Food: The food here always comes out hot and fresh. I like how the fruits aren't soggy as well. I love their combos as well. Service: There isn't a lot of interaction because there are kiosks you can order from and they just call for your name when your order is ready! It's just how it works around here. Ambiance: There's busier days and calmer days. People come to chit chat or even come to do work and study.

    More burnt part of sandwich

Husband's breakfast sandwich bread was brunt. Son's breakfast sandwich, bacon was burnt. I hate when fast food restuarant or any food place assume just because you place a pickup or a drive thru order they can mess up. Come on....if you see something burnt make a new one. We spent all that money and it was something we could not even eat. . They tried but the burnt part overpowered every ingredient in the sandwich. If we lived close by I would have brought it back for a new one. Horrible. This panera bread location is not where we will be ordering again. Want penera bread? Go to the Eastlake location. People there actually do care or better yet...dine in so you can immediately complain and request for an unburnt sandwich.

Why did they just THROW my bread in there like that ? food was great. I ain't trynna be rude or picky but A LITTLE BAGGY for the bread and at LEAST one butter would've made it look like they gave a little bit of a F***.

Switched from Starbucks to Panera to join the endless sip club and save money. Great membership to have if you work remote or are a student. The staff here at the dennery location is so friendly and the service is always quick. I like how spacious it inside with most of the tables having plug in outlets. My go to place recently. On days I'm in a hurry a grab a drink in the drive through, because why not. It's endless drinks! Papaya Green Tea is refreshing but not too sweet.

Didn't realize this location opened in December 2021. Currently (in Oct. 2022) there's some scaffolding outside, but don't let that fool you. The restaurant is open for indoor dining :) When you walk in there's plenty of kiosks to order contactless, otherwise you can order at the register (far right). Overall, I thought the service was great. When I walked in, no one was a the register but one of employees in the dining area greeted me and said she'd be right over. If you order at the register, you won't be given a pager, so you'll have to pick up your order around the corner. I was happy to see there were a lot of seats and charging stations for those who want to work there. As for food, I ordered a pick 2, and my side baguette was very fresh! Super chewy yet crispy on the outside. Probably the freshest baguette I've had at any Panera location! The only thing was for some reason my order was made to-go. Other than that, I'd definitely return.

Can really feel the love and attention they put into each of their orders... not. Horrible service and Panera is overpriced to the moon and back. Overhyped piece of marketing trash

We wanted to go through the drive-thru, but it says something like "comeback during regular business hours," even though it was 7:00 p.m., so we tried driving through to see if somebody could help at the window. I guess their headsets turned off, but Pedro was super sweet and apologetic at the window. We even got a free cookie for the inconvenience. He really went out of his way to make the moment right!!

The last time I visited this business, it was still called Los Pollos Rotisserie and Cuban Bakery…read more That shows you how long it has been because House of Cuban Flavor has been the name for more than a few years now under the same ownership. It's located in one of the middle suites between an auto parts store and a supermarket in an Otay strip mall of Chula Vista. Parking was plentiful as there were way more spaces in the lot than customers even at peak hours. There were a few tables placed on the sidewalk in front of the suite, but no seating was available inside. The coffee making station was to the right when you walked in. To the left of the service counter were glass displays containing the baked goods and desserts. Four small menu boards hung behind the counter. From left to right, the category on each board was Sandwiches, Cuban Specialties, Plates & Combos, and Bowls. Several trays in the display case were empty during my afternoon visit. The cashier ensured me that nothing was sold out. Items that were not displayed still could be ordered and made fresh by the kitchen. The Cuban Specialties were broken down further into Stuffed Potato Balls, Empanadas, and Pastries. Each offering cost $2.45 regardless of its composition. That was disappointing because I have encountered similar bakeries in which there were similar choices for less than $2 apiece. My order started with one of each of the potato balls (meat, spicy chicken, jalapeno & cheese) including a variety that wasn't listed (spicy pork). These were fried and then placed inside a cardboard takeout container. Each of the four had a slightly different color and/or texture to distinguish them from each other. The size was slightly smaller than a tennis ball. The meat filling was my favorite because it had the least heat as the other three contained noticeable spiciness. I also bought a meat empanada, a guava pastry, and a mango & cheese pastry. The pastry dough was light and flaky. The portion size was less impressive for $2.45. I recall when some of these were sold for one dollar less so the value has decreased over time. The fruit flavor of the guava and mango respectively was sweet but not over the top. For this recent experience at House of Cuban Flavor, I gave a 3.5 star rating.

I've been twice to the new location including its soft opening weekend. I would skip the somewhat overpriced spam musubi. It tasted good but it wasn't life-changing, which I sort of expected for the price. The couple times I went, I found the tables to be sticky so I'd watch out for that as well if you're dining in. The fruit sandos are good if that's your thing. I always find them to be too rich with all the cream and this place was no exception. I've tried all the savory sandos on the menu though, and they're solid. You really can't go wrong. The bobas are pretty good but don't compete with the elite boba shops like 3cat or momofuku. The corn hojicha is what I liked the most out of everything I've tried. Finally, service is average to above average. The person behind the register is usually a disinterested teenagers or 20-something employee but an older guy in the back, presumably a manager, tries hard to accommodate customer requests. So hats off to him.

Now the drinks and food: the drink I got last time was an iced mocha (no picture but I remember it was very good). This time I went with my mom and we both got the "Moon" drink.. a Chai/Matcha which was such a good drink, I want like a 40oz of it to take with me home for the week. I also ordered the pesto turkey sandwhich to share and I can not express how good this was. Perfectly crispy, juicy and fresh. Took the first bite and literally gasped because not only was the bread toasted to perfection but the veggies and turkey were so flavorful. The veggies and pesto and turkey were also layered in a way that made every bite delectable and that to me is art. Loved it, want more of it and I WILL be back to try more drinks and sandwhiches.

I actually brought one home for my husband to try as well, and without me even saying anything, he wasn't a fan of it either. I also have to say that when I first walked into the location, I didn't really feel a warm or welcoming vibe. I was hoping to have a better first experience, but unfortunately, between the drink and the overall experience, I don't think I'll be back. As I was walking in the owner of this deli confronted me telling me not to park there and I let him know I had just been dropped off and wouldn't be taking up any of his parking and he continued "the car, the car" so persistently I had to just about yell at him that she left and we weren't parked there. Mind you his establishment was completely empty at the time. Not that it would be an excuse if we did park there( which I would never do). Throughout my entire appointment I was thinking about how crazy he came at me and when I decided to mention it to the esthetician student doing my facial she mentioned she had ordered some tostilocos from him the day prior that came with apple on them (unusual) and that the cueritos on them were mushy and when she asked for her money back on them he had an attitude about it, which I believe given what I saw from him today.
