Ordered an ice coffee through the rapid pickup system. Stated that it should be done at 4:06, at 4:15 order was finally ready(20 minutes from when order was placed) . One coffee. That's it yet there were meals that needed to be out by 4:25 that where done way before mine. When I asked about my coffee, the girl that seemed to be manager handed it to me and said I still needed to put my own sugar in it(?) and when I asked her why, she was snarky. Omg! Knew it was a terrible idea to visit, but I had to go. My mom had surgery nearby. Her first meal had to be soft. She wanted soup from Panera. I parked in a ten minute spot...should've been a clue that I'd be way over ten minutes. Inside had a line of about 5 people. Not bad. Woman at the register looked bored and she was dealing with a customer who only cared about herself. Took that woman a good ten minutes to order because she asked a thousand questions and had to leave the line to find her son to order a pastry. Omg! I order. Soup and bread. Let's go! Waited another ten minutes to get the soup and get out the door. Jenn was amazing! She was the only light in that place. She served dishes and called out orders and had the best attitude. I've been to a couple of Panera breads but this one is alright. My friend and I both got 'half and half' meals, so I got a tortellini Alfredo with French onion soup and my friend got the Mac and cheese with bacon and the cheddar broccoli soup. I enjoyed my meal because it was quite empty and quiet, it was also easy to find a spot to sit. My pasta and soup definitely filled me up. My friend didn't enjoy his Mac and cheese as much because it was underwhelming and wished it had more flavor. The cheddar soup was good though. He enjoyed that and his baguette. I would give this place ZERO stars if I could. Let me just start off as I'm a very patient person, giving that, I ordered thru curbside pick up and it said it would be ready @8:46am. I pulled up around 8:40am and waited there until 9:05am and still no one came out with my order. So I decided to go to the drive thru (thinking maybe they were busy) and I told them I placed a mobile order and when they gave it to me, my bagel was already cold and my drink was already melted. I also noticed there were all females inside just laughing and chitchatting away instead of doing their fucking job. I wanted to tell the cashier I would like a refund and speak with a manager but I knew I would just blow up and it would turn into a whole mess all for an over priced bagel/ latte that was nasty ass fuck. Went in a little over an hour before closing and ordered soup and bagels at the kiosk. Noticed that most of the bagels had been cleared out of the case and were sitting in a big trash bag on the floor by the soda machine. Figured if they threw out the bagels already they'd just tell me and offer an alternative or a refund, but nope. The Panera employee proceeded to rummage through the bag of bagels on the floor to find the exact ones I wanted and then take them to the back, then all of the sudden my order was ready. Of course I'm not gonna throw a fit in the store during a pandemic, but that is far from sanitary or acceptable. Obviously I did not eat the bagels and will not be returning to this restaurant. This one was 3 stars but since the "new and improved" move a few doors down, I am not impressed. It is freezing cold all the time, you can feel the air blasting in some seats. Not enough booths. The drink station is right in front, so if there is a line to order food, it blocks access to the drinks. What a terrible floor plan. Food service kinda slow. Mainly though, I go there during off-peak times for wifi for my homework. I probably spend at least 25% of my time waiting for pages to load (both recent visits, both between peak times). Older location was much better. It was a nice change from a Starbucks night, but I never have a problem with their wifi. Panera in Victorville also never gives me issues. read more

The food is good but the customer service is consistently lousy. I purchase small catering orders twice a week and have been for several months. Every time I am there they act like they have never seen me before. There is no warm welcome let alone remembering my name. On several occasions I had to produce a receipt to prove I ordered online because they insisted no order had been placed. People who order catering online must wait in the regular line to pick up the orders while those who order through the regular website get to use rapid pick up. Horrible experience! I worked at Panera for five years and I knew more than the employees knew here at this location. Forgot asiago Parmesan cheese on my tortellini alfredo pasta plus forgot to change the type of chicken to citrus peppered chicken instead of the smoked pulled chicken. Then after I had it exchanged, they forgot the cheese on top of my tortellini alfredo AGAIN. Also ordered the pick two and got the frontega chicken panini and a cup of bistro French onion. The panini was BURNT on the bottom.. and the French onion was unbelievably SWEET. Normally French onion is a salty soup, but because it's "bistro" it's extremely sweet with no salt to it. The Croutons were bland and had no cheese flavor the way they are supposed to. Cashier couldn't answer any question about what an item had in it, she had to look in the Panera pamphlet to find the answers to my simple questions including what comes on the tomato mozzarella. Try to avoid lunch hours, might take a while to receive your food. Restrooms available for customers there's a code. Had a very poor experience here today. Any one of these experiences would be understandable but all together they are unacceptable. 1. Ordered Frontega Chicken panini and only after paying and waiting for the food were we told they were out of the chicken 2. My husband ordered a bowl of French Onion soup and they gave us a cup. 3. The cup of French onion soup was missing the cheese and croutons that are supposed to be on it. It was just broth and onions. 4. We thought we would just mention it to our server when he came back to ask how everything was as is customary, but he never came back. 5. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic so they are a bit short staffed but they treated me so politely. I saw one review here where the person is upset at a 30 minute time limit on FREE wireless and a 3 hour - 3 HOUR! time limit on parking. Indeed - when DID Panera Bread become the supplier of study / work environment for Loma Linda and other students? I do like Panera's food and coffee but this location has been over run with too many people taking advantage of the corporate good will. Really - a cup of water, a laptop, one person at at 4 person table - during the lunch rush? I only eat here when It is necessary - and believe me "necessary" is becoming a rare thing with this location. I've been coming here regularly since it opened. Why? Because their coffee has no bitterness like Starbucks does. Also, they call me by name almost every time I walk in. This location of Panera seems like they hate students. Limited 3 hour parking during the day in the lot, 30 min. wi-fi limit during 11:30 am-2:30 pm, and a fairly loud environment (esp. during business hours). Electrical outlets are available, but only in certain areas. I used to study here a lot, but over the years, it's just getting too limited. But damn they have good baked egg souffle's and bagels. Sandwiches are decent of course, and so are the salads. One of my favs is the mac and cheese and the chicken salad sandwich. For that, I'll return once in awhile. Expect to pay between $8-10 for a meal. Tried their new steak and egg bagel sandwich. Disappointing. The steak was more like slices of roast beef and lacked flavor. The default bagel it comes on is a poppyseed. I suggest getting it with a jalapeno cheddar or everything bagel to elevate the flavor. Coffee and mochas here suck. Too much pre-mix powder and sugar. The manager or whatever shitty position he carries he also carries it in his attitude. It never showed up. I had to call corporate and tell them we were forgotten. They delivered it the next day with an apology and a coffee cake as an apology. 2) I had the honor of receiving employee of the quarter for my office and corporate ordered lunch to be delivered. Delivery person shows up without half of our order and says - oh well, i have other orders to delivery.. bye I have drive over to Panera to pick up my own appreciation lunch. The manager spent 10 minutes arguing with me about who's fault it was. And then points me to our order which has been sitting for almost an hour! No way was I taking that food. So I asked them to remake it which took another 20 minutes. Seriously. The order was still wrong and I had to wait 5 more minutes for them to fix it. Stopped by to have soup & salad friday 12/14/18 evening and the place was a mess. I requested the young lady working the floor if she could please wipe off the table for us and seemed to me that we were interrupting her social time but that's not the best part of the story. I walked up to the counter to grab the plates the young lady behind the counter said "we will bring it to your table". So as we wait the pair start to socialize leaving the food on the counter for 10 minutes to get cold. I guess the employee taught me a lesson for requesting her to wipe off the table. I don't know why panera bread's ratings have been in the dumpster lately...to be quite honest it's a crying shame! Cause everytime I go there I've only been disappointed maybe once, (and that's pretty normal for just a middle-class meal). However, I only happen to order the same thing usually. Plus, I'm a regular so maybe their getting to remember my face and the coins I throw in their cash register. I don't know... But the black bean soup in a bowl, or even the bread bowl for the matter will make you salvate before you even get it. And...in addition, I like to order their tomato-mozzarella panini my sister introduced me too. Granted, it's gotta be done right. But what a great combination in your mouth. Also, because I'm such a huge soup fan, and since I love tomato's, you should add tomato soup to your list to try as well. Definetely a killer recipe with buttered crutons to boot!! I ordered to go. I arrived and everything was normal this was until I looked at our sandwiches at home. I ordered the Sierra turkey and the cran flat bread chicken sandwich for me love. the sierras meat tasted a bit off but i ate it. the CRAN FLATBREAD had 3 small pieces of chicken and looked as dilapidated as Los Angeles ghettos. We ate because we were hungry not for enjoyment. we arrived to the mac and cheese,(i like to dip me soft side dinner roll). This is the first Panera Bread that I've ordered lunch from (I've only done bagel runs before). The sandwich was pretty good--better than chain sandwich restaurants, but the soup was luke warm and salty. Food came out fast. The bagels and breads are pretty good. Not gourmet by any measure, but better than what you'd find at the grocery stores (even the pretentious ones). read more
