Bought a pair of 5-Pocket Dickies here, wore them for 2 hours and the seam on the butt started falling out. This was before washing them or any real wear and tear. I don't have a "seam-busting-booty" by any means, so I took them back that day and they wouldn't exchange them even though they were faulty. Now I'm out $40 and still need work pants. Customer service is completely crap. Just plain rude. Asked for a pair of pants in a size 26 which is the size I wear in every pair of pants I have and then looked at me and said "no you're not a 26, I'm gonna get you a 28 and a 30" as if I wasn't skinny enough to wear that size of pants that I wear on a daily basis??? I went there yesterday to buy a couple of pairs of pants. They didn't have the exact ones I wanted, but I bought a pair anyways, because you can always return them, right? No, at Pants Town you can not return things and get your money back. I was offered store credit for my cash purchase. They lady who said she is the owner informed me "We just put up this sign" The sign stated that returns would be given in the form of exchange or store credit only. I told her very politely that I did not think it was fair to only offer store credit, and a nosy customer stepped in and told me that "it was store policy and they have the right to refuse service to anyone. After I asked him if he worked there, and found out that he did not, and was in fact just being nosy and interfering with my conversation, the customer informed me that his uncle was a Ventura County Deputy Sheriff, and his uncle would come by and inform me of the same thing. The customer asked the store owner to use the business phone, and she gave it to him to call the police!! It is important to state again that I was being polite and just disagreeing with the new store policy, but to have a nosy customer come in to my conversation and call the police was not necessary at all Bottom line: Make sure you love what you buy before you leave! The staff at this store is horrible!!! I tried returning a hat that was to big, after buying 3 hats that said "small" but one hat out of the 3 was way to big! After trying to explain to the staff what was wrong with the 3rd hat, the lady working there actually started swearing at me!!! So I threw the hat, and walked out the door. I've been going to Pants Town since high school for whenever I need new clothes for work or for casual wear. This was my first time visiting the new location on TO Blvd and I do enjoy the location more than the previous one. As always, the owner is super helpful and willing to help you find what you are looking for. And sure enough, I walked out of there with the perfect fitting work jacket. Sure you can shop online, but nothing beats being able to try stuff on in store to find that perfect fit. The excellent customer service and, of course, supporting local business is always a plus and will keep me coming back. read more

I often find myself spending at least $30 bucks here buying t-shirts and pants. I end up with about 8 different items and they all last a long time as I can only make it here once a year. This place has been around forever and has the best deals on New Era ball caps. lots of choices with all your favorite teams in different colors and styles. read more

Honestly I mostly come here for the plain colored shirts you know since they're cheap, but this is about the third time I've pulled up to the business where they aren't open even during times they're scheduled to be open, unless if I walk in mid day they're closed, I've gone when they were supposed to be open, waited thirty minutes than left and now I pulled up an hour before the apparent close time and it's not open, even in a new location, pretty frustrating read more

This store is the WORST. Terrible RETURN policy. You can only get an exchange and you have 7 days to return. I bought something yesterday and returned it today and they didn't take it back complaining that it looked worn. I had the pants less than 24 hours and they itched my daughter, so I returned them. First off, let me tell you that this store has gotten much more expensive over the years, especially since they moved. I came in 5 days ago to buy a pair of dickies for $32!!(not to mention you can buy then online for $20). I needed a green color for a fire department I am currently part of. I was told by the lady if it wasn't the right color I could bring them back and exchange them or receive store credit. They ended up being the wrong color so I went to bring them back and she would not take them because the tags were off of them. I had the receipt and everything but she wouldn't exchange or give store credit because the tag was off. I have never heard of a clothing store doing this. I started to question her and she began yelling at me infront of other customers. It was very unprofessional of her. I dont know if her or her husband are the owners but she was very rude to me. I will never recommend this place to anyone and I will actually tell my friends and family to never purchase anything from pants town.
