It did not feel like a meal "I paid for" like when you eat out, you feel like you get something that you could not have prepared yourself. Ricky or Rick is among the worst Managers. Why? He's rude, his staff is slow (lazy), he communicates poorly, and bottom-line shouldn't be in that role because he sucks! I don't recommend this location because of staff that sit around chit-chatting and not delivering food to the guest table or even bother to call the guest to state, "food is ready" or use the device to buzz that food can be picked-up. This Metro-Detroit is proving to validate that it is as poorly skilled as is known all around this country. Easily the worst panera I've been to. Took 15 minutes to get a hot chocolate and there was only 1 person ahead of me. Lots of workers were just sitting around not working. Dirty tables, slow service, no one seems to care. The cashier was nice though. read more

The coffee here is one of their most under rated aspects. I have been here many times in the past and the service has always been great. They accept apple pay and have kiosk to the right of the line for those that choose to not humanly interact that day. I think this is a new location. It's a great place - clean and efficient. The downside is that it is right next to the highway entrance to 696 so it was a little tricky avoiding getting on the ramp to get on Telegraph. It seems like it's a new place and I really liked the table service. They bring your food and drinks to your table instead of you waiting near the end of the counter for your food. There is also a drive through. I was here from 10-12 in the morning and it wasn't crowded, plenty of space and the free wi-fi is helpful! read more

Nice restaurant. My wife ordered her potato soup in a bread bowl and it was under $6 after tax, and very filling. Bread was good, so was the soup. Front cashier was awkard, but after the order was placed it didn't matter. Restaurant was fairly clean for a rushhour timeframe, and delivery of food was very fast. Would come back again. read more

This Panera Bread is quick, easy, and the food taste great. This is the first drive-thru Panera bread I have seen in the metropolitan Detroit area. It is located right off of telegraph road, which is easily accessible while driving. The drive-thru was fast, accurate and pleasant. Great place to try. read more

I waited in the drive through for 10 minutes (no cars behind or ahead of me) for a cup of soup and a bowl of soup. When i got back to the office and opened the soups up i realized they did not put any croutons in the Bistro Onion soup and the bowl of Autumn Squash soup was filled up only half way (also no pumpkin seeds on top). So i payed almost 5$ for half a bowl of soup which is awesome. Anytime i ask for condiments or salt and pepper at the window the cashier has to go god knows where to get them because they always dissapear for about 3 minutes. My Panera in Canton is fantastic, however I work in Southfield and the drive-thru experience is not up to par. Staff seems to be uninterested in your order. You're kinda just another number to them. Food is good and the service inside is better. I'd stay away from the drive thru though. read more

Have not been to Panera in a while and I had a gift card so I stopped in. Got the 1/2 roasted chicken and carmelized kale panini. First, I was surprised at how small it was and how thin it was. I opened it up and there wasn't much on the inside either. The potato soup wasn't very good either and it was not hot, barely warm actually. Really disappointed as I was really hungry. read more

The staff is very kind and it is almost always clean. I come here on my lunch breaks often. It is very busy around 12 (lunch hour) however if you come in the evening it is practically empty. I would recommend this place, especially to college students who need a place to study at night. read more

The Panera has the worst service I've ever received. I go through the drive through about 3x per week and they never make my coffee correctly. When I ask for confirmation that they heard the instructions, I'm ignored. Too many times not getting what I ordered and paying good money. They've permanently lost my business. read more

I love Panera. Their food is great and I think it's a great price for what it is. However, I would not recommend ordering rapid pick up from this location. I have twice now, and both times it was wrong. Incidentally, both times the issue was that I didn't get my mixed berry parfait. The first time, I drove all the way back and they said "oh, we didn't have any strawberries." "Well, did you charge me for it?" "Yeah." The manager then says she can cut some fresh strawberries for me. Okay... why didn't you do that in the first place? The second time, they just didn't give it to me. I drove all the way back and all they had to do was grab it out of the fridge. There was more than one in there. I don't understand why I didn't get it initially. This particular time, by the time I drove all the way back and waited for them to fix my order, i didn't even have time to eat it before i had to go to work. So that was really annoying. Management needs to crack down. While I was waiting for my order the manager was walking around singing and joking while the employees were in the back joking and swearing. I could hear all of this. I ordered delivery and waited a little longer than the estimated delivery time. Not a huge deal. When I opened up the salad box that I had ordered I found a gross white string the definitely didn't belong. I am disappointed that I waited for delivery only to get a salad that is not edible. Ordered online at 9:30 to pick up my order by 10:30am, I'm driving from WSU and figured that was enough time. When ordering on line I choose the Pick two option. It states that soups are not available until after 10am. Thinking that the soup would be done by the time I went to pick up my order it was not. They said that the soup was not even close to being done. The salad they haven't even made yet and when I got it they gave me a little lettuce not parmesan cheese and i ordered double chicken and didn't even get that. Wish I had taken a picture of it. During the time I was waiting for them to finish my order. There was other people who came in after me and ordered their food and got theres before mine. I guess they were mad at me because I told them i ordered my food an hour ago. They made me wait an extra 40 minutes for my order for which i made online at 9:30am to be ready by 10:30am. There was this one guy who kept staring at me behind the counter giving me a mean look. This place has horrible customer service and I'm a very forgiving and patient person. But once you start giving me dirty mean looks, I won't stand for that. read more

How exciting, it's a Panera Bread with a drive-through right next to my office... I've come here three times now, and every time the service has been fast and the food has been fresh. The only downside is that it is almost impossible to find. For some reason, the signage is somewhat difficult to see because there are so many other, bigger signs around it, plus it's almost immediately before the 696 entrance. So every time I come here, I accidentally pass it, but that's okay it's a good place and I enjoy it. read more

Terrible. I ordered the Mediterranean Egg White Sandwich almost 2 months ago and they forgot the egg white. I called and talked to a manager, she indicated that they would send a voucher to replace it. 2 weeks later nothing, no voucher. I called again and got a different manager and he apologized and said that he would send another. It has been well over a month and still no voucher. I will never go back there again. It would be nice if the company did what they said they would do. I was in the drive thru so please always check your food before you leave! read more
