They have a new sandwich (turkey, cheddar, apple something or other)...it's good as it is, but even better when they throw it on the panini grill. My first visit I dined in. Every plate we used was chipped. The food was good..no complaints there. There was an employee who was complaining quite loudly about how tired she was and stacking the dirty plates quiet loudly. Maybe that's where all the chips came from! My second visit was take out. The manager was at the register, quickly and friendly took my order...and I was back in the car within 15 minutes. I personally love Panera Bread especially this place during the morning. The environment is super cozy and pretty and service is fairly fast! I usually order a Baja mac and cheese (which, for the record, is SUPER good! The pico de gallo compliments the mac beautifully) but this time i tried a mediterranean grain bowl for breakfast. Super fresh tasting and delicious though it'd probably serve two people or three haha I recommend coming here! What matters is the service that I received and I am not happy with Panera bread on Armagosa Road after ordering I stood there watching the window for well over 35 minutes waiting for my order when I went up to the window to ask the young lady the status of my order the other young lady says oh it's over there. I told her no one call my name she says that they just put it over there. I said I don't care who put it over there. My best friend and I started frequenting the local Panera Bread in Victorville. As I was the one who used to frequent them up in Puget Sound, WA. The cashier / representative would not allow my friend to order a half ham sandwich. This restaurant will not work with their customers to order sandwiches the way they want it. My friend stormed out of the Panera Bread in Victorville and vowing never to return. I have never seen him mad like this. This restaurant chain will never be used by me or my friends or family ever again or in the future. From now on, a Franchise starting with the letter "S" will be frequented by us in the future. This Panera offers drive thru service. Interior was clean with effective air conditioning - important as it gets hot on that drive back from Sin City. After our eating excess in Vegas we opted for a healthier lunch here (usually we indulge at Freddy's next door) and our favorites are Apple Fuji Salad: the dressing is white balsamic apple dressing, salad is chock full of deliciousness: blue cheese, dried apple slices, chicken, walnuts. Best salad here. Turkey Bravo Sandwich: really lovely tomato bread, fresh turkey slices. A solid sandwich choice. I tried the new Chilled Shrimp & Soba salad. I enjoyed this different taste. There was plentiful chilled shrimp, which was butterflied (de-veined) over a bed of dressed fresh baby spinach leaves. In the same bowl, next to the salad was the soba. It was dressed in the same light peanut sauce, and while it is not exactly like cold soba, it was as refreshing. While I would recommend this dish if you want something new, it did not hit the same satisfaction as a regular cold soba dish. Do not go through the drive thru if you are in a hurry. We sat here for over 25 minutes just for bagels. The food is tasty the wait is not worth it. It's pricy for the food as well. It was my first time at Panera and let me tell you what an awful experience. Tried to get suggestions from cashier and other employee they didn't even know the menu at all. so we proceeded to get no drinks and when the food came out in a bread bowl it was super dry and 2 pieces of chicken Literally. My mother got the wild rice and not one grain of rice was in there either. There was still room to add more soup for all 3 bread bowls. I'm never the type to complain about food or give a review. But for this I really had the need to because it was embarrassing and awful. Finally made it to the new Panera by my house. Giving it a few months to get over the crowds I went here for a light dinner as options to do so are slim in the area to say the least. I had signed up for the Panera card online and they uploaded a free pastry on my next visit onto it, so i got that along with the asian chicken salad. I have been to Panera all over the US a handful of times and always gotten the same thing, that sesame ginger dressing gives me a serious craving every so often... Service was very sweet, I just had to give her my phone number and got to pick any pastry. I went for the sticky bun, and it was just as I remembered, stale. They always look better than they taste, I have tried several of their pastries over the years and they all seem to get shipped frozen and just thawed, because they all taste dense and stale. Oh well, the sandwiches (I've tried several from my husband) as well as the salads are always very fresh. The salad was packed nicely to go, and I was off in about 5 minutes, not bad!
