This was my first time here, and Gabriel at the bar was awesome. He walked me through the layout, explained the different restaurant options and specials, and gave me the heads-up that Happy Hour runs every day from 11am to 7pm. It's also a great place to watch sports. Apparently, they've been a go-to spot for World Cup games, so shame on me for taking this long to find it. What a gem of a food hall!! With lots of food options to pick from, there's bound to be something for everyone! I love that they have all day happy hour on Tuesdays at the bar also! You can see their happy hour menu on their website. Greg (the bartender) is the absolute best! It was like he read my mind and brought me a drink right when I was going to ask for one on multiple occasions. This place is so spacious with plenty of seating! There's even the "Roxy Room" upstairs which you can rent out for any private events. For the food, you order at one of the food stands that you like and receive a text when it's ready to get picked up. I was so torn inbetween all the options that were presented to me, but decided to go with Blk Mkt Birria. Their birria tacos were great! There was something slightly spicy about them (maybe the tortilla since it was a literal red color?) so if you are SUPER sensitive to spice I wouldnt order these. They did have limited edition Birria Tamales which I just HAD to try. Honestly they were just a tad bit dry on their own but drenching it in the Birria consommé (which is what the consommé was meant for) it was great! I need to come back here to try all the other food vendors! Conservatory consists of a number of restaurants that you can order from. Food varies from fried chicken, birrias, bubble tea to sushi. There is a full bar in the middle. After ordering, you can seat at any of the open table. They will send a text when you order is ready for pickup. I tried the Birria Tacos with the dip. It was very tasty. It comes in 3s so plenty of food. Also ordered a side of guacamole. I was stuffed by the end. Did not have room of dessert. Would go back to try the other food stalls. Such a cool place. I remember this used to be The Roxy Nightclub way back when. Im telling my age now. Twelve restaurants in the pavilion and seating around and down in the main section. Lots to choose from. Sushi, wings, burgers, pizza, tres leches, smoothies coffee and fresh juices. It reminds me of the food park in Greenville. There are small table tops with qr codes to scan to order your food. You enter your phone number and they text you when your order is ready. You can also walk up to each station and order on the tablet. This place is a really nice size. It's well organized and spacious, with both a downstairs bar and an upstairs bar area. It looks like the upstairs space can be rented out for private events, which would actually be a great option if you're planning something special. Parking was decent. There's a full parking lot, and even on the weekend there was still plenty of space. You order food from the different food stands inside and can sit and eat wherever you'd like, which is convenient. We'd never been in this part of this strip center and had no idea all these little restaurants were here. We'll be back to try more things to eat and drink. The star of this show was the chopped cheese burger from Clutch City Grill, i ate half and brought the other half home to eat for dinner...yum! My wife got a child's portion of spaghetti and meat balls from Ciccio's Pasta, she should have gotten some salt and pepper or some seasoning because she thought it was bland. This has been my regular, go-to, spot, for about 6 months. Chill dining hall, and full service bar, that is open late, and has happy hour! The food options are great. There's about 6-8 different restaurants. Clutch City is my favorite (great burgers & fries). The drinks are good and the music is always on point! I dropped in for a quick lunch on Sunday, around 1:30 PM. I would say capacity was at 30% with the pouring rain outside. Found new places that had opened and some that had closed. My favorite here is still Seoulside Wings. I've had their wings at least 5 times and it's still consistently good. The soy garlic is my go to flavor. I'm disappointed with how the quality of this dining hall has changed so quickly in such a short amount of time, less than 6 months. The tables along the wall are all rocky, none are stable enough to leave a bottle of water on it. I tested four where my water kept flipping over as soon as someone leaned on one side. On top of that, most of the tables are dirty, not wiped down and so are the benches. Don't even get me started with the restroom, looks like they need more staffing here. I would reconsider dining here, felt uncomfortable with the dirty tables around me. I would opt for takeout next time if craving for food from one of the vendors here. read more

Found myself here again and I have to say I like this place. It's always clean, there's a good amount of space. Love the music. Stays open til 11 on weekdays. Easy parking as long as it isn't crowded. And the food selections are pretty good! I almost wish there was a slight bit more of variety, but I'm not sure what restaurant should be added. Came here for the first time the other day and omg what a gem of a place! 1. Beautiful layout and design in side. Upstairs is all of your food options and downstairs is the bar, some other food places and lots of seating! 2. The place was constantly being cleaned. I mean every 20 minutes or so our table was being cleared and wiped down. 3. Happy hour is from 11am-7pm. This is a great spot to stop if you're doing shopping or activities in Houston. If you're going on a first date and you need something casual, this place is great. I got the blanco marg and it was wonderful. 4. My friends and I ate at the Seoulside wing place but there are at least 8 places to eat and snack in here. From pita, to smoothies, tres leches to hot chicken, it's here's. This is such a cool food hall. Who would think that the club we used to all know and love would turn into a food hall. They resturants they have in there all looked good. They had a pretty good crowd. The hardest part was picking which resturant to eat from. I got a burger melt from Texas city grill.. I think that's what its called. It wasss soo good. Walked to this eating area from the Galleria for lunch on a Sunday early afternoon was nice. This was a neat place to go to had many food and drink options available. It was still early just after 11am when we got to this place. Theirs a burger place, a hot chicken place, a little Italian place, Birria, wok style dishes, and a place that looked like they sold flatbread. There's a cocktail lounge up top and a huge bar area below seemed like they could fix you up in the alcohol department. I chose to eat at the Wokker, I chose the Jalapeño Bites and a Build a Bowl Meal - Pad Thai Noodles as the base I didn't want kimchi as I am not a fan but it was supposed to have peanuts as well as a lime flavor. I didn't taste those flavors at all and the chicken tasted bland the lunch I chose wasn't bad all together it was good. The Jalapeño Bites were not awful they were rather tasty My daughter had the Cowboy Katsu she said it was amazing My husband had meatballs from Ciccio's he did not share them My son had Kickn' Chicken and Cheesy bread from the Pita Ria he said it was really good. My nephew purchased a wrap from Bird Haus he could only finish half of it he will eat the rest later or take it for lunch. My oldest had the Birra fries from Blk Market Birria and let's just say this could have fed all of us. We did enjoy this place would have been nice if all the restaurants on the map were there I would have loved to try La Taquiza. Try this place out plenty to choose from. How in the world did I not know about The Conservatory?! I remember when it was located downtown and was the first food hall in Houston (to my recollection). My fiancé wanted to try the Birria place located here and we both go so excited when we realized it was a food hall. So glad Houston opened this near the Galleria, where I imagine they get good crowds of Galleria area residents for dinner, business people for lunch, and out of town visitors. On the Sunday evening we went, there was a football game playing so there was a good crowd, but it wasn't crowded - love the multilevel seating! I heard about this place on TikTok via several local influencers. Parking was not ideal at the front of the building. The parking lot was packed at 11:20am on a Friday. There is parking around back, but I am not sure if it is garage parking or an open parking lot. Due to the parking I gave a rating of 4/5 stars. Once inside the Conservatory offered great lighting, good music, and was very clean. There is a small section of tables to eat outside if desired. The Conservatory has 11 different food vendors. It was hard to narrow it down to where we wanted to eat, multiple businesses had positive reviews. We were torn between Seoulside wings and rice, Bird Haus, & Rollin Phatties. We decided on Rollin Phatties and were not disappointed. I got the wrap zinger fried chicken phattie with jalapeños, pickles onions, garlic mayo, and cilantro. For my side I chose the masala fries! The combo did not come with a drink. I paid $15.14 for my meal. I believe my friend paid around the same price. The wrap zinger/masala fries were a 10/10!!!!!! My friend had the tikka chicken wrap with the corn. Her meal was also a 10/10! The food was made after ordering so it was fresh and hot. We waited about 10 minutes for the food, we were the first in person customers for the day. The Conservatory is open 7 days a week from 11-12am. This is a very nice food hall! There's a parking garage and street level parking that makes it easier for you dine in. There are over 15 restaurants to choose from which is a pretty nice when you come with your coworkers and not everybody wants the same thing. I will say that the prices are a bit high for my take but it's good to try different options and spots. I opted for the birria taco joint and I will say it was a lot of food. Would be better to have smaller portions for better pricing, but just a thought. Anyways, the service is order and self pick up. We ordered from The Pita-Ria. All of the food stalls have pictures of their offerings on menu boards. You order from a touch screen which also has pictures. It's like a big food court with a bar in the middle. The Chicken Pesto thin crust flatbread pizza was delicious, but messy. My friend ordered a green salad with chicken and enjoyed it. The server at Pita-Ria was friendly & helpful. The place could use a bit more parking & seating, but we were able to find a spot for 2 inside. Bigger groups may have to sit on picnic tables outside. It's an easy walk to the Galleria Mall or the Water Wall Park to walk off lunch. This is definitely a good date spot! Not only are the vibes kind of speakeasy esque but the food is also really good. I liked how it felt like a restaurant while still having a variety of food kiosks- almost like having a bunch of food trucks to choose from. The cashiers were nice and helpful if you didn't know what to order. Everything was pretty seamless. I will say it is on the pricier side though if that's a concern. Birria tacos: 9/10 The meat was extremely tender and the consume was absolutely delicious. My only thing is that they were super rich and a little bit oily so after one my tastebuds felt overwhelmed. Brisket egg rolls: 10/10 These were so good the umami/Texan take on traditional egg rolls was really good! I even liked the duck sauce and I don't normally do. Give me 100 more please! K sauce wings: 10/10 I loved these and was trying to get every ounce of meat off the bone lol. The flavor and crispiness of these wings were just a concoction of beautiful flavors and textures. As a whole, I really just love this space because they have so much to offer from the food to the drinks to the vibes. It was my first, and def not my last, time visiting! I tried out blk market birria and got their rice bowl with birria, and it was honestly subpar. Nothing abt it rlly tasted authentic. It felt like the guac was just wholly guacamole. They added sliced cucumbers on the side too? Very interesting topping choice. Also, the rice was way too wet, partly due to the other ingredients as well. I did not enjoy this meal as much as I anticipated and would've preferred tacos instead. As for the bar, we got the frozen sangria, and it was SO GOOD. They dipped the rim in sugar, which was a nice touch. It was a refreshing, balanced drink. Another plus is that they were playing some of the best music!!! On my first visit, I tried the birria tacos. The service was fast, especially for a midday Saturday. The were stuffed with flavorful, tender meat and had just the right amount of spice. The green sauce is strong, so a little goes a long way. Happy hour runs daily until 7 PM, which is a huge plus. This is definitely going into my regular rotation, especially for when I have out of town visitors and don't want to deal with the chaos of The Galleria. Free parking in the back makes it even more accessible. From the outside, it doesn't look like much (with the exception of the curtain floral and plentiful patio seating). It's ironically funny to eat lunch with your mother, while sitting next to the stage where you once danced on top of, 20 years ago. Very nostalgic and fun. Plenty of free parking in the front and back. Two covered porchs for good weather days and dog friendly. Kid friendly atmosphere during the day, for lunch. Remember Club Roxy?! This is what this used to be! It even has a sign to commeriate the well-known Houston hot spot from the past. Throw back. My review is based on the bar. I had a nice time hanging with friends at the bar and walking around. It was my first time here. This is the galleria location. I just requested to change the title of this place to Conservatory Galleria, so it's not confused with the other location on Dennis St. This food hall with 2 bars is right next door to the popular eatery Buger-Chan. Drinks - I started with the French 75, which was fine. Next, I got the One time Roxy, which was good. I enjoyed it. Service- The bartenders were super friendly. They offered my friends drink samples, which they seemed to really enjoy. Great way to intice patrons back to a new business, and Their official grand opening is coming up April 5-7. I appreciated talking a little to the owner Chase, who appeared to be head man in charge. It's good to see the owner actually at the bar interacting with guests. Bartender Andrew, not sure if he was the lead or the bar manager, but he was personable and fun. He shared his vision and ideas of how he planned to make this bar the place to be. The bartenders were cool with letting us stay a while and eat at the bar. Of note, one of the bartenders asked me to open a tab before starting, which is typical. But he said he had to keep the card at the register until I closed out. For me, that meant I had to drink first and close out, then get my card to go and purchase food.
