. Definitely a great portion for the price. We wanted to explore the menu so we ordered a variety of items to share, knowing we'd be taking home leftovers. We ordered the Green Curry ($17), Lao Pho ($18), Pas See Ew ($17), and pineapple fried rice ($19). It was truly a feast. All the dishes had a generous portion size and our server made sure we had extra bowls and plates to share the pho and other dishes. My personal favorites were the pad see ew and Lao pho, the noodles in the pad see ew were delicious and I always like eating this as fresh as possible so the noodles are steaming hot. The pho broth had great flavor and I loved that this Lao version had tomatoes in it. The meat in the pho was also delicious. The pineapple fried rice is a customer favorite, but didn't blow me away. I tend to like savory and spicy more than sweet and savory, so this could by why. The Green Curry was a bit too thin for my preferences, I like a thick curry. It was tasty though and I'm glad I gave it a try. I would definitely stop in again to try more of the menu, and when we stopped in the Lao sausage was sold out, so I'd definitely order it next time if they have it.

No one even checked on us at all! We would have left but we had to pay upfront before we found out we had to be the waitress. Food wasn't even worth it (papaya was bland, pad Thai was average). Update: owner replied to this post. Everything that she stated wasn't true at all. I asked why we have to bring all the stuff in and she insisted that it's customary in Sacramento-- she did NOT asked us at all or did we asked, the owner said it immediately when we got seated that we HAD to bring it in. Yes I was upset AFTER we were told to bring the plates and everything in; we just came back from a vacation so we were in a good mood). Please don't make it seem that you were innocent as you also keep mentioning that is how things are in Sacramento and asked where I was even from. Also, we would've been more understanding if we didn't give us an attitude from the start and told us to get our own plate and bring it back in. A word of advice: please hire more staff since that would give some politeness to ALL customers. If you were so busy, how would you even have the time to explain why you wanted us to do waitress work. Please, you straight up and said we have to pick up our our plate of foods WITHOUT any of the understaff part. Again, owner keep trying to make a costumer experience in the wrong since honest review will hurt her business. Never in my Yelp reviews owner is so against a bad review --this just verifies how the owner is very defensive and keeps justifying without taking accountability of what actually happened (like how we even know she was working alone since we're outside). Also, please don't make any assumptions, they're not my husband or daughter (we never mentioned this and how inaccurate the owner perspective is). Further customers, please be aware when you leave bad reviews, expect the owner to persist that you're in the wrong (like she did with other previous bad reviews).

I searched on Google and found this place…read more It's a cute little restaurant with lights of windows giving lots of nature light which I love so much. I went on a weekday around lunch time so I was empty and quiet... Love it. Since I was meeting my friend, it's nice to have the place to ourselves. Food/drinks: Thai Tea: love it! I like that they didn't put it in a regular cup. Crispy Pork Belly: it was okay. I was craving for crispy Pork Belly. I am use to the traditional crispy pork belly. This one is drenched in a sweet sauce which I know most people will like; however, I am just not a big fan of sweet pork. My friend love it though. Basil Ground/minced chicken: We enjoyed this dish. However, the same thing for me, it was a bit sweet for my taste. Gyoza: it was pretty good Service: the male server, was welcoming making our visit a better one. I definitely need to come back to try other food since there are so many good food options.

Pipo Ramen and Rice…read more I've been wanting to try Pipo Ramen and Rice since 2023, when it was ranked #11 on Yelp's list of places to eat in the Sacramento area. I've driven past this spot countless times but somehow never made it in, until now! I stopped by on a Saturday before noon, and the restaurant was pretty quiet, with only a few tables occupied. The interior is modern, clean, and well kept, making it a nice spot for a casual meal. After looking over the menu, we decided on the Pad Thai with Shrimp (medium heat) and Panang Curry with Chicken (medium heat). While ordering, our server also recommended the Pipo Salad, essentially their take on papaya salad. They offer it Lao or Thai style, and we went with the Thai style with mild heat. Once the food came out, the first thing I noticed was the portion sizes, everything was much bigger than I expected, especially considering the reasonable prices. These are definitely portions that are easy to share family-style. The Pipo Salad had tons of flavor, and I really enjoyed being able to taste the vinegar and fish sauce. One thing to note, though: I ordered it mild, but this ended up being the spiciest dish on the table! I'd say the heat was closer to a medium, while the Pad Thai and curry were much milder. The Pad Thai was solid. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the flavor was there. The Panang Curry was good, although I personally wished both the Pad Thai and curry had a little more heat. Luckily, our server brought out some condiments, including Thai pepper fish sauce, which was excellent with the curry and gave it the extra kick I was looking for. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Pipo Ramen and Rice a try. The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and there's a good variety of dishes I'm looking forward to exploring on my next visit. My only real complaint is that the spice levels seem a little inconsistent. I wanted my Pad Thai and curry to be spicier, but at the same time, I didn't want my mouth completely on fire. Hopefully I can find that perfect balance next time! Would I come back? Absolutely. I've still got plenty of the menu to work my way through!
