All the food had a perfect amount of seasoning, and the favorites were the Lamb Chops and the French Toast Sliders!! Elite concepts and flavors. The Sittin Sidewayzz drink lived up to its name. The team kept the brunch flowing smooth. And The atmosphere is on point. Definitely the place to be in the mornings.

Leftovers from seafood platter with extra cornbread.

The young lady Ashley was such a sweet and joyful waitress. Her smile and personality were so warm and personable, which is a big part of good customer service. The food (catfish and shrimp) were fresh and cooked to perfection with the exception of the chicken fingers. The mac and cheese isn't baked (like most places) but still good nonetheless and the fried okra were delicious. I was little greedy and ordered a second order of cornbread not knowing the complimentary one was big enough. lol It's two slices, about 1/4 of cast iron cornbread in two slices, give or take a little bit. It's crispy on the bottom and soft and warm throughout. It's not sweet cornbread but it's topped with a honey sauce. The restaurant and the bathrooms were clean and they kept the tables clean as people left, wiping down tables and chairs. There are screen with CC and a tv playing old school R&B/pop music videos. The picture is what's left over from seafood platter, including my extra order of cornbread. I would go back and recommend it to others. -Francine

The food and services were not bad and I have nothing bad to say. I'll return for sure. I have one thing that needs attention. The music choices absolutely need work!! Before 7 on Juneteenth was nothing but early 2000s Pop music. Nah, nah, nah!! Then at 7 Pm, R&B began to play. I need to hear the cultural type of music this establishment and its patrons deserve. The atmosphere is great but the music doesn't reflect the setting and changes the mood. I went from watching and hearing Brittney Spears and Nelly Furtado to a Black Street playlist followed by a Carl Thomas playlist and now a Ciara playlist. Be more spontaneous in the R&B spins. Don't let my 3 deter you. It's worth it.

Best service I've seen in a long time. Friendly faces, very polite and attentive. Perfect hangout spot, Very scenic for pictures. I came with a large party and the upkeep with the table needs was fantastic. Drinks, appetizers and food came out together for a table of twelve. However the food look delicious but lacked in flavor in our opinion. My crab fingers was the best thing I had, I didn't finish the mash or greens. Maybe our tastebuds were off last night. I'll give them another because the service was fabulous. I seen plenty of people enjoying those beautiful cocktails too. lol I'm with child so I'll be back in march.

Happened to be on this side of town and decided to randomly stop by to try this place out. Me and mom were already jamming when we stepped in lol. They have good r&b mix playing. When we sat down our waitress was Ashley who was amazing! There were so many options on the menu. Mom got the Salmon Bites with fried okra and blackened corn. I got the seafood omelette with their Mardi Gras sauce on the side since I was familiar with it. But when I tell you everything we had was amazing!? It was so good! Will definitely be making a 30min trip back!

I went to the meal wheel to decide on lunch on a lazy Saturday afternoon. So glad I chose the Cutten Kitchen. Parking was scarce but we found a spot. We expected it to be super busy inside but already made a reservation online. No need, we were seated right away. Ashley was our waitress and was such a delight. She had recommendations for us and was very attentive. I got the mimosa with passion fruit to start. The menu is available by QR or in print. It was so hard to decide what to get. I ended up with the fish, shrimp and grits. I had them fry the fish, it was fried perfectly, the shrimp were grilled and the grits were yummy. We got a square of delicious cornbread. It had that skillet taste to it. Wasn't sweet like I like it but still really good. My husband got chicken fried chicken with fries, he is not very adventurous. He enjoyed the food, but no brown gravy so he was bummed. He didn't like the cream gravy too much. Prices were good for the food and the atmosphere was fun with nice music playing and the restaurant was buzzing with excitement. We will definitely be back. Best thing is you can pay the bill by scanning the code, order more food and view your charges all from the QR. so many other things I want to try when I go back.

The service was terrible and what made it worst was the server saw me paying with a credit card but it was also cash in my wallet so she said can you give me my tip as cash because on the card is like a check. The food was just ok. I ordered a lunch pork with Mac and cheese and Dirty Rice. We also ordered the fried catfish with Mac and cheese plus sweet fries. The Spinach and Artichoke Dip was good but the chips were stale. The ambiance was like a hangout.

I haven't tried many items here but I've gotten the wings a couple of times and they are very good. They are large, made fresh and the lemon pepper flavor is really good. My one complaint is that the wings are always hairy!!! I know every now and then it's normal to have a feather or two on a wing but it's a common occurrence here! It makes me question their chicken vendor or cleaning process. The wings are very good though so if you don't mind some feathers try them lol. I would like to try more of their entree items here and update this review!

I made a good little 45 minute commute from my side of town to meet a friend here at Cutten Kitchen. I had never heard of this spot prior to coming so I didn't know what to expect. It's a pretty casual restaurant that offers a brunch menu all day on Sunday. It was also kid friendly, which is what we were looking for as my friend was bringing her daughter. We were sat immediately upon arrival and we had great serviced from all the ladies that came over and checked on us throughout our visit.n For my drink, I ordered an Island Ting which was a blend of rum punch and a house margarita. It wasn't bad but I feel like they used bottom shelf liquor as I was getting a little after taste from it. My friend ordered the Sittin Sidewayz and it was pretty strong but again I would've preferred a better liquor. I'm assuming it was the Tequila in the house margarita that I wasn't too crazy about. Nonetheless, it's reasonably priced and served in a tall glass. For my meal, I order the brunch sampler which was a phenomenal deal to me for $30! It came with 2 lamb chops, 3 chicken tenders. A side of potatoes, greens and eggs! Like this was almost enough to feed a family. There were some hits and misses though. The lambchops were perfect for me and the chicken tenders were cool. My eggs were undercooked (I asked for scrambled hard) and the potatoes could've been cooked a little more for me as well but I tasted the masked potatoes too and they were much better and very well seasoned. I also ordered the house cornbread and they were fire!!! I would probably come back again but I would hope certain things taste better the next time around.

We finally made it after seeing this place on TikTok and it was very much worth the wait!! The complimentary cornbread was so good! It was warm and a great way to start the meal. Our appetizer was the deviled eggs with shrimp and they did not disappoint. Flavorful and the lightly breaded shrimp on top made it even better. My husband had the pork chops with mashed potatoes and corn. He thoroughly enjoyed his meal. He also enjoyed his raspberry mojito. I had the catfish mardi gras. The catfish was blackened perfectly. It was served with dirty rice and greens. My meal was fantastic!! I definitely see myself having it again. The portions were just right. I really loved my strawberry mimosa. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They took care of us and checked in on us throughout the meal. I love that!! The music they were playing set the vibe and I saw several people singing along to the music. They also have a couple of places for great photo opportunities. I really had a great time there and didn't want to leave honestly. They have happy hour from 3-7 daily.

The sports bar had R&B playing moderately loud (but no issues carrying on a conversation). I can only imagine the vibe may be different with larger crowds in the evenings/weekends. The menu is a QR code on the table. They have a large outside covered patio. Lots of TV's inside & outside. The salmon salad was very good. The salmon was cooked just right & very well seasoned. Nice size, generous amount of toppings (eggs, tomatoes, onions) such that I had toppings in every bite with my lettuce. The entire salad, dusted with a cajun seasoning, was a nice touch. Food was served in a metal plate with plasticware & plastic cups. (I'm sure the 'plastic' is helpful for managing the outside dining.) Chef Dee came out to check on us. She saw me taking a picture of my food & playfully said 'hey you gotta take a pic of the chef who created it'. Of course I took her pic!! Based on my salmon salad, I would definitely try other items on the menu if ever in the area again. Try them out. If you don't prefer a crowd, pop in for lunch.
