First of all, know that it truly pains me to write a negative review about a particular business but it feels like I am encouraging bad behavior and bad customer service if I won't divulged how such business operates based on my experience-- and that, to my judgment, is doing the consumers (the public) some kind of injustice by hiding from them of their right "to know" of which businesses to avoid in order to get their money's worth. So last Monday my daughter and I decided to go to this business to have our breakfast before I brought her to school. My daughter was in her regular school clothes while I, since it's my day off, was wearing only a plain white shirt, jeans and my adidas sandals. We were craving for the breakfast sandwiches but unfortunately the lady at the cashier, looking already frustrated and exasperated, told us in a rather monotonous and nonchalant tone: "Uhm...we don't have sandwiches today. We don't have eggs. Actually, we are quite low on a bunch of our supplies so most of the things on the menu are not available." So we moved to the side so the other customers behind us could make their orders while we decided what else we could get that's available. When we're done, we ordered a cookie, a cold drink, a jalapeño bagel and a coffee. Now it's time to pay. I handed the cashier a $100 bill. She stared at my daughter, then at me, then her eyes went up and down looking at us from head to feet and said: "You can pay with your card or with smaller bills." Politely we said that that's all the money we got. Then she gave us once again that scrutinizing look from head to feet and blurted: "I need to call the manager. I need the pen to check this." A long line was already growing behind us. Her actuation was totally insulting and humiliating since her stares and tone of voice not only made us feel very small--that we are being considered "suspicious" because we were not dressed impressively--but it's breaking our hearts too to realize that we are at that very moment being discriminated blatantly!!! Prior to us, a nicely dressed lady came and bought some bagels and cream cheese. Interestingly, she also paid with a $100 bill and the transaction went through without a glitch--without the manager ever needed or sought to provide a pen to check if the money were authentic or not. But when it's our turn, why is it different? So, I told the cashier: "You know that money is brand new. See that blue seal? That proves it's real." With an irked tone, she replied: "It doesn't matter, I still have to check it because it's a policy." To which I replied: "if that's so, how come you did not check the lady's money before us?" She left me while I was still speaking and called her manager named Ryan who looked for "the pen" but, minutes later, returned empty handed and opted to give us the change without checking our bill simply because he could already hear the customers grunting as to why they were giving us a hard time. Now, tell me, is this a kind of place worth your precious time and hard earned money where certain staff are unabashed to disrespect and discriminate "paying" customers? Your call. Honestly, this doesn't even deserve any star in my opinion. read more

I've been to location a couple of times. I don't believe it has a microwave for customers like the Brea one does. I order the buffalo chicken toasted French baguette and chocolate chip muffie. The baguette left a lot to be desired for the price it was like just eating bread. Panera bread is a safe option if you are looking for something quick. I ordered the Avocado Spinach sandwich which was good and fresh. I also order a blueberry muffin which was a little hard. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The ambiance is a fast food chain and is like any other restaurant with lots of tables. Would not recommend if you trying to host an event at the location. Was craving soup since I was eating a sandwich. Decided to get the chicken noodle soup @ Paneras since I had a sore throat and wanted something warm and nutritious. Ordered online and got the order pretty quickly (would recommend this as they prioritize your order!) which was nice. Upon opening it, I was completely shocked by how small the chicken noodle soup is. (See size comparison between a piece of the baguette and the soup itself). It reminded me of a small ice cream cup you get at Baskins Robbins. I was dumbfounded to believe that this was $7?! This was NOT worth my buck- there was very little chicken and noodles, mainly broth. It was hot which was nice but I finished this so quickly because it was tiny. Just disappointed by how the price and food quality doesn't add up here. If I had to come here again, I would try a drink/something else next time but because of this specific order, I'm rating it a low score. These had no flavor either. It was so dry and was void of any flavor. New drink addition to Panera's drink section! It's an energy drink that's powered by guarana and green coffee extracts. The Mango Yuzu Citrus tastes a lot like Yakult (a Japanese probiotic beverage) or Calpico and it's one of my favorite out of the 3. I've always had a good experience at this location, until today. And it only takes one bad experience to erase all the good ones in the past, sadly. I have no complaints about the food, but the service is what this store sorely lacks. Specifically, Bryan Delgadillo, the store manager. I purchased a $50 gift card two weeks ago bc they were running a promo (free $10 gift card with $50 gift card purchase). However, they ran out of the $10 cards so the cashier handed me the receipt and asked that I return in about a week to pick up that card. So, I returned today (two weeks after purchase) to pick up bagels and the $10 gift card that was owed to me. The cashier approached the manager for assistance and he said he would be back with the card. However, he returns to tell me the card has already been picked up bc there's no longer a record under my name. I immediately tell him that I have not been there since the initial purchase, at which point he says, "I can give you a card today, but next time---" I cut him off right there and say, "no, you know what, it's ok, keep the card," and I walked away upset AND embarrassed bc I wasn't going to have that kind of interaction in front of other patrons. But my anger got the best of me so I walked back into the store and beelined it to the manager in the kitchen and I asked him for a refund of today's bagel purchase. I also asked for his name so that I could report the incident to corporate. Without even considering that this could've been a record keeping error on Panera's end, he automatically assumed the card had been picked up and insinuated with that line of thinking that I was trying to swindle the store of a lousy $10 gift card. So, I quickly called (855) 372-6372 and filed a complaint. Corporate offered me a credit on my account but I declined and said I'll never frequent Panera, especially store #601630. My advice: don't run a promo when that particular item is not in stock. Don't treat customers like the way you treated me bc that's how you lose loyal patrons, fast. read more

The container was fill appropriately. Other locations are so stingy. So this was a huge plus for us. The restaurant over all looked clean and following COVID restrictions Only downfall is that no matter what Panera bread you go to, even when your request utensils when placing your order on the app, they don't provide them for you. Date of visit: October 28, 2018 The cold I was fighting had reared its ugly head, and it was affecting my appetite... so during our shopping trip, I told my girlfriend that I wanted something light for lunch. We saw Panera Bread nearby, and figured that would do it. We both decided to do the Half & Half combos; I went with a Half Asian Sesame Chicken Salad and a bowl of Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup ($11.48); Kathy chose the Half Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt and a small order of Baja Mac & Cheese ($11.78). I went with hot tea, and my lady went with their Passion Papaya Green Tea. The food really hit the spot - my soup especially helped with my cold, and Kathy being the mac & cheese connoiseur she is was pleased with how the avocado and flavorings went together on Panera's offering. The French baguettes we got with our orders were quite good; Panera does their breads right, and the combination of the baguette and soup especially did me good. And the dessert... even though Kathy and I split one of their Chocolate Chip Muffies (.99), it was very delicious and I made a mental note to myself to get more of them once I kicked my cold. Recently ordered a delivery of a Family Feast from Panera Bread for dinner and, as expected, it was ok but could have been better. We ordered a soup and sandwich meal. The Broccoli Cheddar soup was still hot upon arrival. It was rich, creamy, and tasty. The sandwiches were pretty inconsistent, though. We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt, Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, Toasted Steak & White Cheddar, and Mediterranean Veggie. The flavors of all the sandwiches were fine - really nothing special or worth going into detail over. But the breads were pretty dry. So the sandwiches were not the most enjoyable. The Caesar Salad was fine as well. It tasted like your usual Caesar Salad. But the "croutons" here are not your super-toasted crunchy croutons you're accustomed too. Rather they use chunks of dry bread, which actually was off-putting, since the texture felt more like stale bread in a salad. On top of all this they give you a French Baguette, and I really wish they had other options. The Baguette was rock solid, so we didn't eat it. We also ordered a Mango Yuzu drink, which tasted fine, but isn't worth the price in my opinion. It was refreshing, though, and not too sweet. Hands down the most dirty restaurant I have been to in a long time. 75% of the tables still had plates and napkins all over them, napkins on the floor and chairs scattered all over the place.
