I'm giving this Papa John's location five stars. Simply based on the customer service. Typically, I am subjected to less than stellar service from staff members. Almost every time I go out to order food at a restaurant, anywhere, in the states. It's not the greatest thing to contend with, but it's not a huge deal either. I get used to the below average treatment/unkind energy, and rightly will never appreciate it. I received exemplary service from Paul, the shift lead supervisor on duty on NYE. To me, he is a likable standout. Really worthy of the uplifting and high marks. I don't take these types of matters lightly. The pizza was yummy, but of course. Their menu selections are not bad at all, and rarely disappoint. I got a super deal on an extra large, one topping pizza. I chose square cut slices. I paid for half of the order using Papa Dough that had accumulated in my rewards account. The pie was already low priced, for $10.99. What a steal and a WIN! I'm stoked!! read more

Ordered pizza online with delivery. Once the driver arrived, the most awkward, unnatural & flaky attitude: said a normal nice "hello" upon opening the door, *no reply*, she handed over the pizza and I said "thanks so much" and again no reply, just a blank look and silence. Ok...?? Not sure where people's manners and good sense have gone, it's nowhere anymore. Maybe she was a robot lol (jk), but overall just a weird interaction. Pizza was ok for a quickie. I always order from this location and always have exceptional service, but this time, for the first time ever for me, it was delivered by door dash. When they got to my home, rather than following the directions and going through the gate and bringing my food to the door, they left it on the ground just outside the gate. Fine, whatever, I went right out and got it because I was assuming they couldn't find our address because it is a duplex and very common. But because they put on the ground and left the driver also left behind the $20 cash tip I had for them. I guess too bad for them. read more

My all time favorite delivery pizza. Especially now that they have stuffed crust. They usually have decent deals. But delivery fees are kind of extreme now when you have to also include a tip, so I would suggest you just do carry out if that is an option for you. read more

The customer service is Good, the pizza we ordered as takeout was Amazing and then we ordered a pizza for delivery a short while later and the Quality of the pizza left something to be desired and the amount of toppings was not as full as before and all the extra fees was a shock, we didn't understand what all the extra fees were for besides the delivery fee which was only one of the fees . The Quality is better if you order when you get there and then takeout for r yourself. read more

Where do I start? Not only was I unable to order through the app/website and forced to resort to Grubhub to delivery your own pizza, but I watched the GPS as our GH driver sat at your location for over 30 minutes, not even leaving your store until the order was already overdue. Super awesome. We had ordered the new stuffed crust pizza, and bacon-covered cheesesticks. I live no more than 3.5 miles from the PJ store, but apparently even in the 80°+ weather, that was enough for our food to arrive COLD and RUBBERY. You couldn't even tell we requested our pizza to be "well-done;" what a joke. Was it ever even placed under a heat lamp while it waited? Because that would have been nice, at least. It was literally the worst pizza I've ever had delivered. In addition, especially with COVID cases on the rise again, there was absolutely no form of seal or protection for the food other than the box... no sticker, label, tape, or otherwise to ensure us our food was not tapered with. WTH are you even doing? To top it off, our highly intelligent GH driver, "Jada," thought that putting the food directly in front of the door so I literally had to use the door to shove the order out of the way to gain access to our porch was a sound idea. Rude, and just plain stupid. This isn't our first bad experience, either. Our very last order was SO LATE that our PJ driver apologized and left a coupon for 50% off our next order. At least the pizza was HOT! Unfortunately (even after forgetting to use the coupon last night), I won't be able to redeem the coupon as I will never order from PJ again! Your poor business management, awful service, and nasty food seems as though a change in operational staff is required. Dissapointing at the very least, especially for your outrageous prices. Got pizza here several times but I stopped because of all the rats running around in the front and side of this location. I informed one of the employees and she just shrugged it off. As for friendliness, needs improvement. Quality of pizza/cheese sticks, not consistent. Different each time. As for cleanliness, needs improvement as well. read more

This was the worst pizza I have ever had! Not only did the delivery take 2 hours to get here, the cost of one pizza was $42!!!! The sauce sucked and the toppings were very limited. Use to love coming to this pizza place, Not anymore! I've always been treated with kindness and a willingness to make sure we were happy. Tonight I called because they had not put in some bbq sauce we ordered when we arrived to pick up our online order. When we got home we discovered we had pizza sauce cups. So I phoned and asked about it, at first I was told they would bring it out to us. However after a short time the GM got on the phone and told me I had ordered it that way on line, so the mistake was mine! When I explained that I had not ordered it on line, he told me yes I had, and he would text me a picture. I told him I had my confirmation e mail and could prove I had not. Very disappointed in this pizza. This is the second time that I have ordered from Papa John's (Gresham) and had the pizza have very little toppings. I ordered 2 medium 2 topping pizzas and they both had a very small amount of toppings. The slices are small as is and then to have such little amount of toppings is just ridiculous. read more

I used the website to order a delivery for my team at work. We only get half hour lunches, so I ordered ahead for a 4 o clock delivery. At 4:30 my pizza arrived...just as our lunch ended. I was not informed that it would be late either by email or by phone. Never had this problem with Pizza Hut. read more

The female manager on duty 3/9/15 - 7:45 timeframe was terribly rude. We had a coupon for a free pizza and she proceeded to tell us that we should have called it in, not placed an online order. Nowhere on the voucher did it state it needed to be called in so it would seem perfectly acceptable to order in any fashion most convenient to the customer. Then when we waited beyond the projected time, when they finally checked in with us, it was on the shelf waiting. When we inquired about it, she got a look on her face and in a 'tone' stated, "it's only been there like 2 minutes". This wouldn't be the first time that we have had pizza that sat there as we waited so it was a fair question. It's general business to treat the customer as an important part of their business. We ordered once a while back and it took a long time to deliver beyond the estimated wait time and I was quite hangry. Then several weeks later I got a voucher in the mail apologizing for the long wait and an offer for a free pizza. I ordered again tonight and the estimated wait time was 60-75 minutes. Fair enough it is Friday night, dinner time. I was so surprised when it arrived in only 25 minutes ! Extremely disappointed with the quality of pizza we got last night. We ordered a XL chicken garlic pizza that was short on tomatoes maybe 10 little cubes on the whole thing, gray artichokes (it's never came with artichokes before) they tasted sour. The other pizza was fine. But this was one of the lowest quality pizzas ever and I couldn't even take it back because it started snowing. On top of that when I asked them for some red peppers and plates they had so much attitude, and didn't even give me plates. read more

Absolutely terrible experience here! So I made an order of $24.24 and when the pizza guy showed up, i left him a tip to make the total amount equal to $26 (with the $4 delivery fee included) and a few days later i check my bank statement and saw i was charged for $28. I called Area manager up and asked them wtf was going on and why did the delivery driver tip himself an additional 2 dollars than what i gave him. They apologized and offered a free pizza and a refund of the $2. Which I saw as an insult considering they just tried to steal from me. So I demanded to see the receipt to see if they wrote over it or they just charged more than what the receipt said, but they magically couldn't find the receipt. in other words, he charged me extra and threw the signed receipt away. I told them that they will either refund me my money, or ill go through the bank and say it was a fraudulent charge (which it was), and they of course gave me the refund to avoid the bank and the repercussions that could have followed with it. we walked across the hotel parking lot to order/pick up a pizza. one of the best choices we've made on our road trip. our medium pepperoni / sausage /mushroom / jalapeno pizza was wonderfully cheesy, with the right amount of sauce, and plenty of ingredients. we only wish the papa john's at home could be half as good as this one! read more

The pizza is always pretty good. It is what it is, meaning it's not gourmet food or anything fancy. But it's a little better than some of the other chain pizza joints out there. The delivery sometimes takes a while, but that might just be because I tend to order it in the late afternoon during rush hour. I've never had any problems with them at all. read more

I have always liked Papa Johns. I called in the other day to order a thin crust pizza and specifically asked for garlic sauce to be put into it. (I guess they don't put garlic sauce into thin crust pizzas.) The lady on the phone told me that they put it into all their pizzas and I requested she make sure it go into mine. Nevertheless, when the delivery guy showed up at my door there wasn't any sauce in the pizza.
