Also, the owner told me they'd haul away the old A/C, but they left it on the sidewalk and said they couldn't take it. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. What's most aggravating is the bad installation. I have to redo it. As a landlord, I have hired many people over the years, and this company is sloppy. After assessing the unit, he explained that the unit is dead and provided me with a few recommendations, replace what's required or the entire unit. He was very patient with me and explains the pros and cons. At the end, I decided the right thing to do is to replace the entire HVAC unit since the original unit is more than 13 years old.
