A couple weeks ago we placed a fair sized catering order from here for a get together at home. Found the owner, Rahul to be very friendly and easy to work with. He was prompt with his responses to our questions and was willing to work with us in adjusting the spice levels to our comfort level. The food itself was tasty and came with all the trimmings. The portion sizes were generous and our guests left extremely happy. The items we ordered were mutton biryani, mutton mirapakaya mamsam, veg biryani, and naan. Pretty good food. Terrible service. The server was timid and didn't pay any attention to her tables (all four). There was no ice in the room temperature water. There are a few really simple rules that all servers should observe. Two of them are to make sure the water glasses are always full and to check on your tables throughout the meal. Fail and fail. After I got my menu, I sat looking at if for a few minutes. While I was still looking at the menu, the server came and stood there long at me. I was clearly still trying to decide. It was uncomfortable and odd. After about a minute of stalking, and finally asked me if I needed more time. When she finally took my order, I asked a question about a dish and she started at me blankly . Once I preferred my entree, she mumbled something incoherent with the word "spicy". At first, I thought she asked if I wanted out spicy, so I said "please". Not until she left, did I realize that she probably asked "spicy level?". I won't be back. read more

I've eaten Indian food in many different countries - England, Singapore and cities around the U.S. and the dinner here was the worst I have ever eaten! The servings were very, very small considering the price and every dish was served on a huge bed of onions. Basmati rice was the only tasty food on the table. Seating was very cramped - people next to us were bumping into us when we were eating - we were bumping into them. Service was Poor... There are so many very good Indian Restaurants in Denver and surrounding area, I suggest you try one of those and don't waste your recession $$$'s at this place.. read more

We are hooked on the food. This is the best Indian food I have had in a long time.The biryani is out of this world. This restaurant is our favorite and my american kids love the spices. The spicier the better. We adore the cooks and staff...they are so sweet,so wanting to please,and they do feel good when they are told how wonderful their food is. I am not exactly a foodie....but this restaurant is just what the doctor ordered. We ordered chicken and goat dum biryani about 4 times so far. The first time we were satisfied...Rest of the times we were utterly disappointed the rice is overcooked and the goat pieces were not cooked properly at all.. They don't maintain that consistency in the taste ..We asked them to make it spicy.... It was so bland and it dint taste like a biryani at all ... I feel we can make a better biryani at home than they do... I feel that it's totally a waste of your money going there ... read more

Normally I wouldn't be critical of a restaurant with poor vegan options unless they advertised vegan options, but when I called ahead they reassured me that I could "walk in" for dinner and have no problem. There were problems. I ended up sharing two fried starters and didn't have an entree. The starters were tasty (hence 2 stars and not 1), but they were so terribly greasy that I had an upset stomach. I would never go back, but I do give credit to the server who tried her best to have a conversation with me about what I could and could not eat. Also, for the meat eaters out there, my friends said that the chicken biryani was nothing special. I would expect better for a restaurant with biryani in the name. read more

My Husband and I went for lunch before he got his citizenship. I am a flight attendant and love indian food, have had it many places. I was insulted beyond belief, My husbands food looked ok he said it was fine, however my Chicken Makhani "butter chicken" was obviously thrown together with pieces of chicken that had been taken off a skewer drowned in sauce that tasted like it was made with generic tomato soup. I am a blonde haired blue eyed woman who they probably assumed would not know the difference. You couldn't pay me to return. please don't waste your time or money. I would give a 3 out of 5 for the food. If you are looking for some REAL hyderabadi DUM biriyani, this is not the place. It's not a dum biriyani at all in the first place and the craziest part is that you will have to search for the meat in the biriyani. You are lucky if you find one.For the service, i will give a 1 out of 5. If you are over there for an a la carte, don't expect a good serving at all!!! The person who serves our menu has the attitude as if they are donating the food to us for free. No water is served, We had to BEG for it of course. went to this restaurant twice in one week, ordered Goat Dum Biryani first time, was "SPICY" thought about mentioning it to the managers but the place was busy at the time, so left that issue right there, went a second time and ordered Chicken Dum Biryani this time, specifically told the waitress to make it "MILD" because of last experience, when Biryani was served was still very "SPICY" this time had to tell the manager that it was too HOT for our taste, this guy Amar who was taking care of us was extremely nice to replace our Spicy Biryani with a whole new order of MILD biryani and said that next time Biryani would be free for us because either the waitress or the cook messed up, excellent service, going above and beyond for customers, Biryani is excellent taste wise, just need to make it a little less spicy, will visit again. read more
