    Highly recommended.

Drinks are good. Atmosphere, typical bar. Food, Mexican. The experience comes from the friends and/or family you invite. The staff is accommodating. Highly recommend.

I came here with my coworkers after a night out because one of my coworkers said this place was great. They seated us at a table with a bucket next to it because water was leaking from the ceiling. Then I looked over and water was leaking above the ceiling in the bar area as well. We had a group of ten people that came here and most of them had already paid for parking so we decided to stay. Service was not good and neither was the food. I got the worst heartburn from the food and felt sick the next day. There's a lot of other good Mexican restaurants in the area that I would recommend before coming to this place. You've been warned...

The staff is always Awesome, friendly people, great Service, Yoilen, Adys, Ana are great service People. Always in good mood.

la comida es deliciosa,Yoilen, Adys y Ana son muy amables y amigables, muy buen servicio! Recomendado!!!!!

Happy Hour is from 3-7. $3.50 beers and $5 margaritas. There's no bites on the HH menu. Like most Mexican restaurants, they bring chips and salsa to the table. 3 different salsas. The salsas were brought in little 2 oz condiment containers for 6 of us at the table. The spice levels were on point, but we had to continuously ask for refills-- and they forgot a few times. The service was slow and we were one of the two tables there! After 9, the DJ arrives and the restaurant turns into a club like scene. Disco lights and fog machine... And more people start to arrive. There were even bathroom attendants like the clubs back in the early 2000s! No thanks, I don't need a spray of perfume and I can grab my own paper towels-- but thanks though. I didn't even know that people still did that! We order food. I order the tacos de bistec. The corn tortillas couldn't hold up and fell apart, which was disappointing. I did enjoy the grilled onions that were served on the plate, they added a nice touch to the tacos. Mojitos were certainly sweet and a generous amount of ice. Two sips and it's gone. There's a cocktail/drink/shot menu. Shots? Yes, please. There's a few to choose from. We order the green tea shots. We asked for the bills and as expected, gratuity was automatically added-- but beware, gratuity is also added for a check for 1.

    A shitty place

Ordered a vodka soda and charged us $12 they claimed that was an old fashion. Keep in mind martinis on their menu were $9. BEWARE!

This was the mold above the booth I was sitting in.

I went for happy hour and had the 5 steak tacos and a margarita. The food was ok, tiny tacos though. The margarita was really weak on tequila, it was mostly sour mix. The inside of the restaurant was really falling apart. The wall paint is coming off and there was a ton of mold all over and you can definitely smell it a funk inside. The awkward part was thet added their own 20% tip on our bill... and then there's another line to add another tip. I'd never see that before.

The origami ceiling, lively bar, friendly staff, unique cocktails, fun bathroom, and photo booth in the corner made for an unforgettable experience. My friend said it was the busiest he had ever seen the place, and it was loud. But we got some awesome drinks that I swore I could've taken pics of -- the lighting was a little crazy, so I think I ultimately changed my mind with that. One was the periscope which was a refreshing and summery gin drink... And I think I tried the naked and famous too because I like mezcal. I had already eaten so I skipped the restaurant the speakeasy's connected to, but I cannot wait to return to Houston outside of a Con so I can really go all out on exploring. I'm definitely adding it to my happy hour rotation--and it may end up being my go-to spot for American football. Really chill place. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

You can see their happy hour menu on their website. Greg (the bartender) is the absolute best! It was like he read my mind and brought me a drink right when I was going to ask for one on multiple occasions. This place is so spacious with plenty of seating! There's even the "Roxy Room" upstairs which you can rent out for any private events. For the food, you order at one of the food stands that you like and receive a text when it's ready to get picked up. I was so torn inbetween all the options that were presented to me, but decided to go with Blk Mkt Birria. Their birria tacos were great! There was something slightly spicy about them (maybe the tortilla since it was a literal red color?) so if you are SUPER sensitive to spice I wouldnt order these. They did have limited edition Birria Tamales which I just HAD to try. Honestly they were just a tad bit dry on their own but drenching it in the Birria consommé (which is what the consommé was meant for) it was great! I need to come back here to try all the other food vendors! I already know the bar is a vibe so I gotta see if each genre of food will have my mind blown :) Next time I come, I do wanna try Mad Dogs, the Pita-Ria, Seoulside, Bird Haus, or Cvche. But I only have one stomach so I think it'll take multiple times coming here to try all the food I want, but it's ok it's totally worth!

Well, it turns out, there was a World Cup soccer match going on. The place nearly cleared out after the game was over. Anyhow, when the place was packed it was very loud. But once it cleared out, not bad. Upon arrival I learned the hard way that it's open seating. I stood at the entrance for about 5 minutes and then was told to find whatever open seat I could find. We mainly went for drinks but decided "what the heck" and ordered food. The buffalo wings were good but not great. Same with the Marinara pizza. I was impressed with the size and the crust was pretty good. I suggest adding jalapeños to it. We also ordered a sushi roll (who knew you could order that and they just get it from Sushi on Post Oak next door). That roll was pretty good but also very pricey.
