I needed a new nail salon and many neighbors recommended Paradise. I called and was able to book a regular mani/pedi rather quickly. Communication was easy and customer service was great. The day of my appointment I picked out my polish and only waiting a couple minutes before I was seated for my pedicure. I thought the nail tech was very sweet and did a great job on both services. She did cut my cuticle down too far and it started bleeding. That worried me a little with all of the negative things we hear but from what I saw the salon was clean and protocols were followed in regards to their tools. I did want regular polish not gel but there was a miscommunication. That was on me. Just make sure you pay attention unlike I did. Prices are comparable to other salons. They did take a few walk ins while I was there but then towards the end of my visit turned people away so I would recommend calling first. read more

I went to this location, to get a full set walk in or welcome. So that's what their sign said. Very rude lady at the desk states you need to make an appt I ask her you provide service with that of attitude. I told her no appt I will take my business else where the place was clean they act like they were being bothered. They are very nice nail salon ins the SKC area. Hit or miss. Had the most unpleasant lady this time. Missed 2 fingers completely and when I mentioned it she was insulted and said "I already did". She hadn't! My sister went to this nail salon and had a disappointing experience. I'm writing this for her because she's introverted and tried to express herself at the salon, but was ignored. Not only was the nail tech rude to her, but didn't ask her what style of nail, or what size she wanted. He simply did what he wanted and then chastised my sister when she attempted to tell him what she wanted. She originally wanted powder nails, but they did not have this available. (To me this is a warning sign as all up to date nail salons should not have dip/powder for their customers- it's 2019). Not only that, but once she was done he had her quickly dry her nails and then sent her on her way. He made sure to collect payment before her nails were even dry. In my opinion a service should be complete before asking for my card information. The moment she got in her car, the polish off an entire nail came off! (Picture attached.) Getting your nails done is too expensive of a service for there to be zero communication, and for the process to be rushed! $35 for this! I grew up in Kansas City, and get my nails done frequently there when home (I currently reside in Texas) and I am appalled. There are too many exceptional nail salons to receive service like this. I was a walk in, and while they couldn't see me right away, they were able to get me in within an hour. I got a full set with gel polish. I paid $45 which I feel is pretty comparable to most salons. Welp. Just had a really frustrating experience with this business owner. We were trying to purchase a gift card, and were about 15 minutes away. I called to make sure that was okay and the owner said yes, she would be there until 5. My husband was running into Lowe's, so I grabbed my credit card and headed in. I got in and she rudely told me that they were only accepting cash. I totally understand why that might be the case, but shouldn't she have mentioned that on the phone? Most people don't carry cash and I had left my purse in the car anyway. She goes, "why don't you walk to Walmart ... there's an ATM there." I'm 6 months pregnant and was so frustrated. My husband walked over with cash, but as I'm sitting inside waiting she packs up her car and says "come back tomorrow." I was so confused. No, you told me to bring cash. Now I'm tracking it down and you want me to leave? By the time my husband got there,he was like "do we really want to buy a gift card to this place after that" so we left. And I'm glad we did. DO NOT GO HERE!!! I just read a previous review on here about a male that works here, and I ALSO encountered him (there's only one older one that works here) on my last visit. It was my sisters wedding weekend, so I decided on getting a pedi and a full set. During my pedi, I mentioned to him I didn't want my legs exfoliated because I just got a spray tan (for the wedding) and didn't want it removed. I'm assuming he forgot, so as I notice him applying it I told him about not wanting it and he said it wouldn't effect it- after I left half my leg was a different color than the other half. Moving on to my nails, I mentioned wanting a more rounded top but not wanting too long. So he starts, gets to my pointer finger, and I noticed it was crooked. He then told me it was my finger and instead of taking the nail off he put another fake nail on top of that- so I legit had 2 fake nails on top of my real nail!!!!! As he continues, he cuts my finger with the file and he told me it was because I made him cut them too short for the shape I wanted. So again, I was blamed. He then knocks off the nail polish he used to paint my nails on to the floor which was obviously on his side of the table, and said it was my fault because I was talking to my friend who came with me. I was literally blamed for everything when I went there to enjoy being home for my sisters wedding week!!! I'm actually not one to post negative reviews (check my profile) but seriously save your money and go somewhere else or at least ask for one of the ladies who work there that are actually super super nice!!!!! read more

I've been going to Paradise Nails for the last three months. Prior to that I had a terrible experience with acrylic nails at another salon. Stephanie was able to fix the botched job and my nails looked beautiful. She spends a full hour on fills and polish and only charges $25. The more I go, the more I see what an artist she is.
