It's Saturday evening on a holiday weekend and the place was pretty busy. People continued to come in and pick up to-go orders and all the booths were full. Family owned and the owner even stopped by our table to let us know what he makes fresh, like the meatballs and lasagna. So maybe I gotta come back and try that. My meal for a slice of cheese pizza, small salad and a ginger ale was $8 which is a DEAL! I can tell the locals frequent and Zephyrhills is a less developed part of Florida in comparison to like a Wesley Chapel so I feel like you gotta give some perspective. It's a family vibe and the servings are plentiful and the service here is probably the first thing I noticed. Everyone is super friendly, for a small joint, they'll bring your food out piping hot if you're dining in and as I mentioned, the chef will have a chat and check in on you which is way more than I can say about a lot of places. The pizza was okay. I wasn't a fan of the crust and I'm someone who looks forward to the crust. I found it to be flavorless. I did like the crispy bottom and how it held up to a fold. The salad was fine, and the dressing was a standard Italian. Nothing to write home about but the eggplant parm was a lot of food. You could easily get three servings from it. I think the sauce was delicious, although just a tad on the salty side for me. I liked the spaghetti, it was al dente and for me was the only thing with texture on the plate. I thought everything else ate like soft food and I personally like different textures when I eat so while the flavor was good, it was just a lot of melted cheese and sauce and I wasn't really sure when or if I was getting a bite of eggplant. If I went back, I'd ask what's made in house and give it a try. If you're not too much of a food snob like me and can enjoy food that's giving home cooked vibes at a great value, then this place delivers.

We decided to try out this restaurant and we ordered two pizzas for takeout. The first one was just cheese and the second pizza was pepperoni and sausage. I thought that they were ready relatively quick, and it was reasonably priced. I thought the food tasted pretty decent. Definitely not the best pizza I've ever had, but definitely pretty good. I would likely order from this establishment again in the future! I would definitely be interested in trying out their buffet as well. It seems like it would be very economical to do so.

My child got trampled over by elderly people when trying to reach for a slice of pizza. The restaurant is too small for that amount of folks to be honest. There is a rush at dinner time starting around 4-5p so people just stand waiting at the door to pay to start eating. You can order at the register items not on the buffet bar but the staff get confused bringing the cooked for out to you. The pizza was ok tasting and the indoor experience wasn't the best. We probably won't be back.

That means, nothing even comes close for the price, it's not upscale fine dining. It's a wonderful place to go with friends and family to have a great meal super service and no rush. Taking price out of the equation, it would be four stars for sure. Our bruschetta as my picture indicate it looked great, tasted even better. We both had chicken marsala over pasta. This was genuine chicken marsala. Not foo-foo in any way, and very generous portions. Add fresh, prepared for us. Finally, hats off to our server, Sherry. I hope I spelled her name correctly, she was wonderful, patient and got everything perfect. Plus, she checked on us often. We will be back soon, for sure.

Waited a few minutes for waitress to come get drink order. Came back at 5:25 with waters and took our orders. 15 minutes later she brought out five salads and one soup. At 6:20 she came back to table and said sorry for the wait. Kitchen had lots of pizzas to do?!?!? We ordered pastas dishes, one small pizza and one veal parm. Do they only have one oven? Food arrived at 6:30. It was very good but the wait for it was unacceptable. People that came in after us had eaten already and left. The owner or supervisor should have come over to explain delay. Our bill was $93.04 for three of us.

I went back last night, which was Thursday and decided to dine in. It is a small family owned restaurant and the decor is very simple and plain. But the restaurant is clean. Upon entering, there is a sign for you to see yourself. I found a booth by the window in the server greeted me promptly. I ordered a glass of wine water in the small order of garlic bread. Those items came very quickly. The garlic bread was basically a store-bought roll with Italian herbs and butter that was toasted. It was not very appetizing. You can see in the picture that I posted that I flipped the bread over to show that is a basic bread roll. My Andrea, I ordered the chicken Parmesan, which came with your choice of soup or salad. I chose the soup which was Italian wedding soup. The soup was hot and the broth had flavor, but the pasta was overcooked it almost disintegrated in my mouth. The chicken Parmesan took a little while to come out. The server did apologize and admit it her small error on why it took so long. I did thank her for her honesty and she was super apologetic. Everything else she did for me with stellar. Once the chicken Parmesan came out, it did smell amazing, but it lacked any type of flavor, the chicken and breading tasted like it was frozen prior, once they baked the dish the cheese was melted on top perfectly. Upon cutting and tasting the entree is where all my disappointment come. The sauce was subpar, and the chicken was lackluster. The best part about the dish was cheese. The side of pasta it came with marinara on top with even less flavor than the chicken Parmesan. I really do love supporting small businesses that are local but I just can't see myself coming back here. I did decide to leave the server a little bit over 20% especially since she owned up to her own mistake about why the entrée took so long.
