Food is nice for lunch, but don't expect to sit here very long and do some work. They rather have you take your food and go somewhere else, especially during lunch time (11:30 to 2) when the Wifi is limited to 30 minutes. Luckily we have 3G wireless hot spots these days, but that policy does not make you feel very welcome. Also, toilets are fairly nasty. read more

I came here because I had a Panera gift card from my birthday. The food is good. I had the turkey avocado BLT. Everything was fresh, including the irregular pieces of turkey meat meaning it came from a real turkey (and not a loaf of meat). The sourdough bread was good but a bit chewy at the crust. I even like their kettle cooked potato chips (in a bag)... very crunchy! The only thing is they're a bit slow here. Unlike other Paneras, you don't always get the food brought to you -- often you have to get the food from the counter yourself. Most things are obviously not made in house when it comes to pastries. They are mostly consistent. Sometimes a little dry with the pastries. The coffee is fairly good. Lots of flavor. Older menu soups are still consistently good. Newer soups are a miss like the broth bowls. Soup is lacking the spice and is priced higher than a focused restaurant with a similarly concept. Sandwiches are cooked right. Toasty for those warm sandwiches. Staff is friendly. Sometimes inefficient with banter back and forth. Mostly quick otherwise. Good: old menu soups and sandwiches. Not to mention their amazing Iced Green Tea 'Yum' the flavor is so refreshing taste like a piece of fresh fruit on a hot day... I wish I had taken a picture but I was too irritated to even think about it. Ordered the half sandwich half salad and 1st off holy cow everything is so small and expensive!! Sandwich weighed next to nothing but reason why was when I opened it all the onions and meat where in the same spot with 80% of the bread having nothing on it and when I tried to spread the meat out I still did not have enough to cover my bread and I paid $6 something for that?? Chinese chicken salad had 5 half inch pieces of chicken and a half small size container of dressing which was another 6+dollars. My salad is dry and has nothing but lettuce in it. What I had was bland (bread tasted good) and so so so skimpy!!! First time visiting Panera and I don't think I will be back. I come here maybe twice a month for lunch from work. I usually do rapid pickup and I think the food is good quality and pretty tasty. They are a bit overpriced and more often than not when I get my half sandwich-usually paired with a soup or a salad-it's messily made. The bread is super tiny and its always falling apart. I obviously return because I love the flavor but I'll have to take a picture next time I get it. All in all, its good food, makes me feel like I'm making the healthier choice. read more

I placed an order for next day delivery for a morning meeting, coffee tote, bagels, not huge or complicated. Around 8:30 pm I get a call saying they have to cancel the order- they are too busy. Thinking it's a delivery schedule problem, I say "Fine, I'll just pick it up." The snottiest customer service person replies "No. We are not filling this order at all. We.Are.Bu-sy." Not understanding the problem, or the hostility, I asked "Huh? I can't order at all?" She says "No. No Delivery. No Pick-up." Seriously, rude as could be. I get restaurants can be over booked and understaffed, but don't be rude to the people trying to give you money! I don't post because of one bad employee or one experience but this is the third time we've had a problem with group order at this location. And since this location is so overwhelmed, our office will just take our regular business elsewhere. read more

I love Panera Bread but this location has failed me so many times. I kept giving it a try here because it's conveniently close to where I live. But after my last experience, I won't be back. My sandwich was a joke. They prepare the food in a sloppy way, and are stingy with the to go orders. Other Panera locations always add butter packets with the bread, extra napkins, etc. This place always disappoints me. Maybe there aren't enough employees and so they rush when making the food or maybe they're just lazy I don't know. The woman on the phone who took my order didn't even read back my order to me. I love stopping here when headed out towards Woodland. The seating is spacious, adequate parking, good for having a group meeting. Everything on the menu is great here. The Broccoli Cheddar soup, the chocolate chip cookies and cinnamon buns are exceptional. The Sandwiches are a bit sparse for the price, but you can't have everything. This Panera is a good place to make a pit stop for a few hours if you're passing through Natomas. read more

I placed a catering order for a meeting that we had today. I ordered 8 sandwiches but realized after the driver left that there were only 7 in the box. I immediately called them to let know of the error. I can't remember who I spoke to but she was very nice and apologized for the mistake. She told me that she would get someone to bring it back out to me but she didn't know when as all of her drivers were already out delivering. When they delivered the missing sandwich, they also delivered 2 bags of chips, and 2 cookies. I've always liked Panera's menu, their selection of soups, creativity of the sandwiches and salads but the reason I'm rating them now is because of how happy I've been with their Rapid Pick-Up option at this location specifically. Order online or by mobile, and your order is ready exactly when you want, already paid for, just walk in and pick up from the shelf. Awesome convenient. And they always have my order exactly right. And since I tend to order soups, having my order done on time is important, the soup is always hot with plenty of bread on the side. Excellent lunch. Other locations (specifically Stockton on Trinity Pkwy aren't as good with their Rapid Pick-Up and to-go orders) but this location in Natomas has been spot on every time for me. read more

I noticed a lot of mixed reviews about this place but I love the Panera on North Freeway. The food is great! My soup is always steaming, the bread is always fresh, and the staff is always polite. (Oh, and to whomever complains about the bread being too hard-- hello! It's a baguette! It's supposed to be!) I think the only *slightly* bad experience (which was resolved quickly) was when I came in to order a dozen bagels. I have been here several times on my way to Kings games, and the last 3 times they have screwed up the same dish, every time! My friend is deathly allergic to walnuts, so we asked for no walnuts, please... The salad comes with nuts. We send it back. It comes back with little bits of it on the bottom, clearly they just took the walnuts off the top. I call the manager over, she finally gets it, without asking she comps the salad and has it done right. The next 2 times the same thing happened! When the order came out and I tried to ask why it wasn't what I ordered, they gave me attitude at the pick up area and basically told me it was my fault. Debbie is extremely friendly and although our order is customized, she does a great job at preparing our power sandwich quickly. Love the options at Panera Bread. We were in the area. This Panera Bread is located in the Target shopping center. Near all the food places in that center. Lots of parking available. They have great food options. We love the selections they offer for sandwiches. We ordered a Frontego Chicken Pannini, Smoked Turkey and Swiss sandwich, and a pasta with Alfredo Sauce. It is almost like a cafeteria style: order your meal and when it is ready your buzzer will sound for you to pick up at the counter. Everything comes out nice & hot. I love Panera. This is the worst one to got to, its bad for any restaurant. Shouldn't have the Panera name on it. I go to Panera on del paso all the time probably 4 or 5 times a week. They rock. The Panera on Freeway is closer to my house so I have tried it three times. 1st ordered oatmeal. the same one i order almost every morning at the other spot. First they gave me a fork for oatmeal, that was kinda funny until i opened the oatmeal and it was ice cold. Disgusting. Didn't have time to go back so I called and. they said sorry. 2nd time. I ordered a bowl of soup with a bread bowl. got home opened the bag, got a bowl of soup and a big lump of bread. I guess this location doesn't make the bowl when you oder a bowl. Called got a lot of excuses no apology. 3rd time. today I tried to get the oatmeal again. I felt the bag and it was warm so i felt in the clear. Got home pulled it out and they gave me some kind of oatmeal soup,(should of taken a pic) mostly water, so gross. This time i took it back I have had it with this place. I will never go back because the manager couldn't care less when I was trying to tell her the problems i have had at her location.She wouldn't even look at me. She couldn't get my refund In my hand and me out the door fast enough. So unprofessional. No care for the customer or any care that there was a complaint.
