We got delivery so no ambiance and no picture sadly because the pizza was THAT good I ate it all before getting to the review! So I got the BBQ chicken pizza and yes was delicious. I noticed that the chicken tastes like rotisserie chicken ya I know weird lol but rather than that crappy frozen tasting chicken they use in other places, this tastes like hood quality chicken. Also the breading OMG love it! I've never tasted another pizza joint that uses pizza breading like this. So overall YES 5 stars and o have a new go to pizza place in Tampa! read more

Its a New York style pizza. Dont complain about the thin slices. You just look silly. (:P) I wanted something quick for my lunch break. I was going to grab a 2 slice pepperoni combo, but they only had 1 slice of pepperoni left. The lady behind the counter offered to make a fresh one, I was hesitant at first, but they said they would have it done in about 10minutes, the owner and I sat and chatted while I waited. Nice guy, a family guy. Not long after sharing stories with the gentleman, WHO GOT FRESH PIZZA?me!THIS GUY! About 10 months ago, I came to Westshore Pizza on a Sunday evening wanting some pizza slices. I was informed by the worker there that they don't serve individual slices despite there being a menu board displaying daily deals promising 1-2 slices and a drink. Huh. I promptly left. Fast forward to today and there has been a 180 in customer service. The gentleman behind the counter was telling all of their specials including 2 slices of pizza and a fountain soda for only $5! Normally , this would be $7 on other days which is comparable to Taste of NY Pizza which is on the other side of the AMC Highwoods 20 theater. I took the special and they heated the slices while I got my fountain drink. It is Pepsi based so they have Pepsi, Mountain Dew, and Dr. Pepper flavors. The pizza slices were roughly the same size as Taste of NY. The cheese/sauce were a bit more robust and the level of "doneness" was 10-15% more which I liked. Sometimes TNY is a bit underdone imo. Now, Westshore and TONY are a bit behind Fratelli's and Eddie/Sam's but for a brief meal is more than enough. Id give it between 7.5-8 /10. (Taste of NY - 7/10). There is dining space and seats for 12-15 people. Unlike TONY, each table doesnt have its own cheese/red pepper shakes and napkin dispensers, but that's a small nitpick. Thankfully for me, they are open Sundays till 9pm. Closed Mondays though. Overall: A solid place for a quick meal. read more

(I forgot to:) After reading the less-than-favorable reviews, it appears delivery orders haven't been well received (no pun intended). I have never sat inside to eat or had the food here delivered; I've always walked inside to order takeout. The interior is small, clean, & consists of approximately 8 high, round metal tables w/ red padded stools. There's now one lower table as well. Two vertical refrigerator cases hold bottles of water & individual sodas, as well as 2-liter bottles. On the counter is a soda machine w/ ice dispenser. (See pics.) The menu @ this time consists of 3 types of wings, 4 salads, 3 hoagie/grinders, 3 cheesesteaks, 2 baked sandwiches, calzones, strombolis, 12 types of NY style pizza (16" & 18" = $11.99 to $19.99), 4 toasted deli sandwiches, five 100% Angus burgers, 7 baked dinners (ex. spaghetti, ziti, ravioli, lasagna, & parmigiana), 10 appetizers & sides, 4 desserts, & miscellaneous beverages-- sodas & water. NO beer or other alcoholic beverages are available. Is it the best NY pizza in the area that I've eaten? No. Is it worthy? Definitely! Ordered Uber eats delivery. Ordered six hot wings six barbecue wings one 18 inch pepperoni pizza and one antipasto salad. The pizza had almost no sauce cheese had no flavor it was slightly under baked and the pepperoni was OK. I actually threw the rest of it out because it just wasn't great. The barbecue wings were very good. The hot wings were good as far as wings but not so good on the hot side. My dining partner had to add a significant amount of hot sauce. The salad was fresh however like the pepperoni on the pizza the included meat had very little flavor to it for some reason. The vegetables were very very good. All in all I have to say for the money that we spent we didn't get very much. I've been to this location before and had a very good cheesesteak here so this was a bit of a surprise. read more

Absolutely love this place !! One of the few places that offer Pizza by the slice. The slices are huge and delicious. The owner Kevin is fantastic with the customers and runs a great business. There was a new employee working who cut the pies and made them slightly uneven. Kevin offered to throw in a third slice for free to ensure I got the equivalent of what the slices should have been. The restaurant is clean and offers good space to sit down and eat. I highly recommend if you're looking to grab a slice. read more

I just ordered a large pizza and salad from Westshore in New Tampa. I've been getting food from this shop since it opened 20 years ago. The shop recently changed hands and so has the quality. The pizza was burnt and for the price the salad was puny. I doubt I'll be back there since there so many choices in the area. It's a shame that a new owner can ruin an established business that previously had great reviews. read more

I ordered the meats pizza 18" pie with jalapeños olives and pineapple as well as extra cheese and sauce as add on's with a side order of garlic knots. this place hands down is the best pizza I've ever had in my life! talk about a foodgasm this place fucking delivered! my only regret is that I don't live out here I just travel here on occasion for work but this will definitely be a repeated place to come back for again and again for food! Word of advice: don't order delivery, go to the place and eat! I've had the pizza, garlic knots, and philly-- all are absolutely delicious when fresh! I suggest you go in and get a large cheese pie-- definitely the best in the area. It's a small place but has a good amount of seating. I've ordered delivery once and it took two hours to get to me when the original ETA was 40 minutes. Pizza definitely did not taste as good and we were obviously annoyed. read more

Fresh pizza that gets thrown back in the oven before being served to you, and discounts all the time my favorite is Fridays 2 slices, a drink, and cookie for $5 you can't beat it! The delivery service was great and even showed up before the estimated arrival time, but that was the last redeeming quality from this pizza place. The pizza dough was very generic and tasted like it came from a cafeteria (along with the toppings). I got BBQ wings (which were definitely not cooked in BBQ sauce) more like baked and then doused with sauce that literally overwhelmed my nose with the sweet/tangy sauce. I couldn't eat it. The $7 burger should be priced more like a McDonald's burger because that's the sort of quality it was: small overcooked patty painted with BBQ sauce without any toppings (i.e. lettuce, tomato, etc.) To be fair though, I missed seeing the option to add those condiments on the online ordering system. I also ordered a Greek Salad, but haven't eaten it yet. It looks like a generic salad. Don't be fooled by the toppings they offer either. The Greek Salad was supposed to come with all of the usual accoutrements, but failed to add the beets and cucumbers that they advertised came with the dish. All in all, a place I would never return to, or recommend to a friend (maybe an enemy.) read more

Great pizza at a great value, the salads are meal size and fresh with lots of toppings. Most of all, the customer service is superior! I ordered from uber, which I hate to do since service is unpredictable and cost is high. Also, they take a huge cut from business owners. Uber dropped the ball. Westshore's manager jumped in to make sure my food was delivered and even followed up to make sure I was happy. I am sad I am not in their delivery range typically, but I will drive and pick up to support this great local business. Oh, and, Great Pizza!! read more

The pizza is really good! Lots of choices for families/groups that want different things. I've been ordering there for a long time, but today I tried the gluten free pizzas for the first time. I was surprised how good they were. They offer gluten free made with some other kind of flour than wheat (I forget what he said it was), and another gluten free pizza made with a cauliflower crust. They were both great - the cauliflower one was a little crispier and the other gluten-free one was a little bigger and more filling; both have a thin crust. read more

Cons: Lasagna so cold upon delivery (5min away) that it wouldn't come out of the container to reheat; missing items from the order; and the worst - lack of customer service. Sorry, but offering to send the delivery guy back with the missing items doesn't make up for the subpar food in the first place. My $40 will go much further at another place next time. You can keep the oh so generous $5 credit offered in place of getting it right the first time. read more

She couldn't even look me in my face when she was responding to my questions. Told me a bold face lie that she could not accept my payment form and laughed while I was leaving the store. Haven't been to a Westshore Pizza in a couple years. (previously at the location in South Tampa). However, today, I stopped off at the Westshore in New Tampa. It was definitely not good like I remembered. Like most places lately, ingredients tasted cheaper than ever. The cheese was definitely cheap. Not like the old days. Barely any flavor. Such a waste of $$. I had pizza at Chuck E Cheese recently that was way tastier. Disappointment after a long work week, for sure. Not a good start to the weekend. read more

Quality has suffered lately, hot dishes no longer taste fresh. The reward program is not accepted at this location even though the corporate entity awards points for orders at this location. The new delivery service (SLICE) is neither convenient nor accurate. First the wrong order was delivered and they also let my dog out. I called and they came and picked up that order but told me it would be another 30 minutes before my correct order would be delivered. When I finally got the correct pizza it was burnt. I feel sorry for the person that got the soggy pepperoni pizza that sat in my kitchen for so long. It may be time to try another location. read more
