I'm someone who almost always orders extra cheese but I'm glad I didn't because they load their pizzas up with cheese. The taste was solid, the cheesiness and thickness of the dough slightly reminded me Little Caesar's. The reason for 3 instead 4-5 is because I called in my order and they never made it. So we had to wait a while for them to make it and no apology was offered. Not everyone wants to use DoorDash and the like to place to go orders, especially in a city where there aren't many restaurant options in the first place. I'm not interested in signing up for yet another service I'll hardly use. My next issue is that they didn't have their advertised stuffed crust because they hadn't gotten their order in. So that means the dough isn't made in house, which isn't necessarily a horrible thing but it was unexpected. The business just opened so there are things that (I guess) haven't been worked out on the inside since there were empty pizza boxes just laying on the front counter. There were a couple of tables set up for dining in but you could tell they are still working out the kinks (hopefully). Overall, there aren't many restaurants in Oakland so we're grateful they are taking a chance on a steadily growing city. I'll certainly return to get pizza whenever I'm in the mood and I'm looking forward to trying out their other menu options.
