This place is right across the street from my workplace! I love that it's so close and i don't have to go very far if i didn't bring lunch from home. I have eaten here twice the past week! Lol The first time i got the teriyaki chicken bowl. I was disappointed because there wasn't enough sauce on it for me, but i enjoyed it anyway! It also came with veggies which was nice! The next time i ordered from them i got the cheeseburger and the onion rings. The burger was extra cheesy and overall the patty was cooked perfect! I just had to add ketchup. Their onion rings are delicious! It takes just as good as the one's from Burger King! Overall this place may become my new favorite spot! The woman at the counter was very nice and friendly. We had a variety - spam breakfast, shrimp omelette, salmon, mochiko chicken/shoyu pork. Eggs were cooked perfectly (sunny side up); shrimps were huge; salmon cooked perfectly; chicken very flavorful (not greasy); and, the shoyu pork very tasty and tender. Hole in the wall place that I pass by Everytime cause it.diesnt look like much from the outside. But, I'm glad I took a chance as the menu is good and i ordered breakfast today. Much better than going to McDonald's for just spam and eggs as they got the same for $6. I ordered 2x spam and eggs, veggie omelet and the french toast breakfast. All good servings and good. This place used to be a food or a bbq place before. This place has been here for a while now. When I am in the area during work time and sometimes I am there too early before they are even open for business. Today, is Veteran's Day and a lot of food places were closed for the holiday. I passed by and I saw the "open" sign light on and so I decided to go and take a look this time. I parked, looked inside, saw people inside and I went inside. The lady at the counter said, you can order breakfast or lunch. I ordered the battered garlic shrimp, I paid and sat down. In about 5 minutes my order was ready. I tasted the shrimp first and it was hot and really, really salty!! I tried only a small piece of the shrimp again and it was good. I tried the garlic/butter sauce and it was like someone added too much salt for some reason and that I don't know why you would add any salt to it at all. Maybe, an accident or that is how it is? There were like 6 customers ordering after I got my food. I didn't want to go up to the front counter and tell the lady in front of all her other customers. So, I just decided to just scrape off all the garlic/butter. It wasn't as salty after. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again?? read more

Pan's is a solid place to get a plate lunch. I like their meat jun and their breaded pork chop with mushrooms and onions. Their Hawaiian Garlic Chicken is nice, as well as their hamburger katsu (menchi katsu). I have been interested to try their breakfast, but unfortunately haven't had the chance to go in the morning. When for the first time last night with my mom. I had the shoyu pork. It was tender and delicious. A little fatty, but shoyu pork should have some fat. My mom had the Korean fried chicken wings. The sauce was very delicious and it did have a lot of garlic. The place is very clean and very comfortable. Will definitely be back again. read more

I called in an order for 2 top sirloin plates with onions and mushrooms. When I got home there was barely any steak or mushrooms and onions. I suspect they split one order into two and charged me for it...Each plate had 6 small pieces of steak and what probably equalled 2 small mushrooms and a quarter wedge of an onion... located right across windward dodge jeep dealership. we had an appointment to get our truck fixed, so we decided to go here for breakfast. it's a new place, very clean and spacious. we got their two egg combo breakfast and half order of french toast. basic breakfast nothing special. their half order french toast came with five pieces. the prices are okay. next time we'll try their lunch plates. read more

Hubby and I hit the road this morning checking out the storage units in kaneohe to store items, we ended up at the family owned storage place on behind the mall.. being family owned business we love to support local.. famished, we went next door to pan's kitchen, the old chuns bbq..I had the special katsu loco, chicken katsu gravy 2eggs how you like it on rice for 7.95. Hubby had Portuguese sausage bacon 2eggs rice under 6.00 2 coffees, 16.00 and some change.. can't go wrong.. delicious we ate everything.. content and on our way to finish our work day. Today some peers and I decided to try local food and came across this restaurant which we all agreed was a good idea. Once we arrived we made a phone call for curbside pick up because we were all in uniform and aren't authorized per the order to go inside public vicinities. We let the lady know over the phone and told her we parked in front and she took our order and everything seemed fine. However after i get my card back from her she yells at me and then says her phone is very busy and the food will be ready in 10 minutes then throws her hands up and storms inside but we thought nothing of it. After a few minutes go by she comes back outside and says we need to come get our food. We all looked at each other like what are we going to do because she took our money and when she took our order nothing seemed to be a problem until it became busy plus we are in military uniform which isn't allowed inside. We waited maybe a couple of more minutes and she brings the food out and as i rolled my window down she pushed the two bags of food through my window that fell onto my lap and face and she storms inside. I will never come here ever again and highly recommend other not to as well!! SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE AND WE WERE EXTREMELY POLITE TO HER! read more

Came here with Mom. I had the Ono which was a special that day. Classic plate lunch style. I liked it a lot. Very scampi or mojo de ajo flavor (for my mainland peeps), very very heavy on the garlic, but I don't take people who don't like garlic seriously. :) Ambiance is mega casual, almost industrial, but it fits with the Kaneohe vibe. I have dined here twice since they opened. Once for breakfast, and once for lunch. Both times the food, service and atmosphere were OUTSTANDING!!! Nicely remodeled interior. Impressive menu. Fast and friendly service. And the food is ONO. I have had the 2 egg breakfast as well as the cheeseburger combo. The portions are very generous and quite delicious. I can see myself eating here quite often as I work and live in the area. They also offer free wi-fi service!! Wanted to try this new restaurant even though someone told me the 2 dishes they ordered was terrible. The location is close and the menu looks good so we just tried a side portion of shoyu pork. First off for $9, we thought the portion size was small and not worth the price. Secondly this was not slow cooked, fall apart, thick sauce shoyu pork...more like pre boiled, quick stir heat up in a thin oily shoyu sauce. This clean little diner has become my go-to place for a delish plate lunch type meal. It offers customers free WiFi too. The Garlic Shrimp and Mochiko Chicken are excellent. On nights when getting home late makes it a challenge to prepare dinner, Pan's Kitchen in Kaneohe is a great solution. I'm not done exploring their menu yet.
