Good afternoon, wanted to share a shocking experience with Caprese Pizza House on County Line Road. I have been going there for few years and would even pick up cheesecake from there when I got Chinese next door. I ordered this Saturday night through the Slice app at 6:30pm, got the pizza around 7:45pm, pizza was good but later on when we went to eat the cheesecake it was horrible. I had to spit it out and it was so hard like it was old. They close at 8:30pm, closed on Sunday so I took the cheesecake back today. The owner was so rude about it me returning the cheesecake and how no one in 5 years has complained. I told him that I had been coming for years and he even worse saying it wasn't old and that I should have returned that night. i got the $10 back for the two slices, and left to never return. Everyone can have a bad shipment but to be so rude to a long time loyal customer is not something to forgive. read more

Improve the customer service and replace the manager. After placing a delivery and upon arrival, I realized they did not deliver a 2 liter soda. I paid the 4.99 for thr soda, which was on the receipt. The delivery driver told me to call the restaurant. A very rude young woman, on the managers advice, told me to pick up the soda myself. Even after explaining if I wanted to pick up anything myself, I wouldn't have paid for delivery. Under the manager's advice they offered me nothing else. Not a refund. Not a redelivery. Not a store credit. I informed them of this type of review. There are other great pizza places in the neighborhood. Their food is not worth the poor experience. read more

I do not know what the negative reviews are about. I really enjoyed my pizza. It was a New York style pizza just like I ordered, and I will get it again. The person who took my order was polite, and the restaurant was clean. The only thing I would say negative about my experience was there wasn't 500 posters from target with construction workers sitting on a steel beam eating lunch on a skyscraper. Eggplant parmigiana is dry, they thoroughly spared the spaghetti sauce and the garlic knots are bland. Fries bland. 2 stars for the decent pizza. After reading some good reviews of this pizza place, we decided to do a take away pizza order. We ordered on line and went to pick up the pizza. The first hint about quality/popularity should have been that on a Friday evening around 6:00 p.m. it only took 20 minutes for our order to be ready, and upon arrival, the place was empty. (Unlike the Chinese restaurant next door.) We did not feel comfortable in the parking lot either. It was dark out, but the restaurant sign was not lit, and the parking lot lighting was dim. Nor is the parking lot easy to enter. You have to make a right turn onto County Line Rd, then do a U turn to go back to the shopping center where the restaurant is located. Finally - the food. A great pizza may have made up for these negatives, but the pizza was simply not enjoyable. The pizza toppings were average, and the crust had an odd flavor. "Manager" said to request refund from customer service, customer service then said manager won't authorize the refund she told me to call customer service to get. That's just the skinny of the interaction and rudeness from the "manager". I've escalated to Slice customer service management (who services their online orders) and reported/disputed the charge to my Big Bank because I didn't receive it order. I love pizza so I'm always interested to try different places. Our friends recommended this place. We had the 16 inch sausage, bacon and mushroom build your own pizza. Not only was there very little sauce on my pie, but the sauce really lacked flavor. There was definitely extra cheese on my pie, & it was good-- just not great. Overall, my pie lacked the flavor I would expect from traditional NY Style pizza. After some researching, I now know that a "brick stove oven" uses coal. Artisan pizzas are often cooked in a brick oven, which uses wood. However, the crust was not an issue for me. Due to the sauce, I'm unsure if I'll try another pizza on my next visit. But I'll definitely return to reorder WINGS, which are offered in these flavors: traditional Mild, Medium, & Hot; Teriyaki; Lemon Pepper; Hot Garlic; Butter Garlic; Fresh Garlic Parm; & Volcano. The dining room offered just 4 metal tables (due to social distancing). It was sparse, but clean. Napkins were available on each table. At this time, all beverages are in cans & bottles in a floor refrigerator-- see pic. There are NO alcoholic beverages sold here. I wish the owners of this new business well, & I will return to reorder wings, try a burger, & eventually order a pasta, gyros, & a dessert. Still debating if I'll order another pizza. read more

Disclaimer: I'm a pizza snob/former New Yorker and am very torn between 3 or 4 stars. My family was in town visiting for Easter and wanted to indulge in some local pizza. This place is new so we decided to support small business and try it out this past week. We ordered two pizzas (a buffalo chicken and a plain pie), garlic knots and I had the large chef salad. The chef salad was ON POINT. Well worth the $8.99 cost for the size they offer and I'd order that again in a heartbeat. The garlic knots were also really good and tasted very close to what I know from back home. The pizza was alright though - seemed somewhat of a pan pizza that you'd find at a chain place like Marco's. Their online ordering is through an app called Slice and the standard time to wait is 30-40 min. Wasn't very busy when I went for pickup so I hope business increases over time. Again, they are new so please give them a chance. Not everyone has the same taste in pizza so this might be the place for you! I'll be back for the salad again. read more

I ordered a supreme pizza and eggplant parmesan sub with no cheese for my wife. The pizza came as ordered and it was very well put together and tasted good. The eggplant parmesan did not come as ordered. The put cheese on it even though I requested that they not. I called back to the store to let them know. After checking to see how the order was placed and that in fact I was correct the guy on the phone kept talking about giving me a discount and never asked if I wanted it remade and to get another one. After advising him that I needed it made correctly he agreed to make another one I could come get it. When I got to the store he gave me the correct sub. No apologies for making it incorrect. I then asked about the discount that he kept insisting that I take vs making me the sub the correct way. He stated that I would not get a discount on a future order even though my wife did not eat with the rest of the family because they messed up her sub the first attempt. The reason that was given was because they remade the sub. I was amused. I advised him that he remade the sub that they didn't make right the first time, he didn't do me any favors in fact it took more time for me to get the sub the second time and my wife didn't eat with the family. It was more of a hassle that was created for us than anything. This was the first time that I have ordered from here. I thought I would give the local store a chance since they are close to the house and I can get there in less than 3 minutes and the menu looked like it had a lot to offer. I only give two stars because the pizza was actually good. I am not sure I will be back. They could have given me as little as a 10% discount for my inconvenience and I would have been happy. But to tell me that there would be none after they insisted that was the route they wanted to go before I told them I needed a new sub and they never apologized for making it incorrectly in the first place. read more

This is my first time here as they opened 5 days ago. I gave them 3 stars in hoping for improvement. I bought a small extra pepperoni pizza and a meatball and cheese sub to take homeI'll start with the pizza. It looked good enough and I even check the underside of the crust to make sure that it was done enough. What it looks like they do is buy premade crust or it is done on racks and never touched the bottom of the oven. In the whole pizza there was not a crisp part anywhere. It's also really bread like. I did not get a pic of the meatball sub as it would not have done it justice. Immediately upon opening the foil I noticed 2 things. One that there was hardly any cheese on the sub but it was not melted all the way. There's plenty of meatballs on the sub but I am also wondering if these are also premade. They had no flavor except the cheese salt, pepper and garlic that I put on it. I ended up throwing half of the sub away. I really hope that they improve as we need a pizza place in that area. read more

Have been long awaiting the opening of this place as I drive by it almost daily. We ordered a 16" meat lovers pizza and an order of garlic knots. The pizza: the toppings are pretty good. To me, the crust was a little thin and chewy, but not bad. Sauce is on the sweeter side, which I enjoy. The garlic knots: unfortunately these were not good. They were quite dry and zero garlic could be found. The top was coated in butter, but it didn't make up for the rest of the knot. I'm hoping that since they are just getting started, that they plan to tweak some of their recipes. Plan to try again at a later date and hope to be able to adjust the rating better! read more
