1st time i was totally disappointed at panera. i came here after 830 pm idk if they were trying to get rid of whatever tuna they had left in the kitchen or what but this was a disaster i didn't even know where to begin. i had to remove a lot of the tuna, you can see in the 1st pic a mountain of tuna i had already removed but there is still a lot of it on the sandwich itself. all that mayo made the bread super soggy.... just sad. read more

Panera Bread in Woodbridge is kept clean and the employees of the establishment are very kind and always welcome their customers. The broccoli and cheddar soup (as always) is my favorite and a delight. I tried the chipotle chicken avocado melt and it was just ok. The bread was a bit too soggy for my liking. Panera is always a good place to go for a quick and healthier lunch option, compared to your typical fast food chain options. I love that Panera has added kiosk ordering to their restaurants. It's so convenient to order when you know what you want and want to be in & out. My food was made fairly quickly, which consisted of 2 half sandwiches and 2 soups. Can't really complain. I haven't had a bad Panera experience yet amongst the different locations I've visited. read more

Oh Panera. Are you giving away gold? The lines here between 12 and 2 are insane!! Can't come here during the week because I get anxious I'll never make it back to work on time! But, who doesn't love your You Pick Two? Chicken salad on seminola and an asian salad anyone? People are friendly and there's free wi-fi- though it is limited to 30 minutes during peak hours. You can also get calorie information for everything, but I don't recommend you do that. P.S. I wish you sold breakast past 10:30 for my once in a blue lazy day. read more

Came here to eat before shopping. Everyone was every friendly, and it was clean. Sometimes Paneras are a hit or miss but this one is a good one. Ordering was fast and effortless, and they did not mess up the order..yay! A special thanks to Alexis who went out of her way to ask what color tulip cookie my daughter wanted. I don't understand why this Panera seems to always have workers who either hate their job or don't comprehend customer service, and I don't know why I still try to see if the next visit will be better because I do believe some people can have a rough day but today was the last day. I did a preorder so that I can run in and out. I head to the pick up counter and see my bag is there, awesome. I had also purchased a coffee of which on the last visit they told me to ask an associate the cup and than I can proceed to pour my coffee. I than ask an associate by first saying excuse would you be able to give me my cup so that I can pour my coffee. The associate turns around looks at me than points to the guy. I look at her like uhmm... ok.. than he walks over and I ask the same question and he says it's not in the bag? I didn't assume to look since last visit they told me to ask for the cup.. I thank him anyways and say have a great day. I than head to pour my coffee where there aren't any sugars and another associate, comes to open a drawer and I ask him do I head to the registers to ask for sugar, for him to than say how many, I say 4 brown please and he goes in the drawer and pulls out 4 and says here's our last 4.. right .. like I said I'm never coming to this Panera again. It's right by my job and yet I will never be here again. If anyone lives in the north Brunswick area the Panera off Main Street in the target plaza is WAY BETTER, and although I work in Woodbridge.. Good place for healthy quick food. Lineups can be long at peak lunch hour, but the selections are really a good option if you want relatively fast but nutritious food and not junk. The You Pick Two is great value, and their premium sandwiches are flavorful. I love their hearty soups. This location is at par with all their other locations. In general this franchise maintains good consistency across locations (unfortunately this includes the consistent crazy town mad lineups at noon wherever I've been.) read more

I thought this place was pretty crappy. I could make just as good a sandwich, probably a much superb sandwich than Panera Bread. I think this place is overrated and overpriced for the tiny excuses for food they hand to you. My family went in and we each ordered the Pick 2 Special in which we picked the half cafe sandwich and a soup. The Lemon Chicken & Orzo soup was pretty tasty... although my sandwich was small thing of bread, veggies, hummus, and feta cheese. For such a tiny sandwich and soup, at least throw in a free drink. I don't think I'll ever come back to Panera. There's not much to rave about this place if you ask me. Sure, the exterior and interior of the place are beautiful, but that's about it. As for food, I think I'll walk over to the Wegmans across the parking lot and get a hot/cold sub or a good meal. Also, if you have a baby and you walk into the bathroom.. There is no sign indicating a baby changing table anywhere. At first you think it doesn't exist, but actually it's inside the Handicapped Bathroom stall. It's true that I don't really like the layout of Panera ... but I got a steak salad this time, and it was REALLY good. In fact I made a mental note of all the ingredients so that I could make it at home myself. No seriously, that salad was amazing. Ok... So this panera bread location is open during quarantine and you would expect the same service and good food as if they were open on a regular day. Well something must of been wrong with the chief today because everything i ordered was incorrect. I ordered chicken noodle soul it had only broth and two carrots in it.No noodles or chicken what so ever.. Then i ordered a cuban sandwich and it was all disheveled the cheese looked as if someone dropped it on the ground and placed it back on my sandwich it had black specs on it as if it fell on the floor. Then my salad which was a modern greek quinoa salad, i order it all the time. It was made completely wrong and they did not use kale but spring salad mix. I drove at least 20 minutes away to pick up my food expecting my order to be correct. I will NOT BE ORDERING ANY FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN AT LEAST TIL QUARANTINE IS OVER!!! Inconsistent with portions and you can only get your order customized depending in who your order taker is. Check your to go food before you leave. I order the yogurt for breakfast and it's different every time. Once had only about 3 spoonfuls of yogurt, another time they put the granola directly in it so it was soggy by the time i got to work. They take a long time to get your order ready too. Order ahead or be late to work. I spend too much at Panera to get my this food way. read more

I almost never go to Panera, because it's right in the same shopping plaza as Wegmans. And I'll take Wegmans food over Panera most days. But I was craving their mac and cheese, because I wasn't feeling well and needed some comfort food. They're starting to change this Panera into one of the tablet ordering locations, where they can fire half their staff but still take the same number of customers. You know the type. You have to order everything on a touchscreen, like in a Wawa or QuickChek. I like the idea of the speed, but I hate that probably a lot of people are going to lose their jobs when the changeover fully happens. I do like that they now offer to bring your food to you, kind of like Hardees does. You get a little placard with a number on it, and one of the cooks brings your tray to you. It's a nice touch for a fast food place, letting you grab a table and not have to worry about standing around, waiting for your name to be called. And they've streamlined the online ordering, there's a little shelf where you just grab your food and go. Lots of little changes added up make Panera better, but they're still too overpriced for the amount and quality of food, in my opinion. read more

Rather tucked away Panera Bread in the corner of a plaza with REALLY long lines during lunch hours. Truthfully, if you're coming into this area for food and want to get a sandwich, Wegman's makes some of the best subs I've ever tasted (and they're right across the street); however, if you're studying (like moi) and in need of WiFi, then Panera's would be the right choice. Perhaps I was just extremely hungry that day or their portions are a little smaller than others in the area, but I wolfed down my Pick 2 combo items and was still hungry for more (mind you, I also tore apart that piece of whole grain bread they include on the side too). Prices are the same, I believe (definitely under $10) and I got the Mediterranean Veggie 1/2 sandwich and Cream of Tomato Soup. They were okay, nothing to brag about. It is the same Panera's quality I would expect everywhere although I did notice the guy prepping the food was very haphazard in pouring the soups and what not and just let it run down the sides of the soup cup/bowl. read more

I love Panera. Try to eat a salad every day for lunch but this place is horrendous. It's to the point where I think they're F'n with me. Every single time I eat here something is messed up with my order and I order the most simple thing on the menu. A Ceasar salad. First they bring me out a half size, return with a full that has no chicken or my side apple. Ask for extra grated cheese at the kiosk and I have zero on my salad when it comes. We have been here twice, and twice they somehow messed up our order. The first time they forgot to give us our sandwich, luckily we were still there getting drinks when they noticed. The second time is they gave us someone else's sandwich and luckily we were still there to catch the mistake. Clean place, and the tablet ordering is a nice touch. However, it seems that the staff have issues double checking orders. QA needs to be addressed a little better. read more

I went in to this location and ordered a green goddess salad customized to go. The clerk that checked me out (Joshua)looked like he had no idea what he was doing. He finally got my order right after I repeated myself a few times. I paid cash. I thought at this point, ok no problem maybe he is new. I go serve myself a drink, then go to the area for guests to pick up food. All I get to see is a bunch of employees CURSING loudly, horsing around and talking about their fashion Nova orders and how they better be right. Yeap.. I'm thinking.. 10+ dollars for a salad and this is who is making it. I look over and some don't even have gloves on. I finally get my food, I'm annoyed with the lack of professionalism so I leave without making sure my order is ok. I drove all the way home (4miles) pull my salad out of the bag and not only is it wrong it has ZERO dressing. A dry salad! I call the location and speak to Sarah the manager. Since I paid cash she can't do much over the phone. She does offer me a baked item for my trouble. What a joke. I had to drive all the way back to Panera (4miles) to return it. I spoke to the other manager (tall African American guy) and he just returns my money. No how could we make this right, or let me make this right. Manager he is not! This is the fundamental problem with food service. I don't think I'll be stopping in Panera again. This isn't the first time I get half assed service in this location. Sorry Panera. Ordered a large cappuccino today and It was disappointing because the coffee content was barely half in my cup. I understand in contains a froth but not to the point that the coffee is given less than half. There should be a little room for the coffee, yet the coffee should be more than half. What a lousy way to ruin my morning and waste of money as well. I didn't have the time to complain about it since I was heading to work. If there was a way to give no stars, I would definitely choose that. I ordered a Greek Salad with Quinoa, the vegetarian option. It was a takeout order. After I took it home which is about 25 minutes away with the traffic, I found after I started eating, that there was chicken in there. I am a vegetarian by religion. When I called the restaurant, my husband spoke with a guy named Nicholas who called himself the manager. He offered to make a new salad for me if I returned. Moreover, the portions were definitely smaller than when we eat at the restaurant. My husband requested a refund and asked for the manager's last name. He rudely responded that we didn't need to know that. I will never be going to any Panera, because these people have no manner or no sense of customer courtesy. This is my all time favorite Panera to go to. It's a bit off the way but its a great spot with an awesome fireside table. I love panera bread's soups and sandwiches. I have ordered multiple times from this location and every time I am disappointed. The delivery is never on time. My order has been wrong multiple times where they had to redeliver it. The sandwiches are always a mess as well. Why order a to go sandwich when you just have to remake it anyway? Good thing I am not allergic to nuts because I asked for tomato basil bread but received the cranberry almond bread instead. I went on Sat at 7:50pm and there was no rush. We ordered 2 half and 1 whole Mediterranean Veg Sandwiches in total. I felt that the sandwich was a ripoff, with just a bit of cucumber, some slivers of onion and some lettuce. I found later from the website, that it was supposed to contain feta cheese and some hummous. There was no hummous or feta in my sandwich and one of the half sandwich of our friend. Only 1 person got feta out of 3. The black bean soup had no garnish of any kind. Don't know if it is normal. The kitchen person ladled the soup so that the bowl was splashed outside, too. May be I am watching too much Hell's Kitchen but I did not like the way it was served and the inconsistent preparation. 2/12/11 It is over a week now and I have not heard back from Panera, in response to my contacting them on their website . I like panera a lot. Their food is hearty, wholesome, and is much more healthy than typical fast food places! I recently tried the rapid order for the first time. Such a good idea! You order your entire meal online, pay online, and just go to the restaurant when you requested it to be ready and pick it up. I wanted to write an update to this review. I'm not sure if they realized the flaws to the rapid pick up, they must've because they fixed it. I've ordered the rapid pick up again a few times since posting and it's been a much better experience. The food is ready and all of my items were in the bag. Keep it up! read more
