Fun atmosphere. Outdoor setting on a beach. Service is excellent. Servers are friendly. Food is okay, typical bar food. You can pull your boat right up and tie it to their peers. (Or drive your car there of course) They do have entertainment during weekend nights we can hear across the bay. I was there only during the day so I don't have details on entertainment. read more

We stopped at this place when we were out on my cousin's boat. We were able to park the boat right at the Paradise grill. This is a pretty big place, but since we went after Labor day, several sections were not open. We went up to one of the bars near their beach area. We had a combination of frozen drinks and beers. we ordered some nachos and they were HUGE! and very good. The four of us had a combination of burgers, a salad and turkey club sandwich. The burgers and fries were quite good. The Turkey club was a huge sandwich. We ended up taking half of it home. The bartender was a nice guy and did a good job taking our lunch orders and refilled drinks quickly. There was music playing in the background This place looks like you have gone to visit someplace in the islands.. there are over 600 palm trees(according to the employee we asked). It is all sand around the bars and you can go sit in some chairs on a small beach and watch the boats in the bay. There is also an area where a band can play. As we were heading back to the boat, there was a small 3 women group playing live music in another of the bar areas. The prices are very reasonable and the food was good. The best part of this place is the environment. For me, it creates a very relaxing atmosphere. The people seemed very friendly. We struck up a conversation with a guy who was down from New York. We went for a late lunch and after labor day so it was not crowded. But I can imagine this place would be packed during the busy season. I will definitely go back if we are in the ara. read more

A friend and I went here for the first time the end of June 2020...during COVID19. The atmosphere is amazing with many fun areas to spend time including: a main building that house 2-3 sit around bars (all were not open when we were there), a large stage area, scattered high top tables and fun 6-8 people bench tables, a large outdoor play ground for kids in the sand, sitting areas with Adirondack chairs scattering around the various buildings and close to the water inside the main area. In addition, there was an ice cream building, a raw bar building and a marina. It is right on the water and fun to watch the smaller boats come and go from the marina. They were very considerate on COVID19 restrictions, as tables were spaced far apart, all staff wore masks, paper menus used and then thrown away and customers were expected to wear masks (not provided) when not sitting at their table. Our waiter was extremely friendly and fun. He definitely added to our experience. He mentioned that due to the pandemic that their usual palm trees were missing, taking away from the decor, but it wasn't noticeable to us bc the beach decor was bright and festive. The only negative was the menu bc it was a basic (somewhat limited) bar menu with limited fresh items (including no fresh seafood). The Caesar salad we ordered came pre-made in a plastic box and looked basic and unappealing. I'm not sure if this was due to COVID19 or not. That being said... this restaurant is not trying to be a fine dining experience. It is a family friendly beach bar and hangout. It definitely can't be beat if you are looking for a fun-beach themed hangout with drinks and bar/lunch food. It's a little out of the way...but well worth it once you see the fun oasis at the end of narrow, residential roads. I WOULD DEF RECOMMEND IT!!! read more

Went on a date night, sat at the bar and boom. Very rude bartender out of nowhere. We ordered drinks, they sucked. Agreed between each other okay we not doing dinner with this bartender. Asked for bill, paid, tipped, bye. Went on the other side, sat at the high top table waited a little it's fine. Bartender wasn't nice either but better then the first one. Okay ordered drinks, sucked again. Food. Wings were awesome (Buffalo parm) so good. Chicken sandwich even we asked without avocado (actually guacamole) and tomato got all of that served , fried shrimp and fries burned to death and very greasy. The beach like environment, waterfront views with the dock and boats, and 3 areas of simultaneous live music is great! Nothing like it in the area, and accessible by boat and land. Nice Ice cream and separate "funnel cake & treats" shacks. Nice raw bar selection, and the food from the menus is acceptable fir an outside beach bar environment ( not fine dining!). Super bummed to have to update this review since we had such a positive experience our first time here. We were initially told it would be a 30 minute wait, but we happily got seated in 15. However, service was incredibly slow and food took over an hour to come out (we ordered sandwiches, nothing crazy). When we asked how much longer the food would be (this was after 45 minutes of waiting), our server simply said "Probably soon, but I really don't know" and proceeded to walk away. We completely understood that they were busy, but after waiting for an hour, we were very disappointed that our server offered no apology for the wait. Our server never came around to check on our table or offer refills. I'm not sure if our server was being intentionally rude to our table, or if the stress of the night was just getting to them. The food runners were very helpful and kind, however. The food was decent, but not worth the hour wait. Frankly, it was a disappointing experience. read more

The 1st time I went here was in 2018 when I came here to visit from Oklahoma and I was in love with this place. Then even when I moved out here my husband and I ate here probably 4 to 5 times a week. But it started to go down hill the atmosphere is beautiful but the food is horrible anymore and we usually sit at one of the bars and not all but majority of the bartenders are rude and ignore you even if the clearly see you need something ! But waiting on your drinks to be refilled or to place your order for 30 to 45 mins because they are to busy flirting or running there yap about God knows what is messed up. Then the last time we were there was last summer we figured we would give it one more chance and took some friends there and we all sat at tables in the beach area. Well we learned a lesson because we always do a running tab and when I went to close it out one of the bartenders hands me my receipt for a total of $276.00 I told her hell no and told her the drinks on here are not ours there was beers, fruity drinks and shots and all we drink is vodka and tonics. She then asked me who was my bartender and I laughed and said ummm pretty much ALL OF YOU there was like 5 total. She then told me there was nothing she could do about it and had an attitude because I told her I was not paying for anything except the 5 vodka and tonics so I suggest she gets her boss. After waiting 1 hour a female manager finally comes over and she did remove all the other drinks. Then I noticed all the supposed security that was working had " ankle monitors " how is that ?? Then last night on 06/02/2023 there was someone shooting a weapon in the parking lot !! This place has gone down hill so so bad and I would not recommend it at all anymore. But on that note if you ever do decide to go and you want to sit at a bar make sure you have Kristen as your bartender because she is and always has been awesome and she usually works at the one of the bars on the beach. Food: For an appetizer my family and I ordered their nachos. They had chicken, queso cheese, and tomatoes on them. They also came out cold, so we asked if they could be sent back and warmed up. The waitress came back with brand new nachos but they were still cold. The cheese looked and tasted like queso cheese from a can. After the 2nd plate came out we said we no longer wanted them and just asked them to take them off our bill. I also got their Cesar salad and their crab bisque which were both good, but not the best I've ever had. Service: the waitress was great! She was so kind and understanding when we told her we no longer wanted the nachos. She even brought over the manager to speak with us. The manger was AWESOME! He was very understanding and apologized for the nachos. He even offered to buy us more food because he "didn't want us to go home hungry." He also took more money off our bill total, not including the removal of our nachos! Service there is great. Other: the location is a great, fun area! Perfect for families and the beach bar area seems like it's great for night time entertainment. Between the playgrounds and the live music it seems like a fun place to visit even if you aren't hungry. The restaurant/bar is right on the water and the building itself is fun and colorful! The food and drinks also served on styrofoam with plastic silverware. Not a huge deal but it's not great for the environment. Especially for a restaurant where it's located on a beach. read more

Staff is mediocre to rude, and the food is terrible. Drinks are not great and are overpriced and the bartenders are not trained well and are often rude. Yesterday I ate at Paradise Grill for lunch. I had an orange crush and at $8.00 it tasted watered down. I've had better. Sam Adams summer ale on tap $4.50 . Really ? Crab dip in a bread bowl served with colorful tacky tri color nachos (which should be served with cheese nachos). My personal opinion is crab dip should be served with a toasted french baguette and keep the crab dip out of the bread bowl. No fuss peel and eat shrimp. ok. If your looking for a tacky tourist spot ...you found it. This reminds you very much of the cheesy landmark South of the Border. If you enjoy county music so loud you can't speak with anyone at the table you've reached the right place come if your a big fan of the Mojave Desert you found it. There is no shade. No trees You will find yourself seeking shade your entire lunch. There is no cool as a cucumber in this Paradise. The outdoor misting fans are not cutting it. Invest in more palm trees! read more

We went here to celebrate my Uncle's birthday and it was great! I was a little apprehensive at first because it looked like a tourist trap, but once on the property you feel like you're on a Caribbean resort. The food was fresh and tasty and the drinks were fantastic! I highly recommend the grapefruit crush and the crab cakes. Went for a lazy summer sunday afternoon and Paradise Grill lived up to their name. Beer was cold and the nachos were piled high. Service was a little slow as only one server was working our area. But not so bad as to spoil the day. Really gives you a resort feel. Toes in the sand at the beach bar and dance area. Even a tiny little beach to cool off in the water on hot days. Kid-friendly areas with playground and swing set. On the backside is the marina with a dock bar and ships store. In the middle is the core restaurant that can be closed in during the colder weather. This area also features a bar with a smaller stage and lots of seating. I would love to come back here on a boat because just over the railing is the dock so you can chill on your boat in the sun and enjoy the band. Especially when its the Love Seed Trio!! read more

How can a kitchen lose an order? Why isn't the server paying attention? So we ask to see the manager, and she handled the problem horribly. We arrived at the Lagoon Bar at Paradise Grill at 5pm, and needed to leave by 6:30pm. Should have been enough time! We ordered at 5:45pm and by 6:15pm the food had not arrived! We see the next table order after us and they are being served before us. So, we ask to see the manager. Turns out that the kitchen lost our order. When the food finally arrived at 6:30pm, we threw it in to-go containers and ate in the car while driving. We told the manager that we were not paying for the meal and here is how the conversation went: Manager, "You cannot take the food." I said, "You are going to allow us to leave hungry and go to our class." Manager (snidely), "Okay you can take your food, but you must pay for your drinks." I said (as I am rushing out to be at my class on time), "Okay, I will pay the drinks." Manager replies, "Okay, just leave." And then, we ordered a Beyond Burger. The manager said, "We have not had these for two weeks." So, we received a disgusting veggie burger. The server never told me that the Beyond Burger was not available. We would have ordered another item if we had been told. We have since spoken to Paradise Grill by telephone. We were told that food is expected to arrive in 15 to 20 minutes. So if you do not receive your order after that time frame, ask again. So enjoy the fabulous location and the unbelievable view. And know that orders sometimes get lost. read more

This is a nice place for just drinks, or dinner with the family. It feels like a place in a Caribbean island, but you still get the great views of the bay. A rainstorm was coming through while we were having dinner, and the view of it and opened to the outside was great. The fries were really good, and the sandwich was as well. Waitress told us not to worry since they would take it off the bill! I would hope so since you just tried to poison us! At the very least they should have comped the replacement drinks. Spoke to a manager who have the nerve to tell us "but you drank your new drinks" so no comps. Then insulted us by taking $4 off the bill and then stopped us as we were leaving to give us 2 drinks to take on the road. No thanks! We wont be back.
