First of all. Parking is pretty easy and there's tons of seating. If you want a place to meet where you can find a place to park and sit down then this is a solid choice. I would recommend Panera as a place to have coffee and baked goods, including sandwiches. I had a salad, the chicken balsamic and grains salad. It was a mushy mess and the taste matched the mushy mess. My friend had the harvest medley salad. It looked much better. The small piece of baguette that came with it was the best part of the whole meal. My friend had the kettle chips for her side. The bagged chips were not good at all...a stale oily taste. C'mon now. Chips are always good. How do they mess up chips!? My friend had an oatmeal cookie and said it was really good. I had tea to drink. No complaints there. Some of the tables were dirty, but they seem really short staffed, so I think they are doing the best they can. The man who took our order was really nice and personable. I would go back if I were in the area, but probably keep it simple and just order soup and sandwich, or just go there for coffee and a baked good. It's a good place to meet and have a chat.

I'm a little surprised by the low Yelp rating (2.7 Stars at the time of my review). This location is always busy at lunchtime. Service is friendly and the food is good. They have a self-order kiosk, or you can order in-person at the counter, which is my preference (I like speaking with someone). Grab your pager, find a table, and wait to be buzzed. You do have to pick up your own food, but that's not too bad. I especially love their Broccoli Cheddar Soup, and usually do the half sandwich/cup of soup combo, which comes with a bag of chips or a baguette.

I often come to this place to eat because it's close to my child's school. A lot of people also come here to work on their laptops, and if you're a student at Mt. SAC, chances are you've been here too. They offer unlimited coffee and drinks, which you can help yourself to, and the monthly membership fee is very affordable--I think it's much cheaper than renting a co-working space. The staff here are also very friendly. As for the food, I think it's decent, though during peak mealtimes the wait can be a bit long. Sometimes groups of students also gather here. I usually end up coming several times a month. You know what's really interesting? There's an older gentleman who always comes in with lots of bottles and secretly fills them up with coffee to take home. Every time he comes, he does it in this mysterious way, but he takes a lot of coffee. Even though the drinks are unlimited, it's not really meant for you to take home. I think the staff recognize him, but he's just way too blatant about it. People like that can really ruin the spirit of having "unlimited" drinks.

I've never been the biggest fan of Panera, but my opinions may have changed. Ordered take out and got the Spicy Steak Asiago Bagel Stack and Balsamic Chicken Greens with grains salad! 5/5 for steak bagel 5/5 for the salad Was pleasantly surprised!

This was a good spot for me to go to during lunch, when I was still working at one of the schools that wasn't far from here. They seem to be quite organized with the way they handle their orders, and I don't find myself waiting any longer than 5 minutes. You can help yourself with your own hot coffee and cold beverages, so it's quite convenient. Honesty, I'm not that big of a fan of the menu items, because they never really have anything I like besides the asiago bagel sandwiches. These sandwiches are like my favorite thing here. I prefer the chicken over the spicy steak. There's a good amount of room in this location, and it's overall a nice place.

I guess it used to be a Japanese restaurant, but it always looked so fancy on the outside that when I was in MS/HS/college, it looked too bougie to go to. Now 15 years later and with paltry income, I can treat my mom to lunch here! They're open at 11 AM, but we went in at around 10:50 AM since the Open sign was turned and the Open lights were one. Worker there greeted us with a smile, checked up on us the entire time, refilled our waters, brought us bowls to help us split food even when not prompted, and had a smile on the entire time. For the hour that we were there, a single diner came in and a party of 8 as well. They have a written wait list in front and a to go order kiosk, so you can tell they're pretty popular. Both of us got custom pho, which is $17 (the lowest base price unless you get plain) and you get an option of 3 proteins. Add an extra $1 for fresh noodles. We both just opted for the classic thin noodles. I ordered without beansprouts thinking it was already going to be in our broth, but it comes out as a side dish but the plate was enough for my mom and I to share. HUGE portions of pho. The bowl size is easily a large at any other pho restaurant. Both of us finished all of the meat in our order, but there was still a decent amount of noodles left so come in hungry. I ordered my custom pho with beef brisket, flank, and rib eye. Some of the cuts were a bit more fattier with big chunks of chewy gooey fat, which I'm not a fan of and left in the bowl. Other than that, pretty good meat quality. Not the most tender, but not tiny pieces or too dry either. Broth was pretty flavorful, nice depth of taste with the beef stock flavor, the onions and other garnishes. It's a bit fatty in taste, but it makes it richer in my opinion. We got a regular fried rice to try and take home for my brother's lunch. It's a plain one with carrots, peas, and scrambled eggs with some onions, garlic, and pepper (the spice). Light in flavor so it's not mega greasy. Just add some sauce on the side to taste. Overall, not a bad experience.

We were able to share amongst all of us and my goodness, the portions are HUGE. We were so full and stuffed! I really enjoyed the Tom Yum noodle soup! I got it medium spicy (my group cannot handle it too spicy) and it was so good. I loved the sour and spicy and the bits of lemongrass in it really packed a punch! The pineapple fried rice was okay, a bit smokey for my taste and it has raisins with cashews! The pad see ew was yummy, sweet and savory! The sesame peanut noodles have been disappointing the last three times I've ordered them. They barely add any sauce anymore, so the noodles taste bland. Instead, they throw in a ton of minced garlic and especially minced ginger, which completely overpowers the dish. It doesn't taste anything like it used to. The service has also gotten worse. I asked an employee in Spanish if I could have a straw. She acted like she didn't understand me, so I asked again in English, and she still said she didn't understand. I just said never mind. But a few minutes later, my aunt asked the same employee in Spanish for more water, and suddenly she understood perfectly. That honestly left me confused. The employees also come off as rude and unfriendly. Then, when it's time to pay, they practically shove the tablet in your face while standing there watching you. We were a party of four, yet there was a $16 gratuity added, and on top of that they asked us how much extra tip we wanted to leave. It feels like you're being pressured into tipping twice instead of it being your choice. It's honestly sad because this place used to be so good. I've noticed fewer people eating there lately, and if the food quality and customer service keep getting worse, I can see why. I hope management takes this seriously and brings Thumbling back to what it used to be.
