I was really looking forward to eating here. I wasn't expecting to be this disappointed. I got the pounder flounder, the bun was low-quality and borderline stale. The lettuce and tomato were not fresh. The fries and the fish tasted like they were fried in old cooking oil. On top of that, the service was poor, we didn't get attention from bartenders, and they managed to charge the wrong meals to everyone's cards. My experience was deplorable. read more

The name of this restaurant says it all. The food,the drinks and everything just feels like paradise. I ordered Old bay wings and there was so much Old bay on it!! Everything here is so amazing!! Sure, it was "Flounder Pounder" day and it was busy, but just no... Paradise Grill came highly recommended. "It's right on the water," they said... "There's a playground for the kids," they said... So we (a party of 10) went. You can't fit a party of 10 in one car, right? So we got there apart. Some of us checked in, and their slick text message system was great. Until we read the sign that said: "Your whole party must be present to be seated." So when the ludicrous parking/shuttle system failed to have us all there at the same time, they bumped us to the back of the line. They charged us for water while we waited an hour in a bar area that smelled like slow cooked vomit with antsy kids and hungry folks who just wanted to get dinner over with by that point. Our party leader complained, and the seating manager with the iPad blamed our discomfort on our inability to have our whole party together. When we FINALLY were seated, the staff struggled to accommodate the two hungry, irritable children with us with high chairs, and wanted to split us up between two relatively far apart booths. The lady with the iPad didn't realize that telling us repeatedly that we would be SO pleased with our seats was maybe a bit much. And those seats on the water? Wonderful, except all we could smell throughout our meal was boat exhaust. I know beach town joints are pricey, but the food was wildly overpriced for what amounts to pub grub. The staff did nothing to accommodate us, didn't even apologize for our inconvenience, and blamed us for the situation. Skip the hype, and just go to Shuckers. read more

Food is not good and drinks seemed watered down. Absolutely no crowd control when they have large events. Everything's great until the event is over and the crowd leaves. We witnessed public urination, used condoms thrown on the residents' lawns, screaming and yelling, and cars trying to race down the exit street while people tried to return to their cars. Maybe they were just having an off day but nearly everything we were excited about was off limits- the beach, cornhole and other games, funnel cake stand, and even the band was set up in a different place than was advertised so we could not attend with a minor. Great tasting food and even better environment! Great friendly staff that are very knowledgeable of menu. We go here often only thing that really can be a problem is coming on a boat at low tide. It can be quite a challenge getting onto their docks. On a jet ski at low tide? Forget it! Floating docks at least for the skis would be a massive plus. VERY disappointed with our experience tonight. We've heard such great things about this place and couldn't wait to go for dinner during our camping trip. We were seated right away 3 different servers took care of us - not including the different people who actually brought us our meals off season menu was VERY limited and didn't have the items we were looking forward to that were advertised on the website. all servers just didn't seem friendly. Know that you are paying for the ambience! Drinks are good, but weak! The food portions are 30-50% smaller than anywhere else! They fill their bullets (not ramekins) 1/2 way up with their dips and they cut typically celery stalks for wings into 1/4s. It's beautiful there and has a lot for kids to do including ice cream shop, beach swimming area, and playground! They have a gift shop and several indoor/outdoor and other bars! They have a really awesome concert stage and it is inside a gated security Pot-Nets area! Draft beers start at $4 for 16 oz which isn't bad at all but drinks again can be very pricey!its beautiful here but bring your wallet! read more

Horrible. O Ordered the sharable steam pot, the most expensive thing on the menu. It came out 20 min after the table was done eating. No crab legs crackers, told they don't have them. ... Try cracking with your fingers or plastic silverware. Had to clean off dirty plates so they could eat off the basket. This was our first time here. I lovvveee this place. It's big and open and awesome. Lots of different areas w different entertainment. It's clean and nicely set up. In the past, this is been one of our favorite Summer hangouts. Great music, fun atmosphere and an all over good time. We recently visited for the first time this season, and were completely put off by the staunch attitude, and overall demeanor of our bartender. While there was a bunch of staff hustling and serving drinks with a pleasant all over demeanor we had the unfortunate expert of meeting Haley. Never have I met someone so annoyed by the menial tasks of their job. We were met with attitude and indifference to the point that we left to sit at the other end of the bar when we were made to feel like ordering our drinks was a huge inconvenience . The kicker was when she followed us and instead of letting someone else take care of us she continued to "service" us with a condescending attitude and plethora of dirty looks. As much as we've loved this place in the past this experience was enough to keep us away for awhile. read more

We were here for memorial day, 2018. My Fiance and I managed to walk right past 3 hostesses without one of them asking to seat us. We wondered around for about 5 minutes, then asked a server. She then mentioned the hostess stand at the entrance, so we walked back there. I smiled and said to one of the gorls "I think we managed to walk right by you guys." Each if the hostesses just stared at us blankly. Then i dropped my smile and flatly told them we want to be seated. We were seated, and our server arrived with a personality akin to a cardboard box. She took our drink order and when she returned she informed me that the Guinness I ordered is the LAST ONE that they had in stock (MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!). My Fiance ordered a Dirty Bannana cocktail that she says was not very god, so she ordered a strawberry dacari which was also not good. We ordered our dinner, and waited. She got the Crab cakes, and I got the Mahi Mahi. The crab cakes were good, but the Mahi would have been totally tasteless if it were not for the pineapple salsa it was "topped" with. Finally, on our way out, my fiance wanted to stop at the bat to do a shot in celebration of our engagement. Two shots came out to $18. The only thing that came close to a saving grace was that they honored my service with a military discount. I would not return, and i do not reccomend it. read more

To start off when we first walked up the hostesses they seemed to have a problem with us or something. They told us we couldn't be seated until our reservation came so we had to tell them we just wanted our own table so our 80 year old grandfather could sit down. The best thing about our visit is our waitress staying on top of our drinks. What upsets me the most is being over charged for poor food. As a training chef when I get 6 breaded shrimp (which were frozen) and some fries for 16$ it frustrates me. From the salmon tacos being dry and taking the moisture out of my mouth to the Calamari being 14$ and allllllllllll frozen circle calamari. I have visited via boat and car. The dock hands were very helpful. The parking is difficult given the location, either circle the lot or be prepared to walk a ways. My meals were average, a daily special spinach salad with a few shrimp on top and nachos with no kick and uneven distribution of toppings. The poor rating is due to unattentive wait staff on my second visit, in the beach section. I had to leave my table twice to go to the bar for a fresh drink. I was not checked on once after receiving my meal. The only time my waitress returned was to collect the bill and she did not come back with my change. Seriously. Nowhere to be found. Pulled up with a friend and her family to this nice location. We sat at a table and ordered some frozen cocktails that were less of a cocktail and more of a sugar rush. We ordered chicken nachos for the table and they were excellent. The service could have been better as long with the frozen drinks. This is a really cool spot that I would recommend. Some rude employee would not like me make my way to the area to get our table because of my super water down drink I was carrying, so I had to walk all through the restaurant to get to the host. Food was good but not worth waiting to sit for 75min. And the cheese on the nachos was cold. I don't understand the paper cups and plastic utensils..it doesn't make the food any cheaper or the turnover any faster. The server apologized to us about our food taking a while and that the kitchen was backed up. She also said they stopped seating people for a while because of this. You literally can't go wrong with this place. Everything on the menu is delicious. Orange and lemon crushes are great too. Good kids menu - limited but it has the typically kid choices. Stopped in on our boat - unless you wanted a burger or BLT, everything I tried to order they were out of - it was Memorial Day Weekend - Sunday @ 6:30pm. The service staff was rude and the food was taken home for the dogs (no one was going to eat the leftovers). The most of the clientele were rough on the edges and only interested in drinking. To top off the night, security surrounded my children like criminals for taking their sodas back to our boat...good job on scaring a 3, 4, and 8 year old, for a supposed policy, that was posted NOWHERE! Not a kid friendly place; we won't be returning! Monday night we went to Hammerheads, food was great, they had everything on their menu and no one stopped us for taking our soda cups back to our boat. read more

We have been here several times are starting to wonder why we keep going. The atmosphere and location are great. But that is where it ends. We added our name to the list only to hear one hostess belittling the other hostess over everything she did. Waited 30 minutes for our table and saw several empty tables along the way. Sat down and waited 10 minutes at least for someone to come take our order. Drinks came. All good. Food came. Hamburger came with cheese. We ordered no cheese. BBQ sandwiches came with little to no sauce and very little pulled pork compared to other visits. After finishing our food we sat and waited for at least 15 minutes for waitress to come and check on us and bring us our check. As much as we love the area and the concept this place is lacking. Menu needs to be updated and add something slightly different. Prices are high for the quality of the food. Disappointed. read more

Eat before you come. I'd only recommend coming for drinks/entertainment. Food and service is sub par. Pulled pork sandwich was more so a sloppy joe, and looked sloppy too. Plastic silverware when you're paying almost $20 for a salad and with a tiny piece of tuna is not ideal. Our waitress was nice, however wait time for refills etc was extremely long. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! This was my first time here and I'm at a loss of words for how bad the customer service is here. It was incredible. I don't even know where to begin. When I arrived , it had just finished raining. The sun was coming out and it was nice. I sat at the dock bar and ordered a drink, quickly finished it, and asked if I could keep my tab open so I could walk around and explore. Bartender said yes. I found 2 bars on the beach and wanted to move there so I came back to close my tab and was DOUBLE CHARGED. This was quickly fixed. I went back to the beach bars and they said the whole area was closed just because it was a little damp . What? The sun was out and it would have dried but they closed the beach bars? Isn't the main draw of a place like this, THE BEACH BARS?! So I went to the raw bar because I was not happy with the service at the dock bar and that was closed too because of the rain(mind you it had stopped raining but they said they didn't feel like opening it again). Whatever . So I went back to the dock bar. They have huge TVs at the bar and I really wanted to watch NASCAR on NBCSN so I asked the girl to change it and she wasn't sure how or if they had it(not her fault. She was very sweet). So then I asked a manager and he said that they don't change the TV channels and then he started talking to me about PORN?! WTF?! I didn't realize NBC Sports was porn. I understand this isn't a sports bar , but in that case, you shouldn't have TVs that play sports. I then left and took my business elsewhere. I don't know what manager I talked to but he has no business in that position if he's going to talk to his customers randomly about porn. Like wtf?! Was really looking forward to this place since my mom moved into the area and we have been watching the webcams for awhile. Music great - Unfortunately the food and drink did not live up to the reputation. We ordered burgers and were asked what we wanted on it, and then charged extra for pickles and cheese. And more specifically we didn't order cheese for my daughter's hamburger at all. Had to scrape it off but charged for it. Also ordered a beer and it never came until I went to bar to ask about it (30 minutes later). Love the location but wish it was better overall. read more

Dined in last night with a group of friends. It was very refreshing to see a place following all the Covid Guidelines will providing such a amazing service. Our Bartender Kyle was fun outgoing and friendly and made one of the best margaritas and introduced me to my new favorite tequila Casamigos! I really give this place alot of credit as we saw a very rude lady giving the young hostess a hard time about wearing a mask to enter people can be so rude and this young lady handled it with class and kept her cool!!
