What could I improve? Everything! This Panera location is filthy. I sat in the first booth directly across from the side exit door. The paneled wall in the booth was coated with grime filth in layers from never touched. It needed to be sand blasted it made me sick. I lost my appetite only taking a couple bites until I got home and are the rest. If I had it to do over I would have taken my food to the counter and asked for a refund. No lemons for ice tea? Really? In an upscale sandwich shop?! Upon approaching the "dining" area all the tables were covered in crumbs. The seats and table tops filthy many were empty. Much to my surprise someone came out and quick wiped a table so I sat hesitantly because they left behind the crumbs on the seat. I swept them on the floor with one of my napkins. This is the worst Panera I have been to. I e gotten orders to go a few times and each time my order is wrong. I order the same thing every time. The Greek salad with chicken. Last time I got no chicken but I sure was charged for it. This time there was no feta in the sad and there was hardly anything in the container. I would have been better off with a salad from Mcds. For a ten dollar salad this was really unacceptable. I ordered two salads and both were wrong. I ordered my salad on the app and I put in a complaint on there. I think I am done coming to this Panera. It's sad because it is so close to where I live. I ordered 45$ worth of food. No bread, they didn't even put in chips or apple. When I called the manager said she would give me a voucher, which never happened, my orders on the past have been wrong. Panera has always been my working lunch spot. It's relatively quiet and has spacious tables. It was still pretty early so I came in to get some work dine and grabbed breakfast. The girl was communicating with someone when I walked in, and approaching me shortly. She placed my order, but didn't ask if u needed a beverage (my fault) and didn't add my is panera card (my fault). My meal was on another level! Horrible! I got a bagel with egg and cheese. There was no cheese (their fault) and the egg looked like jello(their fault). I was afraid to eat it. I took it off and just ate my bagel with cream cheese, I figured that was a safer choice. I came in at the perfect time, it wasn't busy and I was greeted right away by the manager. Evelyn took my order and somehow misunderstood me because I did not order a bagel. When I noticed I was charged for a bagel, I politely said I only wanted the baguette/bread that comes with the soup. Instead of going to get the manager, she goes "you said you wanted a bagel." Food seems to be the same at all of the Panera's that I've been to. The service was nice even though they were very packed. It took a little bit longer than expected to get my lunch but they were really, really packed! The cleanliness of the store is my issue and reason for the three stars. They need to do a full, deep cleaning. The booth that we sat in had a sticky seat even though the staff wiped it down for us but they were fingerprints everywhere on the table on the wall and the carpet look like it needed to be cleaned. The manager needs to take some time and have an overnight cleaning party with his staff. They can build teamwork and make sure guests feel like you care. read more

We went and the workers are so awkward and asking to put soda on the side???? they made us feel uncomfortable, we tried to get in contact with the workers because the fountain drink machine was broken and they were rude when we asked for assistance. I went to this location yesterday to get cheddar broccoli soup. When they called my name to get my order I asked for a spoon she told me they ran out of spoons. This location is just eh, I've noticed that portions are always smaller, and they frequently are out of items, even if they're apart of the daily menu item! I feel like if I go I always have to have 3 or 4 options chosen in my head before I can order because I always expect them to be out of the couple of things I want. The cleanliness of the restaurant is normal, but some times I notice the tables are dirty and I end up taking my meal to go. This location has gone down hill. Tables were dirty and the restaurant not very crowded at 6:30 so really no excuse not to have clean tables. Ordered turkey plain on sour dough bread with yellow mustard packets on the side. Received the sandwich. Had what looked like pepper on it, but I had ordered it plain. I took the sandwich back up to the counter and asked what was on my sandwich. Gotta tell you I was concerned it may have been dropped and was dirt. The gal making sandwiches said 'oh, that's salt and pepper.' I decided it wasn't worth my effort to discuss further and walked away and ate it. I did however get the wrong mustard. I received dark Dijon in a cup. Again I'm hungry and exasperated by the sandwich issue so decided I'd just use a little of the Dijon. I took a couple of knife swipes of it and put it in my sandwich. Before we left I looked at the cup of mustard and wondered what was solid in the cup. It was a long piece of lettuce. Gross. I'm now done eating and grossed out. Should have taken pictures but just wanted dinner over with and leave. Super disappointed in the $28 meal between my husband and me with our pick 2 meals. They seldom will get the order right, facility is not very clean, drink stations are a mess and many time the drinks are empty. What ever they make for you it is just thrown together and looks like no care was taken in making it. I go to many different Panera's in the Chicagoland area and this is hands down the worst one ever. In the middle of a pandemic I counted on comfort food. I spent roughly 40 dollars and instead of receiving a normal cup, I got a quarter mini cup of cheese and broccoli. My son got a quarter mini cup of barbecue macaroni. A small piece of flat bread instead of there regular fresh bread. Breakfast is just OK. Too many bakery items that are high in sugar, but not really that tasty. Breakfast sandwiches are just so-so. McDonalds breakfast sandwiches are much better and less expensive. Panera has a sandwich made with an egg over easy. The yolk drips out when the sandwich is eaten. Not good on a clean shirt. They will not make it with the yolk cooked. What happened to Panera? The quality has gone downhill in the last few years and the portions have gotten so small. I had to order two Mac and Cheese orders for my toddler, and he isn't even that big of an eater. The bread and cookies were stale. And we were all starving at the end of dinner.
