If you want to avoid any issues. Do not, I repeat, do not, I read one more time, do not order pizza from this place via door dash. Unless you want to waste the next couple of hours of your life fixing it. These guys will send you the entire wrong pizza or they have structured their options for half toppings (probably the only place on the internet that does this). They will put you on hold continuously and not do anything once its resolved. They dont care about customer service and they do not take accountability for materially messing up orders. The pizza they ultimately gave me tasted like cardboard anyways, so the whole situation was not totally worth it. Ultimately they kept me on hold and no one came back. We have tried this place a few different times and have tried to order different things each time. Our first time was ordering pizza back in April, and we loved that they had an option to do a half-and-half pizza. We tried a half buffalo, and half Mexican pizza- which was the first time I had ever seen Mexican pizza offered anywhere since moving to the northeast. We've also tried the Hawaiian pizza, the churros, Meatball Parm, Cheeseburger, egg rolls, and most recently ordered the chicken Parm entrée for my husband, and I ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak. We have had good pizza experiences, but we are not personally fond of some of the other options. I was extremely disappointed with the buffalo chicken cheesesteak because it is advertised as shredded chicken and I'm pretty sure I received ground beef. Pizza is everywhere in Woodbridge NJ and this restaurant is pretty well known amongst locals. It has a diner feel to it. Lots of TVs on the walls for sports enthusiasts. Basic beer selection but no particular cocktails. Pizza was incredibly oily though. I appreciated that the crust is thin. The garlic knots were subpar. Unfortunately, my experience at this establishment was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. The service was unorganized, inattentive, and far below what I would consider an acceptable standard. We were left standing for approximately 20 minutes without any clear communication about when we would be seated. After finally being seated, we waited another 20 minutes before anyone attended to us. Even once we were seated, the service remained extremely slow. It took an unreasonable amount of time for our order to be taken, and after that, we were essentially left waiting without any meaningful attention from the staff. What made the situation even more frustrating was seeing an employee spending time talking with a friend while customers were still waiting to be served. That gave the impression that customer service was not a priority. When our pizza finally arrived, it was equally disappointing. After such a long wait, I expected the food to at least be enjoyable, but the pizza was bland and lacked flavor. Considering the amount of time we spent waiting, the food was nowhere near worth it. There were also customers behaving very disrespectfully, and I did not see the situation being handled appropriately. The overall atmosphere, combined with the poor service and disappointing food, made the entire experience unpleasant. For a first-time customer, this was enough to make me decide that I would not return. A restaurant should make customers feel welcomed and valued, not ignored and inconvenienced. Unfortunately, this experience accomplished the opposite. I sincerely hope management takes these issues seriously and makes significant improvements to both the quality of the service and the overall customer experience. I'm a regular here because their pizzas are excellent. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy with that classic tavern-style crunch, and the cheese and sauce were balanced really well. We tried a plain pie and a buffalo chicken, and both came out hot with great flavor. Gina is always a pleasure and always provides excellent service to all her customers. The pizzas are thin enough that you can easily share a couple with the table, which is honestly the best way to enjoy this style. The edges had a nice crisp while the center stayed cheesy and satisfying. If you're a fan of bar-style pizza, this spot definitely delivers. Simple, crispy, and really well done. Always a great time. One thing I could say is they are consistent. Strawberry classic wings are mildly spiced crunchy and plump. Sauceless and great just as they are. Pizza has a nice crust not over doughy and a perfect thin crust. The pizza itself has swirled sauced and the small bits that miss you get a pocket of cheese the makes it delicious. Gotta have the disco fries! A jersey staple and the gravy to sauce ratio saturated in every bite. Crafts are sometimes tapped but classic are crisp and fresh. Service is too notch for a local pub. I've had the same waitresses on numerous occasions so it's always a pleasure to come back and be remembered. They have a mix or booths, high top and even a bar with plenty of seating for all ages. A recent get together with friends had us venturing out to Woodbridge, NJ to try out Strawberry's Pub and Pizza. It looks like a run of the mill residential home from the outside, but turned out to be a busy local watering hole and pizzeria on the inside. The place was packed on a Friday night, filled with families and what seemed to be quite a few local regulars. Everything about the experience was very average, including the interiors, which had an odd layout centered around the main bar & kitchen, with some side seating extended out which seemed to be a bit disjointed from the rest of the place, without any sort of atmosphere or ambiance. I'd recommend that you request seating somewhere closer to the entrance or bar area, as your experience may not be as good if seated in the back dining area. We started off with truffles fries, mozzarella sticks, and garlic knots. While we ordinarily like truffle fries (2/5), we were disappointed since they were just standard fries with very poor distribution of the truffle oil and parmesan cheese. I would not recommend these to others. The mozzarella sticks (2.5/5) were the standard mass food service frozen variety you see at a lot of eateries without much flavor in the breading or the side marinara sauce. The garlic knots (4/5) we agreed were the best starter and were well done with decent garlic accents being too saturated in oil. For meals, we ordered a pizza (half Joey G and half plain cheese) and chicken parmigiana (with penne). The pizza (3/5) we were a bit conflicted with since the crust was thin and of very high quality, but both the sauce and cheese just didn't seem to have any zest or pop to it to make the overall pizza experience stand out as anything other than slightly above average. The chicken parmigiana (2/5) was very underwhelming as the chicken was very thin and it was as if you were eating mostly breading with every bite. We subbed out the sauce to make the side with it penne vodka (3/5) which was decent, but nothing special either. Beer prices were about $8 for a pint of standard brews you'd find elsewhere at pubs in the area. While friendly, service was a bit impersonal with multiple employees tasked with duties overseeing guest tables. Overall, it was an expectedly average pub/tavern experience where food was largely uninspired and of ok quality. We had heard good things about the pizza which could have been so much better if only there was more flavorful sauce and cheese. We are glad to have tried out Strawberry's once, but probably won't be repeat customers. read more

Our second time here so I decided to finally write a review! First time we came it was lunch time and they had part of the parking lot converted into outdoor dining, it was pretty great. They had a large space and a huge tent. We really enjoyed that and appreciated that they did that during the beginning of the pandemic, we wish it was still going on. This second time was for dinner last Friday and we dined indoors. First two photos were from our first visit, we ordered a lot more but forgot to take pictures. First visit we ordered: - half Gem (grilled shrimp, tomatoes, garlic, and basil), half cheese pizza - Strawberry's Originals (dry, lightly spicy & crunchy exterior), the server gave us some on the side and it was really good...I don't think they carry the sauce anymore though - fried pickles - corn nuggets - fries - cheeseburger eggrolls Second visit: - half verde (baby arugula, prosciutto, flavored oil & mozzarella with a balsamic glaze), half cheese pizza - jumbo wings (jacked buffalo) - fries The food was good both times. 4 1/2.. Important to know when considering this review, it is based off one solitary lunch I had while working in the area, and is based entirely on the strength of the wings. As any true wing lover knows mediocrity reigns for the most part where wings are concerned, and to find truly excellent wings, despite being perhaps pound for pound the most ubiquitous dish served across the country, is shockingly truly a revelation. The ones here were so good and made such an impression on me that their memory stuck with me nearly a year later and I decided I had to give the place it's props when looking back on the last, very challenging year. The buffalo style wings I chowed checked all the boxes for me that I look for in wings, perfectly fried to peak crispiness, topped with a somewhat creamier than usual sauce of the type that I've actually encountered most in the greater Boston area oddly enough. Most crucially however they were not too big as is often the case. I've said many times before bigger is most definitely not better when it comes to wings and for the most part oversized "Jumbo" wings almost always result in flavorless, fatty and tough wings that are usually utterly joyless. Not these, these were delicious, standing out in my memory as the best new wings I tried last year, and likely tying my beloved Star Tavern for my personal best wings in NJ title. Beyond the wings the place also endeared itself to me with it's roadhouse like setting, and staff and patrons which seemed to be a great representation of working, regular types that helped exude a real authentic sense of place of it's Central NJ location. The beer selection could have certainly used an upgrade but it seemed like the type of place where Budweiser was probably the most ordered brew (Never for me though!). I didn't have a chance to sample and of the pizza but judging from all the praise that is showered on it, it seems like this place, like the aforementioned Star Tavern might be a destination for both exceptional pizza AND wings. Perhaps if am ever back in this area again with a crowd bigger than myself I could sample both, but if I wound up back here solo again it would be tough for me not to order the wings again. read more

Drink orders were quick, food was served in an orderly fashion, and it tasted good! What we snagged: -Fried Chicken Club. Always my go to on a Sunday. Very larger pieces of chicken, wonderfully cooked bacon, and fresh veggies. -A BUNCH of pizza. From the supreme, cheese, and mushroom. All are good choices. Medium crust thickness and fresh ingredients. Any pie is worth a try. -Wings (well done) were dope. Cooked perfectly with a little bite from the sauce. Housed them all with the wifey. My girlfriend and I are pizza enthusiasts () who like to compare different pizza places in the state. She had a high opinion of this place and wanted to share it with me. We visited the restaurant on a busy day and received our food quickly, but the service was not very attentive. Our waitress, who seemed to be an older woman, did not check on us after we got our food. We had to ask the busser to clear our table and we waited for a long time to get the bill. I had to go to the bar to request it. I was patient with the situation, but my girlfriend was disappointed and would have given a low rating based on the service ALONE. But since she loves this place- she would never. The food, however, was excellent. We ordered two pizzas: one with broccoli rabe and one with various toppings. Both pizzas were delicious, though not the best we (i!) ever had. They were well-cooked, with a good crust, sauce, and cheese. The ingredients were fresh and tasty. The pizzas were also slightly more expensive than usual, probably because they came from a restaurant rather than a pizzeria. We enjoyed the food and I ended up eating six slices (I know, I know!). I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a nice pizza meal in a restaurant setting. Just for insight, my girlfriend and I have our own rating scales for pizza places, and we discussed our opinions after the meal. I gave the place and the pizza an overall score of 7.9 out of 10, while the pizza alone got an 8.4 out of 10 from me, although she said I was being biased.
