I'm very disappointed. Just went to papio nails off 370 with my mom and they not only charged us 17.50 each for adding our pedicures to be shellac and and a buffing tool(file) .the owner said they they should have prewarned about the additional price by the employee but I call over the attendee and confirmed no one told me the add on price to be so much I'm used to 5 or 10 add on for shellac.at the end they won because k wasn't going to waste my time and energy arguing but not worth it. My cuticle is cut and I spent 3 hours there.im not sure why it took the tech so long I had a shellac pedi and a French tip dip. The owner was ride and unhelpful. Very snobby in my opinion. He didn't seem to care atall. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone a nd won't be returning. I'm very very angry and sad. read more

GREAT service and nails with lots of parking and room in the salon! The owners and the workers are soooo friendly! They welcomed us with open arms and made us feel comfortable. All of the amenities are brand new and the decor inside is very modern. The atmosphere has been by far the best I've ever experienced. I Would definitely recommend this place to all of my friends. I called ahead and scheduled a gel full for my 14 year old daughter at 6:00pm tonight. I dropped her off at 5:45 pm and ran an errand. When I arrived to pick her up at 6:25pm she was still waiting and explained to me that 2 people had arrived after her with no appointment and their services had already been started. She was the only person waiting. I asked the same girl at the front desk that's always there and ALWAYS gives me attitude why my daughters service hadn't been done and that it was 25 mins after her appointment time. She explained that technicians were running late and asked if I needed to reschedule. After rescheduling I explained how I had dropped her off 15 mins before her appt, that others had went ahead of her and that I was not happy that she wasn't even apologetic. Her reply was "The technicians are running behind, I can't control that". Again no remorse for waiting our time, no apology for the inconvenience just pure attitude as she has given several times before. It's a shame, I really like the look of the salon and never even minded paying higher prices than any other salon in the area, but I refuse to keep letting this little girl disrespect me with her attitude and poor customer service when I go there to treat myself or my daughter which should be a pleasant TLC experience. I don't make reviews that are negative (maybe 3 times in my entire life) but this girls attitude is THE worst and I think the owner should know how she acts towards repeat paying customers. They are a husband and wife team that work here. The attention they give to detail and satisfying their customers if one of the best in the business. Very clean & nice. I love how there is a separate room I can request for pedicures when I want to relax. I also love the kiddo chairs. Anytime I get my dip done it's amazing and last a long time! I have kept track and I have seen it last 20 days. I will say that they need to have cheaper and better options for kids. The price is way toooo high for the kiddos. I also think the massage for the pedicures don't compare to other pedicures around town.... especially for the price they charge. My neighbor, a teenage girl, got her nails done. She paid $65. She's a teenager and she paid with her own money. They did a horrible job. There were several lines and imperfections in the nails and the shapes were inconsistent and uneven. She asked about it during her appointment and she received rolled eyes annoyed facial expressions from the lady working on her nails. Completely unprofessional. Then she was told she could come back the following day to get her nails fixed but it would cost her an additional $40. The following day she called to verify the follow up appointment and she was told by the manager that after further discussion, they decided to refuse service to her due to "her misunderstanding." She is stuck with the poor nail job. Upon further investigation, it doesn't appear that Papio Nails and Spa isn't even associated with the Better Business Bureau. Customers beware. read more

The receptionist said we could come back in 45 min and then be able to get 2 pedicures. She asked if I wanted to make an appt or come back in 45 min. I said I would come back in 45 min. Then we came back in 30 min and the receptionist showed us to the pedicure chairs. We waited over an hour in the pedicure seats while people who had appts came in and were able to get pedicures. I then asked the receptionist if we would be able to get pedicures after waiting an hour and she replied, well I asked if you wanted an appt. This was horrible customer service. Well, I finally decided to take the plunge and enjoy a self care day with a friend and fellow mother to relax. We both ordered a manicure and pedicure. Personally, I ordered the citrus pedicure and I told them the rolling rock manicure which should have come with a lot of the same bells and whistles like a hot stone massage and towel wrap. The pedicure happened as described in the order. However, my manicure was just a soak, clip/shape, quick lotion massage and polish with shellac and for the price of the rolling rock service. I wasn't sure if I read it wrong or what, but my friend said afterwards that my manicure was as quick as a simple color change or classic manicure. I think I was ripped off. It doesn't matter if I got a pedicure or a manicure, I always start bleeding and when I got mad the last time they simply told me "bleeding is normal." wtf??? The staff are very professional and friendly(very hard combo to find) my manicure(thanks lee!) was flawless and my pedicure was just as fabulous. But the main attraction is Jimmy! I've never had eyelash extensions and I came here to get them placed. Jimmy explained the process made sure I was comfortable and was very attentive. I dub him the eyelash whisperer! I got my nails done here not too long ago, and I absolutely hated them they didn't come all way down to my cuticles like the lady i had pushed them back AFTER she did my nails ??? And my color looked terrible. Asking for a refund isnt asking to much for how much i paid. After I asked to get them re done i was very calm about it and she repainted them and re shaped them but they were still so skinny three days later two of them just pop of without me noticing... idk just not impressed to say the least. Not to mention it was starting to get pretty bad out and after she did my nails (that took like 25 mins) she was telling everyone omg i need to go home its gonna be so slick out ! She totally rushed. I had to stop doing business with this salon because every single time I got the dipping powder on my nails the clear coat would begin to peel off from the edges after a couple of days of wear. I had to return to the salon time and time again and have them redo the clear coat. I was told that the clear coat was peeling because of the winter weather then now that winter is gone they told me it is because my nails are too long. Well I now go to a different salon to get the dipping powder nails and I have not had any problems with the clear coat peeling off. So be aware! If you are continually having problems with the nail service at this salon just stop doing business with them and go somewhere else. read more

I'm not sure why but when I got a dip done here they put gel polish on top. I questioned the technician about it and she just said that is how they do it. It peeled within a week so I came back and they put more gel polish on it. I'm sure it will also only last for a week. However they "fixed" it so I am happy about that. I then sat down to get a pedicure and he informed me it was going to cost extra to take the gel off my toes. Anytime I get a pedicure I have never been charged to take anything off since I am already paying to put polish on. I also didn't see them clean the pedicure bowl between customers since they use the liners. The inside is very nice and has a great spa feeling, it's a shame I won't be coming back. read more

I came in today, 10-12 to get my nails done, I wanted a maroon and the lady directed me to a specific color and said it's great for fall. I agreed, after she put coat 1 on I told her if it's red I don't want it and it was looking bright red. She said no with more coats it will be darker, she put two coats on and it looked red still. I said I didn't like it, she told me to put my hand in the dryer while I was looking through the book at different colors, she then said "it's already dry, for a color change it's gonna be 15$ more" we called over a manager who said "you chose the color, it is what it is" they then after calling another tech over tried to paint over it with brown, the nail just looked brown and told me she was right it was going to be 15$ extra. We took the brown off of the one nail and I left extremely disappointed. The nails were supposed to be square with "squoval" edges so they don't look too pointy. Some of the nails look extremely round and some , square. I also had a pedicure, no scrub- just water lotion a towel and a paint. This used to be my go-to place but I refuse to go here again after today. This place has gone down hill. A refund is one place to start. read more

When we first walked in, we were greeted by a young lady and a nail technician. Each of us picked a color from a large selection of nail polishes on their wall. The service was impeccable! Definitely a 10/10! They asked all four of us if we wanted anything to drink & if we needed anything else to let them know. My cousins are only 6 & 10 and were treated like little princesses in their butterfly chairs. Johnny helped me out with my pedicure & was very informational about the spa. I learned I could reserve the V.I.P room for my family members & those over 21+ could bring alcohol (like champagne!) this is something I would definitely be doing next time I come. My little cousins got beautiful pedicures with floral designs and my sister and I got simple colors of pink and purple. I did get my eyebrows done here as well & they came out beautifully! Also, I learned that they do have a 7 day guarantee policy, where if you are not satisfied you can go back for no extra charge and they will fix any nail issue! Definitely something amazing! I went to this location for the first time to get a fill and needless to say I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone else for their nails. The lady who did my nails covered my entire hand in acrylic and when asked to get the acrylic off my finger and to file it off I was told I was being too picky and then she refused to finish my nails. I was expected to wait another 15 minutes after already being there an hour for someone else to finish my nails for her. I ended up walking out and couldn't be more thankful I went to midland Nails and spa instead. read more

Would highly recommend this nail salon. The staff is very professional and pleasant. When doing a pedicure a new nail file and buffer along with sterilized instruments is used for each client.
