I love manicures and pedicures. I used to get them all the time at home. This place is nothing special. First they did not have any lotion that was not scented so I didn't get a massage and still had to pay full price. Second got a french manicure that was not very good. I mean I could do better myself. The lady filed my naturally long rounded nails down to short square ones. And when I mentioned that one of them was not flat she huffed at me. She also missed spots when she was polishing them. If that was not enough they started chipping the same night. I am going to have to touch them up myself. Third the lady got moody when I tipped her 20%. She gave me this look like "that's it???" Finally, the pedicure was not half bad, but I could do it just the same. My 13 year old daughter went here with her friends and one of the girls grandmother. She asked for gel polish over her nails. She came home and told me she paid $41! I was so upset and I called and asked how much just gel would be and they said $21. I then asked why my daughter was charged so much and they came up with every excuse. Then I found out my daughters friends got the same thing and they charged her $38 and another friend got a full set for $45 which is $4 more then she was charged! I do not understanding where they come up with their prices!!!!!! I feel they took advantage of her since I was not there. My nail salon Sparkle Pro Nails in El Cajon would have put on a full set for less then what they charged her for just gel polish! read more

I was so happy to find a place that was close to my house and did affordable and good nails. I have been coming to see Katie for months every two or three weeks for my fill. She did an ok job, better then every where else I went, but I still had to go home from time to time and file down the nails to make them even. It became really difficult to schedule an appointment with her - either she wasnt working that day or simply didnt come in. I came yesterday for my appointment only to find out that she left early..well before leaving upset I decided to to give Tammy a try. OMG she is so sweet and amazing. I can't say enough good things about this salon! Mia is absolutely excellent. I'm really hard on my nails because of my profession, and my dip with gel always holds up beautifully. They look natural, clean, and flawless every time -- and I'm tough on them! My pedicures are just as amazing. I always get gel polish on my toes, and they last so well without chipping. The quality of the work is consistent, detailed, and professional. The salon itself is welcoming and well-run, and you can tell they truly care about their clients. I have been going to Paradise Nails for years. They consistently do a great job. My favorite is Sam - she is totally a real professional and so pleasant. I am able to relax and enjoy my manicure and pedicure because she does such a super job. All the other girls there are very good as well. They all take pride in their work. I have always been pleased with the customer service and the product. I have also had waxing there and was very pleased with that service as well. I always send friends there. I reccomend them hightly - suggest an appointment - especially for Sam as she is always busy. read more

I don't like the young manager at this salon! This afternoon, I saw the manager yelling at two clueless old ladies. I find it very disrespectful of her to be yelling at her customers. If she is disrespectful towards her customers I'm not going to be surprise that she's disrespectful towards her employees. I feel bad for the employees that works for the business. I really like this place, they do a competent yoeman like job. I especially like the fact that it is affordable. Being on a fixed income I have to make my dollars last. The owner/manager overheard my father's request and rushed over and sternly told the tech, " NO MORE!" and demanded my father to leave by turning to him and yelling, "WE DONE WITH YOU, OUT!!" Startled and feeling very unwlecomed, my father paid the tech the pedicure price of $15.00 and gave her a good tip, even though the one nail never got revisited. There was no one else in the salon at the time. We wonder if the poor girl even got to keep the tip! He said the girl looked sad and was rushed to a new customer who had just then walked in, right after she and my farher were both yelled at. My father said he felt sorry for the tech who has to be treated so poorly as a person and as an employee by her employer. And for any other customer who gets yelled at for no reason at all by this uncivilized proprietor / manager. We sre sorry, the three of us will not be returning.
