Needed a spot with strong WiFi for hubby's Zoom call & initially thought of Starbies. When we realized Panera's next door- we chose Panera. In my opinion, I prefer Panera over Starbies ANY chance we get. We were able to order our (breakfast) Egg Sandwiches at the counter, although there's order touch screens as soon as you walk thru the main door. I noticed the lunch menu was displayed and hubby and I were a bit confused. We waited for the cashier to finish with the customers ahead of us. Their menu boards are not digital, but actual post boards. When I asked the cashier about a breakfast menu (because I'm a sucka for their soups!) & pointed to the lunch menu displayed above- she laughed and was very apologetic. She reassured us there's a breakfast menu (soups are served by 9:30am). She used a broom handle to turn the lunch menu around for the breakfast menu. My go to, if bagels are involved, are Asiago! Can never go wrong with the Asiago/folded egg/ sausage patty sandwich. I washed it down with an iced 16oz Crème Brûlée latte. With almond milk, whipped cream, & crunchy bits sprinkled. The dining area is huge. With many seating options. Wooden four tops, cushioned booths, two tops, and an outdoor patio with some tables having umbrellas. Clean inside and counter pick up. Restrooms are clean, and I like how the toilets are pushed away from the doors, that way if people are waiting in line for a toilet, there's no awkwardness if ya'll can see another thru those wide gaps. Food: The food here always comes out hot and fresh. I like how the fruits aren't soggy as well. I love their combos as well. Husband's breakfast sandwich bread was brunt. Son's breakfast sandwich, bacon was burnt. I hate when fast food restuarant or any food place assume just because you place a pickup or a drive thru order they can mess up. Come on....if you see something burnt make a new one. We spent all that money and it was something we could not even eat. . They tried but the burnt part overpowered every ingredient in the sandwich. Horrible horrible horrible.. Ordering from this location continues to be absolute garbage. I've been to other Panera Bread locations and I at least get what I pay for. Ordered and paid for a half sandwich with extra protein (chicken) and also a half salad with extra chicken. What I got was half of a half portion of a sandwich and barely a trace of chicken. Also the extra protein for salad was not included which I also paid for. These orders were through the app so I took my food and brought to the manager at the store. While at the store I showed the manager my receipt to verify the food I paid for. There was an immediate disagreement what half a sandwich size is. I showed her what was delivered which she said was correct. I showed her advertisement pictures from Panera site showing that the sandwich given was half of a half which she stated was correct. After clearly pointing out the difference there was an impasse so I left. Didn't realize this location opened in December 2021. Currently (in Oct. 2022) there's some scaffolding outside, but don't let that fool you. The restaurant is open for indoor dining :) When you walk in there's plenty of kiosks to order contactless, otherwise you can order at the register (far right). Overall, I thought the service was great. When I walked in, no one was a the register but one of employees in the dining area greeted me and said she'd be right over. If you order at the register, you won't be given a pager, so you'll have to pick up your order around the corner. I was happy to see there were a lot of seats and charging stations for those who want to work there. As for food, I ordered a pick 2, and my side baguette was very fresh! Super chewy yet crispy on the outside. Probably the freshest baguette I've had at any Panera location! The only thing was for some reason my order was made to-go. I live in the immediate neighborhood and this is a nearly new Panera, so very nice, with ample seating, plenty of interior light, ans great self service options. The employees are friendly and helpful and they have gotten quite quick with the orders after starting off slowly which is to be expected when it was brand new. It's so nice you'd have no way of knowing this was previously an old tire sales and service shop! I'm a sip club member, which is a great deal, check that out if you're spending too much at Starbucks and can hack an iced coffee instead of a legitimate cold brew. P.s. why isn't the cold brew available on sip club! The reason for the missing star is the ice. It is thin and wet and your drink will be warm m8ch faster than at other Panera locations. This Panera Bread shop is located next to the Meineke auto shop that I visited during my car's oil change, etc. When I walked in, I felt, "This place is BIG!!" It is a very spacious Panera Bread outlet, very clean, and on this day, had excellent coffee! My time spent here was mostly in waiting for my car, which took an extensive period of time to complete. I ordered coffee and a pumpkin muffin and sat at the front of the shop while waiting. The muffin was awesome! I'd recommend this muffin to anyone likes pumpkin. I'm not sure I'll be back but I would do it again if I were in the area. The Meineke Auto shop next door is lucky to have both a Starbucks and this Panera Bread shop available to its customers. It makes waiting easy. Also, staff courtesy was impressive at this Panera shop. I have always appreciated the consistency of Panera Bread Co in that the store set up, product, and courtesy of the workers is generally pretty stellar overall. They can be a tad pricey, but to me it's because they sell a great product. I'll have to get back to one some time for soup and sandwich again! Stop in while you wait for your vehicle! This has happened to me multiple times. I always order delivery. I buy the 20z drinks, but end up getting the smaller size. I've sent messages to Guest Care and they help sometimes, however, what upsets me is that it keeps happening. It's not about rectifying my one order, but about making sure that employees pay attention to what they are putting up on the counter. The delivery drivers don't know which size is which, so I don't expect them to stand there and ask if they've been handed the right size when one expects the Panera employees to know what they're doing. I hope employees get better training in checking items before they serve/place for delivery. I just don't want to have to go through this yet again! I really enjoying Panera, but this is too much.
