A few weeks ago we ordered takeout from this Papa Johns location and they were over an hour late. Fast forward to today, we received a coupon in the mail apologizing for their tardiness and giving us a free large five topping pizza on them. I ordered online, scheduled a time to pick it up, and called as I was leaving the house. The pizza was ready. When I arrived I was happy to see that they're only letting one customer in at a time (the stores are super small to begin with) and I was given my pizza right away. I still tipped, and they seemed really surprised and thankful. Since people are always so quick to judge if something is not perfect, I thought it would be nice to give this store a shoutout and thank them for owning up to their mistake and striving to be better. This is the worst Papa Johns location in the area. My roommate and I ordered pizza, paid online and it showed up aN hour late, the tracker online said it was delivered and when we called to inquire we got disconnected twice! My card was charged $20 and we thought it wasn't coming until luckily it finally did, very disappointing delivery experience. This store has went to a centralized order system. The associate spoke very broken English. I asked her to repeat my order and there was a mistake. I was then put on hold multiple times while she attempted to call the store. She was getting no answer to her calls. She put me through to the store directly and they answered and adjusted my order. Our order was an hour and a half late. Food was ice cold. The kid delivering couldn't even provide the correct credit card slip to sign, which meant I was not authorizing a tip on someone else's card. I try to be empathetic being a service industry worker myself but this is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this particular store. It's always crazy wait times and comps or credits. The pizza was made like crap (see photos) and because it was cold when we got it the garlic knots were tough and GREASY. So unhappy. Ordered from them the other night took them a hour and thirty minutes it said delivered found out that they delivered to the wrong place. This Papa John's was a bit of a disappointment. Not because of the taste but because of the lack of service. I ordered my food and was told I would be called when my food was ready. I stepped outside and told the guy to let me know and I would come back in. What a mess. After placing our order online, we got a call from the store that they were out of pepperoni. What? You're a pizza place that is the most common topping. Whoever does the ordering needs some serious training but whatever, we decided to pick a different topping. Got the email that it should be delivered in an hour. Fine. I understand that it's a Sunday night. After an hour and the app still in a "boxing" status, gave the store a call to double check the order. We were told that our pizza was still sitting in the shop and they were busy. Great.. hung up but then called back right away to just cancel the order for then we were told it left five minutes ago which was obviously a flat out lie. Ten minutes later we get a call from the driver that he just left the store and he is on his way to our house first and that they only have four drivers. You need to hire more people!!! After finally getting to our house and go to take the first slice out, it is so cold we had to microwave our pizza right out the box. What poor service to be serving cold people to people and we were the first stop!!! And as minor as it is but just to top it all off, our brownie we ordered wasn't even cut into pieces.
