So happy I waited a couple weeks after opening to go! People need to understand when you go to a business that just opened they've got to work out the kinks. Pros: Wings were good. Staff was very friendly. Decor and set up were good. Cons: My daughters chicken tenders came out raw in the middle. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until she already ate a bite and asked why the chicken was red. They gave her a new order and still charged for them, but it didn't come out till we were paying the bill. Fish and chips were blah and they didn't have any malt vinegar to go with the bland tartar sauce. Macaroni bites were nothing special. Staff hovers WAY too much. We would be asked if we needed anything by one waitress after another to the point of it being too much. Checked on maybe 25 times while there for less than an hour. Ranch was watery. We'll give it another shot after a few months to work out the kinks and hopefully get more flavorful food. read more

We waited a while, but it was a Friday afternoon, so that was to be expected. The staff was extremely attentive and apologetic. Everything we had was beyond delicious!! UPDATE- went back for a Saturday lunch. We sat outside due to COVID. It was really nice actually. We had a chicken salad which was HUGE! Order of bone in wings Buffalo and bbq. Side of fries and a side salad. I honestly thought the portions were amazing and all tasted great! The service was amazing too. She was funny, engaging, and informative. So I've come here a handful of times. My 1st trip was outstanding and I loved it. My 2nd trip was great and I enjoyed my meal and dessert. Both of these trips had also had good service. But my trip for dinner i had about an hour ago with my girlfriend was awful. We seated ourselves and waited 10 minutes for just a menu, and before we could even ask for a drink she walked away, proceeding to make us wait another 10 minutes just to get a drink. After we got our drinks we were waiting to order for another 15 to 20 minutes, while there was maybe one other table in there with people. Given it was a large table, we still waited way too long for seeing about 7 different employees shuffling around. Anywho, our wings were good, our mozzarella sticks were dripping an excessive amount of weird juice and made them unappetizing. Then, as we order steak and chicken entree for our main meal, with a side order of vegetables and garlic bread. Our garlic bread was one piece of bread cut in triangles and our "fresh vegetables mixture" was carrots coins and steamed broccoli, we never got our grilled chicken and our steak was pitiful: no seasoning and cooked overdone, while also being about 5oz when I was told it was going to be a 10 to 12 oz. When we were finally getting our grilled chicken, it was a chicken fried steak with gravy, which was incorrect. And as a cherry on top of the worst cake ever, the dessert i ordered to come out 20 minutes after our dinner was brought out with our hot food. So ice cream melted and the cookie sandwich became sub par. When I complained to the "manager" that coincidentally was my server ( I doubt she was) she gave me a 25% discount off my entrée, not even the entire bill! So safe to say this was the last time I visit this place for anything. I'd get better service and more bang for my buck at McDonald's. read more

I loved it!! We have been 3 different times. Yes, it was a bit chaotic on there opening night, but everyone and there mother was there. We sat at the bar, and were constantly attended to. Service was horrible. Had one server the entire night. We waited for about 20 minutes to order some drinks. Place seems to be very unorganized. No one should ever wait that long to even get a glass of water. The food was good though, didn't have much of an issue there. But the customer service should be improved. read more

I saw this restaurant on GOOD DAY SACRAMENTO and it looked like a great atmosphere as well as delicious food. My husband and I finally went to try it out with the kids. This place did not disappoint. Staff is really nice! But food is a bit pricey and not very good. Ranch has a very bland taste 27$ for 20 wings and then you have to pay 5$ for fry's. And they need shades on the windows the sun shines right into your eyes and I would recommend playing some sort of music to break up the echo of people talking since the ceilings are so tall. Waiting to be seated and the Server comes up to the podium and says "can I help you?" With some attitude. After we established we'd like to dine in, she takes us to the high top and says I'll get some waters and be back. No problem, Sounds great, except two other tables walk in, are seated and get their drinks, both non alcoholic and alcohol, while we've been completely forgotten about/ignored. After she checks on the table next to us, gets them boxes and checks them out, she comes to us and says "have you guys been help?" Like she didn't seat us and walk away 20 minutes ago. It OK. Nothing great. The BLT said applewood bacon and it was paper thin bacon and bacon only on one half of the sandwich. The mini taco apps are right out of the frozen section of a store and would be way cheaper. Everything is just OK. The server was great!! Probably won't even back. read more

The hype everyone was waiting for, wasn't worth the wait. maybe they should have waited a little bit more longer to open the doors. Perhaps have some people who have worked in the industry before not high school kids. The 1.5hr wait we had to wait for them to bring the food out was not worth the wait. We came there tonight after watching reviews on Facebook people of Galt. When we arrived waitress brought us water right away and asked us for drinks. I ordered and Margarita and the wife ordered a Bloody Mary. My drink arrived about 10 minutes later. Our food ordered arrived and then the waitress told us they did not have Bloody Mary mix?? Really? One of the most common drinks out there on a Saturday night. How is that possible? Food was to say mediocre and was never asked how the food was. Will never be back!! read more

Visited Papas & Wings just opened in our little town for the first time yesterday evening, very nice environment our waitress Maria was very polite and friendly. The bartender I didnt catch his name, was also very welcoming he recommended the drink special of the day which was a peach flavor(forgot the name) and was very good. He also came over before he left to see if we enjoyed our drinks, I thought that was awesome, great customer service skill for the bartender & our waitress. Calamari was good also not too breaded, and I actually liked the cocktail sauce they used which I'm not a fan of cocktail sauce at all, but this one was good . On a Saturday at noon in Galt this place had 6 servers and 2 bartenders working the front of the house with only 6 live tables and no one at the bar, yet it took 45 minutes to get food out of the kitchen. The crispy chicken sandwich was two pieces of lightly toasted bread with mayo on one side and three underwhelming chicken tenders that where over cooked in old fry oil. Literally nothing else, not even produce on the side. The seasoned wedge fries where not seasoned. The mac and cheese bites sucked. Kraft has more flavor out of the box, and these where fried and breaded. The only thing that wasn't awful was the side salad. Save your time and money. Lots of other options within walking distance of this place! I cringed when other patrons walked in. I just wanted to warn them. The most pathetic restaurant chain food experience I've had. read more

I guess it's good to have another option in Galt. The problem being is that it's another mediocre at best choice. Overpriced. Service was friendly but terrible. We were seated quickly but our table did not have silverware or napkins. Our food was brought out at separate times so we were not all eating together. We were also left with food in front of us without silverware or napkins for at least 10 minutes. The person who brought our food out also had the bus bucket in his hand with dirty dishes in it at the same time he was handing us our appetizer with the other. I found this kinda gross. They need to so something about the noise because it gets pretty loud in there, perhaps some sound proofing. You cant have a conversation with the person next to you. I'll start by saying the food is perfectly adequate. My problem was that when we went (this past weekend,) they were running a special on wings, buy one, get one half off. Sounds good, we decided on a to go order. When we spoke to our server, he was very nice, and attentive, and he reiterated on the BOGO 1/2 off Wings. Great! So my friend and I each got 2 of the 6 count wings, so we were told 2 of the 6 piece orders would be half off. When we get the food bagged and ready to go, we were just told the total of order which we paid in cash, no big deal. I checked the receipt when I got home, only to find that we had been charged full price for all of the wing orders. Simple mistake, but I'd like my money back. So I have called the restaurant a few times in order to set that up, and I keep getting told a manager will call back, but no dice. At this point it's been almost a week. well hope it was a first time thing but went in yesterday ordered the cheese steak, first of all they did not add the cheese which i asked for and she wrote down on the ticket and added red peppers which i did not ask for but at least they did get the onions right so all in all for a 5 1/2 inch little sandwish was not worth the 15 minute wait for and to add insult to injury the bill was $16 and change i hope there wings and everything else is as good as that sandwish was .( which by the way was just o.k) read more
