Not sure what happened, but this location hass really gone downhill. The last chicken pizza we got, on thin crust, had crust as thin as a piece of paper. I'm not kidding at all. The toppings could have fiiled 1/2 cup total from a large pizza. The last two pizzas from here had similar issues. They used to be great but now I'm wary. I hope someone notices and gets them back on track. read more

I'm frustrated to have to leave this review, but I'm hoping that it'll catch the attention of management or the owner of this franchise. I frequent this location and always have a good experience, so this review is about a specific situation that has happened to me twice. The first time I chalked it up to a fluke, but last time it happened again and I felt compelled to say something. The store closes at 9. Last night, I pulled up at 8:40, the open signs were still on and I walked in. They greeted me and asked if I already had an order. When I said no, they said they were closed. I said, "don't you close at 9?" They said, "yeah." I responded, "so the hours are just a suggestion?" They said "uh, yeah." I left. As I mentioned, this is the second time this has happened. If they're going to stop accepting orders prior to closing so they can clean up the store and lock the doors right at 9, that should be made clear. Being that it takes them 5 minutes to make an order, it seems logical that you could still be able to get an order in right before closing time. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The sir who was working was SO UNPROFESSIONALLY RUDE. I bought a salad and then i went to go sit down on the bench and made me uncomfortable asking why im sitting there when paying Customers are allowed to and i was exhausted after my 8 hour shift. It was really off putting when i was trying to unwind after work after I bought my salad and said I could go outside when nobody was in the store. It was really hot outside and i preferred the air conditioning store. Went by the EDH store on my way home and have to say this is the WORST pizza I've ever gotten from Papa Murphy's. I bought three pies and the crusts look like they were pieced together after having been ripped apart. The toppings are thrown on with zero care. The group of teenage dudes behind the counter clearly need a manager to oversee what they do. I will not be back to this store. Glad I didn't tip them. read more

My wife was navigating through the app for the first time and made a mistake on the order when I showed up I saw the pizza wasn't what we normally get for us and our picky kids I let Tyler know who was the helping me at the counter that it wasn't correct and mistakes were made on our end he immediately corrected the issue with a new pizza. This Papa Murphys location hasn't always been great in the past, but I'm glad they've taken the criticism, and corrected the issues. My last few visits have been very pleasant. The boys working there are always very friendly and professional. The pizzas have been delicious, and so much better than they used to be. I've always loved papa Murphys pizza . I would always get the vegetarian pizza with garlic sauce i think it was the vegetarian garden pizza . I thought it was delicious. While the pizza is only mediocre at the edh location, I will limit my regular visits to a minimum because of this. The first pizza was a vegetarian and had all the toppings. The second and third time was missing a lot of toppings. I decided to try one last time and reviewed the pizza before buying it. It was half Hawaii and vegetarian. The Hawaii only 10 percent cheese. I ask them to add a little more cheese and was told that is all we add. It appears the young worker is only allowed to put certain amount of toppings and they are doing there job. The owner is the issue! I will never go there again. read more

We have a frequent mid-week takeout with Papa Murphy's. So easy to pick up on the way home. Ingredients are always fresh. The employees are friendly and personable. We typically order a salad, large pizza, and a tub of cookie dough. They do have deals and specials frequently so we will do that as well. For instance, the Jack o Lantern pizza. That was fun! Sent in my order thru the app. My vegetarian pizza had bacon and chicken in it; no big deal...I can wait while they make me a new pizza. But the food handling was disgusting. The young man working the register was wearing gloves, but taking his hat off and running his hands through his hair, handling money...then proceeded to make a pizza wearing the same gloves. I watched as the paper instructions fell in the floor...and then were picked up and placed on top of the pizza after assembled. We have enjoyed Papa Murphys pizza for decades. Unfortunately the franchise on Francisco does not meet the standard we have seen in the past. Tonight our order was not right. The thin crust pizza never was really done in spite of even longer times in the oven. The sauce was not right. When the pizzas were picked up there was a mess in the prep area. The staff was back in a work room and not at the counter to acknowledge that a customer had arrived. With the pizza never getting beyond doughy and the concerns re the mess we attempted to get through to management. The pizza was close to inedible. The phone tree said to punch "1" for management and it hung up. Calling the order number and asking for management they hung up on us 3 times. No matter how we tried to contact someone to actually deal with the issue we were never able to get through. We can overlook some of the issues knowing the tough times with Covid and getting employees but this was beyond what we ever saw in the early days of the pandemic. read more

The location is alright as long as your GPS takes you the short way instead of in a fat circle.lol The inside of the place is a bit dirty looking behind the counter, but that is to be expected when cheese is flying to make everyone's pizza during the dinner rush. The girl behind the counter was high though, I'm almost certain of it! She stared at us for a good 30 seconds after I handed her cash and then came to and realized I put the cash on the counter. We ordered a large half and half pizza with a cinnamon wheel ($13.25) and they were ready to go really fast which was nice. Taste wise, the pizza was alright... Pepperoni was better than the Hawaiian and I love me some Hawaiian! The cinnamon wheel was alright, not great, but not horrible. The staff is always great at getting orders correct, they are always helpful, and friendly. The atmosphere is clean and the trays of pizza ingredients seem always fresh. I am not really a pizza person per say- however; I really do love their thin, artisan crust- garlic, chicken, bacon, and artichoke heart speciality option. I think it's the best thing on the menu. Once I start with one piece, I literally have to have more. I probably could eat the entire pie by myself. If that doesn't sound good to you- Other pizza options are also very tasty. As an added perk- they are always offering coupons, discounts, and deals throughout the week. I recently ordered a large combination pizza from PM in EDH. I cooked it per the instructions. The pizza was greasy and stuck to the baking sheet which was provided by PM. I get the fact PM's is cheaper than other pizza restaurants, but in my case I wasted $17.00. I'm going back to the pizza restaurants that charge more for pizza. This was my first visit to Papa Murphys and my experience went beyond my expectations. I called to order and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I walked in, paid, and walked out. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that I could make the pizza. I usually order from roundtable or steves. Papa Murphys blows them away. Much higher quality of toppings, it's hot because it's straight from my oven to the dinner table, and it's super affordable. A 4 topping large was $13; compared to $30 at the competitors.
