Boneless Got Biriyani worst Biriyani ever

We ordered the boneless goat biryani today. We were not satisfied at all. There was not even a piece of meat in the rice, the cheapest thing was that it had half a boiled egg added. We were not satisfied at all with this order, we do not recommend this place to anyone.

Paradise Biryani has pretty delicious food and you can also find some special South Indian Non-Vegetarian dishes here. My family's go to appetizer at this restaurant is the Apollo Fish and they make a decent quantity to be able to share with others. We also often get their Chicken Chettinad - this is a non-vegetarian dish which you probably won't be able to find at North Indian restaurants. On our most recent visit, we tried the Paradise Shrimp curry which was decent. I think they could work a bit more on their garlic naan - it can be a bit thin and needs to have more garlic. Service can also improve as well here since they forgot to bring us our rice and we decided to have it removed from our order in the end. However, I do think this a pretty decent place to get authentic Indian food in the valley!

Amazing variety in the menu, we devoured the biryani. The chicken tandoori was flavored perfectly. The interior is very spacious and comfortable for big parties

This updated review of Paradise Biriyani Pointe is at the same level as my past review about this Indian restaurant that specializes in biryani and other dishes. This time we tried vindaloo chicken curry, explosive flavors with great taste. We also had chicken Karahi, which was superb. The chicken just melted in your mouth. The cut Mirchi (deep fried, battered chiles cut into pieces). This is one of my favorites at any restaurant, and that came with a green chutney, which was fantastic, and of course the special Paradise chicken biryani was exceptional. My only complaint about this place is related to me. I do not visit this place often.....I seem to have forgotten how excellent this restaurant is .....and can be a class by itself.

Beyond the combo plates, they have classic favorites like chole bhature, dahi vada, and pani puri, along with a large selection of Indian sweets such as rasgulla and laddoo. They also stock savory snacks like namkeen and bhujia, making it a great place to pick up treats to take home. One thing that makes this place special is the hospitality. There are numerous chains of South Asian grocery stores (that carry food from many countries in…read morethat area of the globe). Some of them have hot cases, with fresh vegetarian food to go, or with a few tables, to dine in. Other stores are only for groceries. If you look around at numbers, this ethnic cohort, has the most locations in the SFV, Los Angeles, Simi and Thousand Oaks vicinities. Because of this, India Sweets and Spices, on Sherman Way and Topanga, is worth a trip.....to pick up ingredients, if and when I am in the mood to do some in house cooking :) This location also has a fresh vegetarian hot case every day, with several enticing, nutritious and tasty vegetarian selections of North Indian and South Indian food. There are also tables to dine in. On the grocery side, you can get some of these spices at supermarket chains like Ralph's, Vons, Whole Foods and the like. But none of these statewide chains will be able to come close or compete with these South Indian grocery establishments that are often, mom and pop joints. Supermarkets give you small quantities of spices for exorbitant prices. On the other hand, these smaller grocery stores have a very high degree of freshness, intoxicating fragrance, at a comparatively steal of a price in their products. And the smallest bag bought here, can last you for a long time. These are the places to go for superb intoxicating selections of turmeric, dried red chilies, fenugreek, fresh curry leaves, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, coriander powder, paprika, cardamom, fennel, and the like. If you are fond of okra, the best quality and freshness is in these stores. They also have the smaller red onions. And try some of the vast array of packaged and unique snacks (one of my favorites is the salted fried green peas), when you're tired of eating all the brands of potato chips :)

Then use it for several meals with the included garlic naan and salad. I make my own white basmati rice and enjoy every serving. My recent visit here saw several changes. There is a new owner and chef, something I questioned, after indulging in a sit down, for the buffet selections of the day. Very noticeably, there was shrimp curry, a feature generally not seen in buffets. That too, it was small shrimp, scarcely distributed in the curry and definitely from a frozen packet (I confirmed that with the chef). Strikingly absent at this location, was the daily fixture of lamb curry, which in the past, was tender boneless pieces, swimming in a thick intoxicating gravy. Instead, the only meat selection was chicken in more than one version. The tikka masala, the curry, the tandoori. The latter was exceptional and better than in previous times. The vegetables were standard and just okay. The pakora appetizer easily surpassed the samosas. Unfortunately, the pappar (lentil wafer) was baked, not roasted on the fire, or even fried. An important touch for the marriage of crunch and flavor that was lacking. The fresh garlic naan, the raita and the chutneys were all super. Service, with the same server as before, was timely, friendly and most attentive.

So back to the all you can eat, ordered pakoras and batter was sour. Then followed up with dosa, same thing with sour batter which is over fermented. Infact ordered a second serving to make sure I wasn't just tasting it. It's reasonable to assume that Thursdays all you can eat are leftover combinations from weekend preps. In terms of service, gap between the servings was over 10-11 minutes, and at the second serving, desserts were brought out when not asked for. Chutneys: not served unless asked for. Everything was off. The floor manager walked over and hinted at us leaving; not asking how the food was but when are you leaving vibe. Ambience has been like it was pre Covid. Not many customers on a weekday but that is perhaps because of demographics in the area. Weird thing about them trying to kick us out was that the restaurant wasn't even crowded but maybe becuase costs from our table were maxed out. Oh yes they also had a vegetable biryani as an appratizer which was served without raita of course. Overall, the place used to be great. Maybe still is but opt to go on weekends when it's crowded and food is maybe fresh. Another thing about ownership being form north in a South Indian restaurant are subtle changes where sambhar gets a jeera tadka or aalu pallya gets vegetables like carrots and peas.
