We came here for dinner today around 5:30 p.m., and everything was great. Our server helped us choose our meals, and his recommendations were excellent. Unfortunately, while we were there, we witnessed another customer being extremely rude to our server, Jonathan. The customer was aggressive, disrespectful, and even took a picture of him in what seemed like an attempt to embarrass or intimidate him. Jonathan remained calm, professional, and polite throughout the entire interaction, despite the way he was being treated. We felt terrible watching it happen. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially someone who is simply doing their job. We even asked Jonathan afterward if he was okay because it was upsetting to witness. Working in the service industry can be challenging enough without customers feeling entitled to disrespect employees. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and this experience certainly wasn't Jonathan's fault. We come here regularly, and he has always been one of the best servers we've had. We will definitely continue coming back. read more

Randomly decided to come in here. I ordered the Chicken Cesar Wrap with a side bowl of pasta salad. The pasta salad was a bit lacking, but the wrap was pretty good. They did not skimp out on the ingredients. My friend ordered the Chicken Pesto Panini. Man, that thing looked huge! I think she enjoyed her sandwich. She chose a side salad to go with it. It looked so good I wished I had chosen the salad. It was also a huge portion. For the two dishes, our bill came to about $30 ish. Not too bad honestly because of the portions of the things! I probably should have only eaten half, but the wrap dripped liquid and when I reached for the second half, it had gotten soggy. Not wanting to bring a soggy wrap home, I just ate the whole thing. I was so full I wasn't hungry for dinner until almost 9pm. Staff was okay. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Our server took our order and checked in on us once, but seemed to disappear for a long time after that. I did see other workers, but they never looked over as I tried to ask for a check. When you're on your lunch break, it is pretty important to hurry and get the bill so you can get back to the office, so that wasn't too great that it took us forever to get the bill. read more

This looks like a newly opened Panini Grill! We were going to try a near by Persian restaurant but for whatever reason, it wasn't opened yet. I took out my handy dandy Yelp and found this walking distance! We were the first customers. The place is clean, and very spacious with an outdoor seating area as well. The bf and I both got the kobbiedi plate. It came with a choice of white rice, brown rice or bulgar pilaf and a yogurt dip. You can either get 1 skewer or 2 two with only a few cents difference. You also get a choice of what kind of salad. We both got the avocado salad I got 1 skewer, with the bulgar pilaf and I personally thought the meat was amazing! It wasn't dry at all with flavors bursting. The yogurt dip too is really good. A little garlicy with dill and minced cucumber. The young man who helped us was very friendly and kept checked up on us. I've eaten here twice now, in person (tree times overall) both times sitting at the counter, which is honestly one of the best parts. You just walk in, sit down, look at the menu, and get ready to order. Since Al Wazir is gone, this is easily the best Mediterranean spot in the immediate area. There's a newer place called Kabob King, but there's basically no info on it yet. The only other real competition is the brothers on Hollywood and Gower after like 6pm -- their lamb is incredible. I've been slowly working my way through the menu trying to find my dish, and I'm not quite there yet -- not because anything's bad, just because there's a lot to like. This time I ordered the Caesar salad, chicken linguine Alfredo, and the chicken pesto panini. The Caesar is good, but here's my biggest gripe: both times I've ordered it, it just sat on the pass while the staff kept working. I could literally see it sitting there. And both times it came out with my main instead of before it. That's now happened twice, which is frustrating -- especially since a salad should be the easiest thing to fire and deliver. The chicken linguine Alfredo was solid, but it needed more chicken. Flavor-wise it's fine, comforting, and filling -- just light on protein. The chicken pesto panini, on the other hand, was great. Properly pressed, good crunch, and actually eats like a full meal. At this point, I think I need to circle back to the hummus plates and wraps, because the hummus here is genuinely excellent and that's probably where this place really shines. I've been tempted to order the chicken Caesar wrap, but I've basically had those components already, and I don't want to waste a visit playing it too safe when there's more of the menu to explore. Overall, this is still my go-to Mediterranean spot in the neighborhood. Just please -- if the salad is ready, bring the salad. read more

I've been to the location over in Century City and tried an assortment of items, but oddly, the one dish I keep returning for-regardless of location-is not their namesake paninis or kabobs, but their...pasta. Well aware they are known for more traditional Middle Eastern dishes such as kabobs, I've tried their version in chicken and well, I recall not even finishing it. Rice was really good though, as was the Caesar Salad, the Romaine Avocado Salad, and the Chicken Vegetable Soup. If I feel like having a drink, it's going to be the Strawberry Lemonade. But for some reason, it's the Rigatoni Rosa pasta that I've chosen over multiple visits. If I'm feeling super-hungry, I add on a side caesar salad for only $4.99. Grilled bread is also included with this, and it's a must. Portion size is ideal, and the flavor is unexpectedly good. Finally had the opportunity to dine-in Monday evening, and I had a nice time! Service at the counter was great, 'Fatima' was the name on the receipt but all three were fantastic (one guy and girl had on white shirts, another girl had on a black shirt, all had on glasses). That 'side caesar' was HUGE compared to when I get this to go. Even a customer further down the counter asked me what dish I was enjoying. Panini Kabob Grill has been a longtime favorite of mine here in Los Angeles - ever since my college days at USC, I loved visiting the one in DTLA. I'm so glad there's a lovely new Panini Kabob Grill right here in Hollywood - complete with a spacious outdoor dining space! As I already mentioned, this new location has a lovely patio space outside along Sunset Blvd - it was very relaxing to dine there on a Saturday afternoon while walking home from a workout. Service was prompt and in no time at all I had my Falafel Wrap - a great value at $11.99, as it is full-sized and also comes with hummus, tzatziki, and side salad or soup!! I love that there's plenty of vegan/vegetarian options here, such as my Falafel Wrap. Other offerings include great Mediterranean plates, paninis, and wraps..including the Chicken Pesto Panini & Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob - both of which I've had in the past and are absolutely delicious. The portions are also always SO generous! The server Jonathan is incredibly condescending and arrogant. I was waiting to be served at a table, he walked up to me and rudely asked in a condescending tone if I were there to pick up an order as a door dash driver. If I were a delivery driver, one just don't come up to people like that (ironically, Jonathan is the actual server here and I'm the customer). Jonathan is a potential lawsuit waiting to happen. I'm so excited that location is up and running! We went opening weekend and the staff are just as welcoming, friendly and on top of it as their other locations. No opening weekend jitters or flub ups here. I absolutely love that they not only have Vegan options but that they put just as much flavor and effort into the Vegan options that they do in their non Vegan options. I ordered the Hummus Trio which to me is a must. The Hummus is so darned good and the Pita is warm and fluffy. My other go to here is the Tofu Kabob Platter which I get with the Avocado Salad and Basmati Rice. It's so good I could probably have this at least once a week. Rounded my meal off with a glass or two of Chardonnay and I could say my meal was perfection. They have an attached garage to park but the garage arm was broke so fortunately we found parking on the street. read more

Loved it!!!! Have been passing by this place many times and finally decided to try. Parked a block away on the street. Heard the parking can get a little challenging, although was told by an employee that they validate and it is 1 hour free with validation. Loved the outdoor seating, very spacious and has a relaxing ambiance. The food was amazing. Had the salmon caesar wrap with spinach tortilla and a Greek salad. The wrap is warm which was a nice surprise and the salmon had a charred taste to it. It's a generous size too. Absolutely loved it and cannot wait to return to get it again. It was lunchtime on a Tuesday and instead of tacos I went Mediterranean. This place always LOOKS inviting when you drive by. It's literally a block east of Sunset & Vine! Lots of outdoor seating. Not sure if it's dog friendly, so call beforehand and check. The seats are a little challenging for someone of my girth. I mentioned it to the server and she quickly brought me a seat from inside. Service is getting some good marks. Water is served in a 16oz glass. Also cool cause most places serve you a 8-10 oz cup. The decor is warm. Orange lights adorn the outdoor patio. Ordered the Falafel Combo Appetizer The service was fast. And the portion is definitely shareable. The Tzatziki was not too garlicky. DELICIOUS!! The lemon and dill balanced as well. The Falafel were probably the best I've ever had. And I hate saying that because I've eaten them everywhere. The Pita triangles were warm. The Cucumber rafts were also quite huge! So tasty. So fresh The HUMMUS!! Bro! It was also just damned good. I don't like when hummus is "too" smooth. I like texture. This hummus is on point. Slightly grainy. Not enough to taste but enough to see I ordered the PESTO PANINI w/ the Lentil Soup as my side dish. The weather is dictating soup. Today it's cloudy and slightly chilly. Looks like rain so soup it is. Next time I'm trying the Strawberry Date Salad. The Lentil Soup should find its way to your table - no matter the weather. It is so satisfying. It was creamy with the perfect amount of flavor. Man-o-man I hope this wasn't a fluke! Cause I know I'm talking this spot up. Now to the Pesto Chicken Panini. The chicken was very tender. For a chicken breast - it's pretty rare. They are usually rubbery. Check out Shit Fila The Pesto was Genovese style - which is to say my pine nuts. Smart for allergy purposes. The sandwich was perfectly grilled. And now here's my kinda sorta bullshitty negative because I cannot post a post like this without sounding gushy... I thought the panini needed a wee bit of salt. I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW!!! You shut up!! I'm talking 9 - 10 granules. Next time I stop by I'm looking forward to exploring the Baklava!! Wait. WHUTT!? So make this a stop on your journey to or fro... This is definitely a great spot for Mediterranean food in Hollywood! The prices are great for the amount of food you get too. There is a ton of seating inside and outside and it was actually quiet enough to talk to others while you hangout. The staff were friendly. I came at an off time so there was not a lot of people there so I got prime seating outside. I ordered the chicken kabob plate and the lamb kabob plate to go. The salad was the best Mediterranean salad I have ever had. The rice was good. The chicken and lamb were juicy, but both could have used more flavor. Tonight, we were planning to go to a different restaurant down the street but they were closed for maintenance we decided to give Panini Kabob Grill a shot and we are soooo glad we did. I had the Falafel plate which was fantastic. The falafel were light and flavorful and both the hummus and tzatziki were amazing. My husband had the Pesto Chicken Panini. It was so flavorful and the chicken was moist and plentiful. We sat on the patio which was a great choice. It was breezy and they played great music. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the service. It was inconsistent at best. There were long stretches of time when we saw no servers and we had to flag someone down to get a refill on water. We then had to wait WAY too long for the bill after we asked for it, almost 20 minutes. Overall, it was a great restaurant with okay service. read more

I got the Beef Koobideh Kabob with two beef skewers, with white rice & Caesar salad, & my girl got the Meat Lovers which comes with two skewers too (one charbroiled chicken, one beef) white rice and Romaine avocado salad with Lemon vinaigrette. & just like the other two locations I've been too, food was delicious & they don't hold back on the portions! We had enough to take back home. I want to shout out Marlen V. For the great customer service, very attentive, and has been the only waitress to have ever offered us Sumac which I will say kinda enhanced the flavor. If you can, ask for it, if they don't offer it to you. After having walked past this new location enough times, we finally decided to give this place a try last night, and wound up dealing with the worst service EVER. Apparently the vetting process to work there must be simply walking in and saying that you want a job. Zero care, zero warmth, zero welcoming attitude, zero recognition that without customers they wouldn't even have a job, etc. It was abhorrent. Literally dropping things off on the table without a word, and walking away. No "Can I get you anything else?', never an offer to refill our water glasses, no " How is everything?", NOTHING! The two kids working last night don't deserve a paycheck; better they were offered a course in how to deal with customers: to actually speak with them, and make it at least appear that you give a crap! Ate here and my entire family got food poisoning . We usually eat at the one in corona Del Mar/costa Mesa, and the one in Sherman oaks, but we decided go to this newer location and ended up all 4 of us violently projectile vomiting and diarrhea-ing for 3 -4 days. My wife has not vomited in over 20 years (i know that's weird) so to hear her vomit for the first time since she was a teenager was interesting to say the least. It was BAD. 1 by 1 we all got sick in a short amount of time and Mine struck while I was at a friends house and I was throwing up so bad and often I had to sleep on their bathroom floor for 24 hours because I didn't want to experience a violent puke/diarrhea outburst in my car on the 101 and cause an accident. I tried to contact corporate as well as on Instagram I posted we got sick from there and they reached out to me but then ghosted me and corporate won't return my calls so I decided to let you all know- somebody ain't washing their hands in the kitchen or something! We had the grilled chicken kabobs and rice .. I didn't order so I don't know the exact name or size but it was enough for 2 kids and 2 adults to eat. read more

Found a massive piece of raw chicken in my kabob. And I mean RAW. They were unbothered and tried to just replace that one piece of chicken, not seeming to understand how cross contamination works. They took the plate away, then brought the entire plate back, including the raw chicken, dropped it in front of me, and tried to say I could eat the rice at least - again, this raw chicken has touched everything on my plate at this point. I had to push back to get them to replace the entire plate to go. Yes they eventually did it, but with no apology, no offer of a discount, and no real clarity that they understand food safety at all. Also, they left that raw chicken there the entire night for me to look at while we waited for them to cook the replacement. I definitely won't be eating there again. Very disappointing. Salad was good. But check your chicken thoroughly. read more
