It looked great but halfway through my sandwich I noticed I just had a huge chunk of chicken and when I bit it was red. I also before the first bite had noticed that a chunk of my avocado was brown. Man behind the counter where the bagels are wasn't wearing a mask of any kind nor gloves. They didn't offer me my receipt and when asked they said I didn't ask for one so they didn't print one. A gentleman ahead of me got the bowl of sugar packets on the counter and put it at the coffee station. I did the same with the Splenda. Then, the man with no masks or gloves went to the back. An older lady followed him back out and rudely told me the packets of sugar and sweetener cannot be on the counter with the thermos of cream! It was all out this past Monday. The lady who made my coffees to go for work didn't have gloves or a mask on??? This is just plain stupid and insulting. Your employees don't take precautions, but we can't have disposable sugar packets available? Follow the law!! The Bossier location closed. This is basically fast food as their menu items come prepackaged and they just do a lot of thawing, heating, and assembling of heavily processed food with most people thinking they are getting freshly made healthy food. However, I do feel they have many items which are healthier options than places like McDonalds and Burger King. Also, due to pressure put on them and many other restaurant chains, Panera Bread has agreed to eliminate artificial colors, sweeteners, preservatives and flavors by 2016 from their menu items. So...I am rating them as a fast food place instead of rating them for being a fast food place. With Panera Bread opening up at 6am, many people have the opportunity to grab breakfast from there on their way to work provided they allow extra time for possible 15 - 20 minute waits. They provide a much wider array of menu items than other fast food places and in my opinion, much tastier options, although at a higher price as would be expected. From my many visits to this location, I find the restaurant consistently clean. The food I get is USUALLY done right with all items received and customized as ordered, and most importantly, very tastly for fast food. Most of the employees I have encountered have been very friendly and professional. The big exception is with the young cashiers. I don't understand why they are unable to hire better cashiers. They tend to be very indifferent with many being blatantly rude and the biggest issue I have had with them is when I have tried to redeem freebie items from their rewards program, which, as often as I go should be a lot of freebies. However, for whatever reason, they usually can not give them to me. Several times I have merely received indifferent shoulder shrugs and off-comments about the rewards thing being goofy and that this happens a lot and my receipt received will even list the reward as available when the cashier says it doesn't list it on her screen. I have long since given up on trying to earn or redeem their rewards lest they raise my blood pressure too much :-) but it is costing them a star. read more

Today, They charged me for something I didn't order. When I showed the receipt and explained what happened, I got a refund and a free pastry treat. At least they were nice about their mistakes. When we use apps to order ahead, we had to check twice to make sure the orders were right. Hope they don't make these mistakes anymore. It really takes up our time. read more

Awful service and outcome of meal in drive through. We went through the drive through tonight and I ordered a whole green goddess salad, extra dressing with a large green tea. We pull up to the window and Ashlyn our server says "y'all had a green goddess salad, half or whole?" We say "whole with extra dressing please." We pay and wait...for 5 minutes. Ashlyn then opens the window again and and says "here you go" and hands the bag over and quickly shuts the window at which point we get her attention to mention the drink..." oh okay" she then hands us a small drink, we mention it was supposed to be a large. She corrects this. Get home to find two half salads neither are the one we ordered. One is I assume greek and one is undefinable. The bread is hard as a rock and....surprise no dressing. I love Panera Bread's food. However, this particular location seems to be in need of working out some kinks. We have been twice...the first time we did drive through and half our order was missing. Luckily, I checked before driving off so they corrected it. But when I got home, the lettuce in my salad was in horrible condition. It was brown and wilted. Yuck! I've been here once and it didn't impress nor disappoint me. The food was decent, not excellent. I couldn't really taste the "freshness" of the bread and the flies were definitely a problem. The place was packed and you had to seat yourself so finding a table was impossible. I got a turkey panini which was pretty good, but the price was waaaaaay off for both the size and taste of the sandwich. And a side of kettle chips... their selection of sides is lacking. After 15 minutes of being on the phone, I decided to drive there. When I arrived, no one had still picked up the phone to place my order & I'd been holding for 30 minutes. I walked in to 2 cashiers, no wait for one. I let her know I'd been on hold for 30 minutes & she told me it's impossible to get someone over the phone during lunch time (mind you there's no line & they aren't that busy so why was I on hold for 30 minutes). She was nice, but the fact that I had to drive up there & place my order instead of just walking in, picking it up & leaving like planned was inconvenient. Food is ok. Panera Bread is something that I don't eat at home but will happily go to for the hormone free deli meats when I visit my parents. I found the Panera here to have quick service and good food. It's not anything particularly exciting in the culinary realm but it's nice and like I said, serves the kind of unprocessed meats that I like to put on my sandwich. Besides can you name any sandwich shops or bakeries around here that also have a drive-thru? I always grab a chocolate croissant for myself. It's like a Hershey Kiss wrapped in sweet bread. Yum! I have been here a few times, and usually my visit is through the drive through. The inside is nice, typical to that of other Paneras. I have visited here a few times to study since it is a nice atmosphere with light music and free wifi! I go here a lot for bagels. The bagels are fresh and always good! I have been to this location a couple times for lunch. I get the you-pick-two with broccoli and cheese soup and mac n cheese. The food is consistent to the paneras I've ate at in Florida. They have a good selection of foods and everything I have eaten here was tasty. The only thing that I dislike about paneras in general is that they are pricey for the amount of food and type of food they sell. I have eaten at this. Panera from the beginning. I been ordering the Steak and baby Arugula cost 9.19. For the past month. Last week went through drive thru. This is not a fast process. After receiving sandwich it was a half of a chicken salad I then had to get back in line. This took another 15 minutes. Not happy. Then today I ordered the same sandwich I noticed it was real small I opened in parking lot. All the sandwich had was nothing except about 1/10 of a piece of lunch meat small slice of tomato and nothing else. All the onions arugula were missing. There was not even one slice of meat on that sandwich. I then had to park and go inside. Took a refund and left. Also they claim they give you pickle and carrot with sandwich. Swung through the drive thru on an unseasonably chilly late April morning, and ordered up two Power breakfast sandwiches and a sausage and gouda souffle.The sandwich is made up of ham, white cheddar and egg on whole grain bread. If you've never had their iced green tea, then you surely are missing out. I've come here just for the beverage before as it's definitely a favorite: sweet and so perfect. Pandora has recently redeemed itself to me over recent years as I used to hate the place after learning there food is mostly pre-packaged stuff. However, after not having Pamela anymore for awhile and needing to drive an hour to get here, I realized how much I was missing. The toasty subs and veggie soups are a nice take on the usual fast food or sub places. It's a nice in-between where it's not too fast of a place but not a fancy sit-down either.
