    Yummy pastry

It's okay, pastries are good. Salad and soups are okay as well. Service is not and has never been the best.

I only gave my husband one bite and the mussels were too die for! We came back 8 months later and the mussels are still on point the crab and corn fritters aren't fritters they aren't all bread. They're more like fried crab cake balls and the tartar sauce is superb! My husband this time got the scampi shrimp of course .he is not a pasta person. He absolutely loved it. My vodka parm was also very good. ( I never get anyone's because I make it every Christmas Eve for 40 people and mine to me is hard to beat) my husband is less bias and loves the parm. This place is a gem that needs more attention! Their drinks are spectacular also great wait staff and owner is super interactive!

Mai Tiki is in Stuart, right by the Colorado Avenue Park. It's a medium size outdoor restaurant,…read moreattached to the Old Colorado Inn. It features a large bar and many top tables. There is no AC, it feels like you are in an outdoor tropical garden with a Tiki. The menu is limited, farm to table approach. It offers several appetizers and a few entrees. Tropical cocktails. My sister and I once a month meet for lunch, usually go to the other restaurants in the downtown area. This was a Saturday. The restaurant was pretty empty. We decided to try it, since it was new. It's off season for Florida. I like that it's away from traffic and close to the river, but not on the river. We ordered several appetizers, Tuna stack, it was good with toast on the side. I would have preferred wonton chips or tortilla chips. We also had the crab fritters, these were delicious and plentiful for two people and the Burrata salad. We wanted the Brussels sprouts, but they were out so the chef prepared Bok Choi instead. Equally delicious. We ordered an infused cucumber refreshing cocktail. The service was very good. The owner stopped by our table, to ask how we liked it. He was gracious and told us his story how he bought the placed and design a menu along with the Chef. That was a plus. They also have music for dinner. Parking is street. The Tram goes around and it will leave you at this restaurant from the large parking lot. Please note there's a green market on Sunday's so the parking lot is usually full.

Today I stopped by the Stuart Florida Toojay's this time to try breakfast. I chose the pancakes platter which included two pancakes. (added the blueberries as an option) Scrambled eggs and link sausage dish. I also ordered my traditional breakfast tea with honey. Service: When I walked into the restaurant there was no one at the hostess counter. Since the sign stated to wait for the hostess be seated, I waited a few minutes before one of the cooks noticed me and told me to grab a table and he'd have someone come out as soon as possible. About five minutes later someone finally showed up. Not a great start. My server... let's just say was efficient. However, it would've been great if she served me with some type of a resemblance of a smile. The atmosphere Toojay's has a pretty nice atmosphere with booths, dark wood trim and an interesting eclectic mix of music that was low enough to speak with and hear your dining partner. The food. Of course the restaurant did not have steamed milk for my tea and had to hunt around for honey but eventually we got an acceptable serving of tea. The pancakes and scrambled eggs came out pretty quickly. However, they rested on one dish a fact that I hate as the syrup inevitably migrates to the eggs. Fortunately I had an extra small plate under my tea which I used to separate both. The eggs were okay and the pancakes were okay but, the link sausage were small and a bit undercooked. The bottom line: The bottom line or as I call it "the customer so" what, would I come back? Probably not. Not because it was terrible simply because it wasn't anything special or to be more precise, I would most definitely come back for the pastrami on Rye just not for the breakfast. I have been wanting to try COLAB forEVERRR and finally found the time!…read more Such a cool place, great vibe, clean AND farm to table. Also, every employee we encountered was so friendly! I will say, being cleaner food, some food was more bland, like my burger. I sort of wished it was like the kids burger at their sister restaurant (District Table), which it may be, but it wasn't as flavorful the day I had it. I also wish fries were an option. Since chips or a side salad didn't appeal to me, I upgraded to their potatoes, which I will say were delish! I was so excited to try their dry rubbed wings that were mentioned in many reviews, but they were no longer available, which ended up working out because their sticky wing replacement were AMAZING! My daughter (10) also really enjoyed her avocado toast which had a bunch of ingredients she's not usually fond of, but once incorporated with the dressing, she has now become a tomato fan! Instead of getting dessert at the table we decided to grab the Swiss roll cake in the market that we had seen on our walk in. If you like real buttercream, I highly recommend it! So yeah, I will definitely be back! I do wish they offered some type of brunch promo fun...maybe bottomless or pitchers of mimosa...?!
