We love Papa Gino's pizza!! We do take out from the Londonderry location every couple of months! Always friendly staff and good food!

Papa Gino's has always been my favorite. The Londonderry location might be the best one around. Over the last decade or so I've found the service and quality has gone down at every other location I've visited. These were the nicest people I've come across at a counter service restaurant in a long time. From the guy on the phone, to the guy at the counter. Even the pizza maker wished us a good night on the way out. Everything was cooked perfectly. We ate in and the dining area was clean and tidy. Came here to eat a few slices with my wife after food shopping. Was literally the dirtiest dining room I've seen in awhile. Looked like a tornado came thru. No napkins in any dispenser. All the tables were dirty, seats too. The checkout counter had crumbs of the bottom of pizza and grease. There were two girls talking in the back on their phones while a long haired guy was hustling around doing the work of 4 ppl. Cooking, sweeping and cashier. The girls were obnoxiously loud and giggling while the other guy was grinding away. It was frustrating to watch. read more

I have to say the staff at the Londonderry location is always super friendly. The pizza is great when it is done right but can be a hit or miss when it comes to the toppings. Sometimes they just don't put enough on to make it worth the extra money. That being said I was pretty happy with the pizza I got last night. It was perfect! Ordered a small mushroom pizza with extra mushrooms. It came cold, no extra mushrooms. Papa Gino's had been my favorite pizza place. I'm no longer willing to pay $25 to have a small cold pizza delivered pizza without the extra mushrooms I paid for. Dordash lady on the other hand was very nice. Never disappoints! How can you not love Papa Gino's pizza, it is consistently fantastic!!! We stopped in and got a large cheese pizza (pic below) and the mozzarella sticks and toasted raviolis appetizers. The cost for all was about $32 and that included two fountain sodas. I love that the bottom of the pizza has that crispiness crunch and the edge had ample crust with the cheese blanket on top. I was sad to hear about some Papa Gino's are now closing. But this one is still going strong and the company still has the endorsement of being the 'official pizza' of the New England Patriots. So if you're driving through Highway 93, you could stop in and grab yourself a slice or a whole pie! read more

So delivery driver (door dash at the moment , probably because weekend and needed help) could not find my place. Long story short, he was calling me over and over. Did not know English... I called the store and the manager herself made my food again, and personally delivered it to me... Awesome service. And since then I just started picking up but the services equally awesome staff awesome cooks and I actually like the food just as much as the restaurant I paid four times the money for that I go to a couple times a week this location is the best. Ordered a large chicken bacon ranch pizza. $43+ delivered through grubhub. Very small amount of chicken and bacon on this pizza. Like maybe a chicken tender and 2 slices of bacon. Super weak. Absolutely not worth the money paid and very disappointed. read more

This Papa Gino's is located at the Londonderry Commons plaza on Route 102. I stop here for the thin crust pizzas, pasta dinners, salads, and sandwiches since it's convenient with plenty of parking. Whenever I'm hungry for pizza and pasta, I can stop in here on Sun-Wed nights for All You Can Eat Pizza & Pasta for $5.99 plus tax, which includes choices of cheese or pepperoni pizza slices and pasta (spaghetti or penne with sauce & breadsticks), a pretty good deal. The service here is good and all of the food that I've ordered from here comes out hot & fresh and ready in timely fashion. The pizza here is can be greasy, especially hot out of the oven. I enjoy their pasta dishes and their thick marinara sauce is very good, as are the cheese breadsticks, great for dipping. The Pepsi fountain drinks are self serve at this location. There is ample seating in the dining room. read more

So, after giving Papa Gino's a decent 3* review just a couple of weeks ago, I felt strongly that I should update my review given two new developments. First, I had been hearing some buzz about Papa Gino's going bankrupt and closing several locations. Then, I just happened to order a side of 8 meatballs (like I have previously done on several occasions) just yesterday. They were probably one of the worst meatballs that I ever had anywhere! The little bit of sauce provided with the order was overcooked and too thick and burnt tasting. I am thinking that mgt.might be slipping in quality of food at this point. Pretty sad ! read more

Hand tossed crust is the perfect balance just like an Italian/American pizza should be. The flavor of the sauce is deep and mouth watering. Papa Gino's pizzas are the best I've ever had! (And I consider myself a pizza connoisseur, I'd eat it everyday if I could) This particular pizzeria is clean! The staff are friendly and helpful. Worth a sit down dinner date, take out, or delivery! I like papa Gino's pizza in general, the other dishes not so much. I find everything else either skimpy or no better than the frozen meals I could microwave at home. That is not why they only get one star. The reason for that is that we usually only order delivery after work. It used to be prompt and hot. Now I find that they've started using Door Dash for their deliveries. I've never, ever had what I consider good service from them or any other food delivery service. They always leaves the worst impression. I assume that's because the pay is low and they probably over-book their drivers. Last night was a new low. Apparently they now do contactless delivery, apparently without notifying the customer. If it's PG or DD that's falling down on the job there I don't know or care. They're working for PGs, not me. Don't ever let the restaurant try to tell you otherwise. Last night I got a text that said the driver was "close". It was already 20 minutes late and that was after the text that said it was on it's way and gave an updated delivery time. Twenty minutes after the almost there text (we were long since frustrated at the time, PGs is literally a mile away) I decided to check the tracking site link they sent at the begining. Our food had been delivered 20 minutes ago and was sitting on the front porch!! I know for a fact that the girl who delivered it did not knock, ring the doorbell, or even step on the porch. If she had the dogs would have alrted and run to the door the instant her foot hit the step, that's what they do. Angry is understating our state of mind afterfinding the ice cold food. I called PG and was told it wasn't up to them who delivered, it was a corporate mandate. They did refund the meal, though. I tried to find contract info for door dash but they don't publish a customer service number...HUGE red flag. I can't recommended using PG delivery service until they go back to staff drivers. No excuses. Late cold food left on the porch is not acceptable, ever, for any reason. And as I said I have problems with these services more often than not. I do recommend calling PGs if you want take out, but ask who's going to deliver it. If they don't tell you it's a direct employee say thanks but no thanks, I'll go elsewhere. read more

I ordered food from here tonight the gluten free pizza was awful it wasnt cooked my veges and cheese were cold i also ordered the sm party platter the chicken was awful i didnt eat it it looked uncooked didnt want to get food poisioning the food over all was terrible we soent 71.00 here and i wont be back again im alset with the derry one because of the same reason but i good food poisioning from their pizza which was prob contaminated with raw meats wont be back again EVER!!!! read more

Absolutely pathetic performance on a recent Friday night. We ordered online, and the confirmation said our order would be ready at 5:59 p.m., which is about when I arrived at the shop to pick up our pizza. I walked out with our food at...6:23 p.m.! And, to add insult to injury, the pizza had been ready, the teenager at the counter just forgot about me. This shop has serious business problems. Not recommended. read more

Best pizza place in the Derry/Londonderry area (I'm looking at you Papa Gino's Derry). This should not be taken as a ringing endorsement of Papa Gino's as a whole because there are negative things (to be written shortly) I can easily think of so bear with me. I've eaten a lot of different pizza from all around the US and globe (NYC, Chicago, Neapolitan, etc) and compared to them Papa Gino's does pretty well. The bread/dough is to me that all important and often overlooked factor in pizza making, which Papa Gino's does right. The bread dough is developed so it has a nice yeast flavor and it is also nice and chewy. They use semolina flour when cooking it in the oven which adds a bit of crunch and flavor too. The sauce layer is thin and doesn't overpower you with extra spices or ingredients. The cheese is good quality too and has a nice tang to it. Yes, Papa Gino's is known for bad staff, corporate style management, late deliveries, forgotten food, inconsistently made food, etc. but that is not all this review covers. One should not ignore the bad at all, however, this review covers a broader swath of factors than just the negatives from OTHER Papa Gino's. In summary this review covers this particular Papa Gino's and their ability to mend any issues that arose (management customer service, 5 stars), and the overall food quality especially when considering other options in the area (3 stars), and value for the cost (4 stars). I am disappointed other local places do not seem to be able to make pizza of a decent caliber as I much prefer supporting non-corp chains, but it is what it is. read more

Different than I remember from my youth. I recently visited the Papa Gino's off of Nashua Road in Londonderry and was pleasantly surprised to find the place clean, well lit, and the service very good. The pizza is simple, the perfect level of greasy, and you can order it by the slice. A decent by-the-slice place is worth keeping around. read more

We order from here cause my daughter likes the chicken Alfredo. Tonight I thought I would try an Italian sub. First they told me they have no pickles then they forgot to put my cheese on the sub. I had many visits before this one which were 3-star or less. This visit however I was greeted by name when I walked in the door. My pizza came out of the oven right on time and the staff behind the counter greeted me with smiles. While I was eating a girl was going through cleaning the tables but before starting she asked if it was okay that she was cleaning around me while I ate. I hadn't thought anything of it but the fact that she asked really made me think how on top of things they were. We had an "issue" with the Concord location and the regional manager nicely had us set up for a pizza at this location. The pizza was fantastic, the service was quick and friendly. The blonde girl i had as my cashier was very warm and friendly, the staff seemed to be having a good time at work which created a fun atmosphere, and i was told to "have a nice day" by at least three different people. Online order arrived 65 min after submitted. Not the first time. Delivery was scheduled for 1:30 PM. Called restaurant after 15 minutes and was told 'it just went out for delivery'. Delivery arrived 20 minutes after the phone call inquiring where my order was. They probably placed my order in the 'pick up' queue and forgot about it. Order was not fresh upon delivery. Left feedback on website, 3 days later no response. Have been regular customer here for 18 years. I will never eat at this nor any papa ginos establishment again. read more
