An absolute gem. We were unexpectedly up in this area and needed a late lunch. A quick search found this place and I have to say, well worth the visit. They made a custom porkroll and cheese on a semolina roll. Wonderful ! And they made another sandwich with prosciutto, salami and capicola that was insane. The bread here is the best I've had since being in France a few years ago. The attention to detail, friendly service and delicious food are all terrific. Clearly rooted in napoleon tradition! They offer a larger menu with sandwiches of many varieties. There is something for everyone here. A nice local Italian specialty deli offering premium cold cuts and other foods that are among the best in the area. Service is quick and friendly and the store has a neighborhood feel to it. Out of all the sandwiches we had my go to (and highly recommended) is the Di' Lino. Prosciutto, Sopprasata, beautifully creamy Burrata (which really makes this sandwich) Basil and Balsamic on beautiful Semolina bread! Hands down a perfect sandwich. Highly recommend this shop! 4 out of 5 stars only due to some items being a touch on the high side of pricing. read more

It was OK. Fried chicken cutlets might've been fresh, but once the refrigerated. They get hard. Philly cheesesteak tasted good. But where was the rest of it? Salt and vinegar chips were not really chip like. Fried pickles were very good, and the pretzel is delicious. Cheesesteak eggroll was more like a taquito. Make it a real eggroll. Sandwich shop should overwhelm your sandwich. You should never have to look for anything. Hopefully it'll change overtime. Good luck. read more

I can't believe how bad this place is. $17 for a sandwich that tasted like it was days old. I thought the bread was gonna be crispy but it was soft and chewy. The chicken was days old and ice cold. They slapped together a sandwich but try to make it look like it's quality ingredients. I couldn't even eat it. I literally took 2 bites and threw it out. I don't think the owners care about this place and thats sad. Would love to see them succeed. Take advice and fix the problems. read more

I was blown away by my dining experience at DiSantillo's. This is a casual eatery with a wide variety of menu items. I was extremely impressed with their abilities to make every item fresh and delicious. We started off with burrata over sliced tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. Perfect summer appetizer which was light, fresh, and the burrata was creamy and wonderful. You can never go wrong with burrata. We also tried the cheesesteak eggrolls which were a fun appetizer to try. They were crispy and cheesy and delightful and came with a great cheese dip. I had the '"pesty chicken sandwich" which was a phenomenal sandwich. I loved that it was served with stracciatella cheese! The pesto which tasted fresh was a wonderful compliment to the chicken sandwich. My friend had the drunken chicken sandwich and while I didn't try it myself, she was a big fan of the vodka and pesto combination with the chicken cutlet. Both of these are my ideal sandwiches and I will definitely order them for my next visit. We also tried the full rack of bbq ribs. I was hesitant ordering this at a sandwich shop but wound up being so astonished that they could make a phenomenal bbq rib. The sauce was zesty and smoky and the meat was falling off the bone. Totally droolworthy! We ended the night with chocolate lava cakes which were super tempting and beyond irresistible. The melty chocolate was heavenly and absolutely rich. We also tried the hazelnut gelato which was simply perfection. It was smooth and silky and creamy and a wonderful ending to a great meal. The staff was excellent and super attentive and prompt. We enjoyed our meal in a clean space. I would highly recommend DiSantillo's for a fantastic quick bite or an indulgent meal, and I will most definitely be back. read more

The bread is always delicious. However...i had an eggplant parm sandwich tonight that was the worst I've ever had. Tough to bite through, stringy and tasted like raw eggplant. Never again. read more

The chicken parm sub and the pesto chicken sub both had chicken that was so dry and chewy. It was like the chicken got cooked and microwaved several times before making its way into the sandwiches. We wound up not being able to eat it past a few bites which was very unfortunate. read more

Meatballs were a little small and dense, but delicious. The mozz sticks were good, but I hated the sauce they came with. It helped a lot dipping them in the sauce with the meatballs and ricotta. Main event I went with the OG sandwich on a torpedo roll. The bread could have been a little crustier, but it was still pretty good. The spicy relish took over the flavors. My biggest complaint is that they add a lot of extras to all their sandwiches. It's either long hots, or chili spread, or something other than just tasty meat. I'll order again, but I'll have to do some customizing to get exactly what I want. read more

3.5 I would have given 4 stars, but they use too much mustard on the sandwiches. I got the Cuban which comes with mustard, but they put too much on. It overwhelmed the sandwich. My wife ordered tuna with "a little mustard, please." Again, it overwhelmed the sandwich. The bread was good and so were the sandwiches, where we could find spots without too much mustard. I will try this place again, but stay away from the mustard. read more

We have been ordering from Disantillos almost weekly, and still really enjoy their salads. However, their sandwiches have gone downhill. It is very disappointing considering they just opened. We ordered the Pro today and the Semolina bread was stale. As well, there was barely any fresh mozzarella or meat in the sandwich. It is very convenient to our location, so we are hoping they improve their quality. read more

First timer here. Meh To be fair, only had a sandwich. Ordering process isn't great, you walk past the counter to a pair of check outs. Took my order, asked if I want my bread toasted. For a hero? I asked is the bread fresh? She said yeah. For $18, there are way better options around. And sandwiches. Not looking for a Wawa or subway value. I am willing to pay for quality. While the meats and cheeses might be, it was such a soggy clump inside my chewy bread that I couldn't tell what I was eating. Other establishments let you watch and mingle with the person making your sandwich. This was weird, the order taker got the order to the counter guys and then my order came out of the back room. Take my advice, go to Pastosa on Union Hill, Talercios in Middletown, or good ole Sorrento's in Freehold. Places like theirs get it. read more

Bread on the sandwiches was a little overwhelming and hard to chew. My jaw hurt a little bit after eating my whole sandwich. Felt like the ratio to sandwich toppings to bread was really skewed. The fries weren't too great... but it is an Italian restaurant so can't really knock that. Wasn't really a fan of the markup on a bottle of soda.. $3 is a little steep. The establishment itself was really nice, and this town can definitely do with a business like this. Huge sandwhich. Super good. Super fresh. I rate 10/10. Absolutely love. Cannot finish so I have leftovers which I absolutely love because I hate meal planning. Service was amazing. I'm a pretty picky eater and I was able to find something that I like and it's not even basic, I got the summertime sandwich and all the ingredients go together so well, it was so good. The rice bowl was creamy and delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place. They were super nice I got really good vibes from this place. This sandwich feels like I'm back in Italy! read more
