Came here for the lunch buffet. The saag paneer was the stand out. It was thick and creamy with a great flavor. The tandoori chicken was flavorful and tender and chutneys were also delicious. However, I felt like the chicken tikka masala and veggie korma were a little watery for my taste. The chow mein looked well seasoned, but I didn't like the flavor of that either, a little sour. I enjoyed the different biryanis. And I really enjoyed the garlic naan. They also have chai which was very nice. Wow, this place was SO good. The Indo-Chinese food is seriously next level, and the traditional Indian dishes were just as amazing. Everything had so much flavor and tasted genuinely authentic -- nothing felt like it had been changed or "fusion-ed" to appeal to a different palate. We've had Indian food in London, NYC, and India, and this was honestly right up there with some of the best we've had. The chef even came out to chat with us and was so kind and friendly. The food here was outstanding from start to finish, with every dish packed with authentic flavors and perfectly balanced spices. The standout, however, was the goat curry--it was exceptional. The meat was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, and the rich, flavorful sauce had just the right amount of depth and warmth. We just visited this restaurant for the first time since ownership has changed hands. Now known as Aroma Indian it is hands down the best Indian food we've had in the Valley, and weve tried most of them. We went for the lunch buffet, which we were so happy to see a wide variety of Vegetarian items. Goat and chicken items there as well for those who eat meat. The first happy note was that the buffet had mango kesari bat, something which was always a treat when we'd been in India. Among the vegetarian offerings were the kesari bath, samosas, veg pakora, dal makhani, soya aloo, saag paneer, veg korma, plain rice and tamarind rice. Chai and fresh onion and cucumber. Indo Chinese spiced veg noodles, perfectly cooked and nutty. Option of plain or garlic naan. Raita, mint and tamarind chutneys. Kheer for dessert. Each food was individually spiced and perfectly balanced. The chef came by our table to explain that they roast their own spices and make the spice blends fresh. You can taste the love and care taken in each bite! So, if you love Indian food or Nepali food, this is the place to go. read more

Myself and my friend went to Aroma Indian kitchen for the lunch buffet. We decided to get it to go because we needed to watch my dog at home. The restaurant is very pleasant inside, clean and nicely decorated. The person at the cash register was really friendly and helpful. I'm assuming he's the owner and we told him we wanted to get the buffet to go and he was really helpful and got us 'to go' boxes. We were able to order garlic naan which they made fresh and was absolutely wonderful. The buffet had a good amount of choices. Everything looked fresh and smelled wonderful. I got the tandoori chicken, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I normally don't eat dark meat, but this time I did and it was fabulous, juicy and having so much flavor. I also got chicken tikka masala, goat curry, and a nice rice dish with chicken. I can't remember the name of the other dishes I got, but a lot of them are vegetarian and they were very very tasty. There was lots of vegetarian choices to choose from, and they were all delicious with distinct unique flavors. I was very, very impressed with the selection and the taste. And, as if it couldn't get any better , they had my favorite dessert, Gulab jamun! Yum!! The Service at the restaurant was welcoming and sweet. The guy told us next time we come should try to sit and have lunch in the restaurant as we can go back again and again to the buffet. The food was delicious. I've been driving past Aroma for a month or so. When my husband said he wanted Indian for dinner, I suggested we give this new restaurant a try. The aromas (appropriately named) of rich Indian cooking spices greeted us the moment we walked in! We were already hungry and the smells just made our stomachs growl! The menu was extensive and it took a moment to look through it. Unlike other Indian restaurants, we noticed Indo-Chinese dishes and Nepalese dishes. We'll have to try something different at our next visit. This visit we had close to our usual Indian orders. We were treated with comped samosas. Fresh, crisp. Not disappointing at all! My husband, usually very particular about food, ate the whole thing! From the crispiness , it was evident the oil used to fry in must have been clean. Our food came out quickly. From the very first bite, our salivary glands were awakened by sharp tangy flavors! Delicious! The only complaint my husband had was the food got cold too quickly. (Cold plate, cold serving bowl receptacle for entree and rice would cool the food several degrees as soon as it hit the receptacle. Maybe warming these would help keep the food warm longer.) The chicken tikka masala was seasoned exactly as requested, mild. The vegetable makhani is not on the menu but was created by using the sauce from one of the other dishes and adding vegetables. Yummy! The garlic naan was fresh out out of the oven and crispy. Our entire meal was truly amazing! We look forward to our next visit. When this business was owned by another, we had our one and only visit with them on a very warm day. It was just as warm inside the restaurant. When we asked why the air conditioning wasn't on, we were told it was broken. We never went back. We hope that Aroma has had this remedied. Our service was impeccable. Water was refilled often. Used dishes were cleared away quickly. The chef and owner himself checked on us. We eat dinner very early so there weren't many in the restaurant. We hope the same level of service can be maintained when more people discover this hidden treasure in Chatsworth. We look forward to our next Indian meal at Aroma! read more
