Mohammad is a terrible manager. I never got my order or my refund. When I went to the location I asked for a refund and was told that I could not get that until the manager comes in. After speaking with the manager the next day he said he would contact me on Monday and it is now Wednesday. Well, the last time I went here and ordered that "Epic Stuffed Crust" pizza, the middle of the pizza was literally raw. You couldn't pick it up without it falling apart and it wasn't at all hot. I tried calling the store but nobody ever picked up. I filled out an email survey and at the end there's an option to get contacted by the store manager - never heard from anyone. A week or so later I got an email asking if anybody from the store contacted me and it "apologized" and said someone would contact me. Nobody ever did. That was about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I guess since they don't care, I won't care to go back. Problem solved I guess. Good job! read more

I really don't like how tips were added to my credit card bill. I ordered on the app and went to this Papa John's location to carry out myself. I agreed to the amount to pay on the app. I received an email receipt showing what my overall total is. After checking my credit card bill, I noticed an extra $2 was added. I'm guessing it was added as a tip. I understand some people would not argue or say that an extra $2 tip iis not that big of a deal. But for some people, with tight budget, it is. Let me start with the positive; the pizza was fresh and tasted pretty good. The base is fluffy and the cheese melted nicely. Unfortunately that is where it ends. I ordered the $40 NY style cheesesteak pizza + olives, what I got was a Cheese pizza with the slightest hint of meat (on some slices, not all) and no olives at all. The worst part is there was "some" meat, but it was soo miserly it was as if the restaurant wanted to stiff me.... "MORE? YOU WANT MORE?" "Please sir, I am starving!"... He said he would have to pass my number along to upper management then hung up on me before I even got a chance to give him my number. Every Friday night I stop in for the last couple of years to pick up pizza for movie night with my family. My 11 year old is very picky and enjoys that Papa John's doesn't burn the pizza. This location has been very consistent. It got to the point where I started seeing the same person at the front regularly and he always greeted with a smile and great disposition. It's not much but it's great to have consistent positive encounters especially when so much of picking up good feels transactional. Do not order online. Call them and make them give you the Customer Service you deserve. If anything goes wrong like it did with me you'll spend an hour on the phone speaking to multiple different people to finally get a customer service number. The pizzas are very tasty and always plenty of cheese, which for me is a must on a pizza. The Papa John's Pizza location on Newhall is near my home and I have found that going there the price of the pizza is probably about half the price as getting it delivered. By picking it up you can grab sodas and an incredible brownie dessert they make. The price of the pizza, sodas, and brownie is about the same when picked up as just the pizza when delivered. The quality is very good and a good deal when picked up. The extras they charge to deliver is to me a total rip off! Buyer beware! read more

We have ordered pizza for delivery many times from Papa John's and they have been consistent on every order. What's in a pizza anyway? Some dough, some sauce, a little cheese and of course the toppings. Point is, it is not rocket science and you have to work hard to screw it up. We like Papa John's Pizza because they have the thin crust option. We are not big on big dough and love the crunchy thin crust option. Papa John's also lets you customize your pizza. That is the way we like to roll. We like to do it "our way". Our go to is pepperoni, bacon, extra cheese, no sauce on thin crust. It is really pretty darn good. Order online is easy and delivery is fast. Papa John's is not cheap, perhaps a step down from independent pizza shops but for a large pizza house, they make some good pizza. Horrible experience at this place last night, I was craving pizza after work so decided to visit this location. First, we walked in and weren't even acknowledged, we straight up waited around 5 m to somebody come and say something but not even that. We get the pizza after 20 minutes and it's full of cheese with barely food in it, and of course it looked good, barely toppings but okey I will take it. On the way back to my house I stared picking on my pizza because I am starving and the pizza has no tomato sauce !?? Seriously? Alfredo sauce was for my husband, I don't like Alfredo sauce. I was pissed at the time. However, I said maybe I am just hungry, I start eating and I find a piece of plastic in the pizza... !!!!! You kidding with me !!??? I waisted my time, my money, I was hungry, and by the time everything else was closed to get food. Horrible place, horrible ambiance, horrible service, horrible food.
