The gelato is made in house, and I had a lemon which was light and refreshing. My husband had the dark chocolate gelato. He said it didn't have a heavy milk based taste and not really creamy but very chocolaty. The server for the gelato was very friendly and let me taste first. This one, however, not once... until now! I heard this location is on the younger side, hasn't been around for long. It looked very clean inside, had the usual Round Table décor and other amenities, and although smaller than what I'm used to, I liked it - felt cozy. It's familiar enough that you know you're going to find something you like, but they still manage to make it their own. The service deserves just as much credit. Everyone is friendly, welcoming, and makes the place feel comfortable without forcing it. Add in the atmosphere and it's just an easy place to enjoy yourself, whether you're grabbing something quick or actually sitting down for a while. Living around here, you get used to having limited options unless you feel like driving somewhere, so when a local place is actually this good, you want to see it stick around. And at first I wondered why is the feta in blocks instead of crumbles, but it was to match the cubed cucumber that made the salad refreshing. I also tasted the salmon entree and it was just fine.
