I got a gel manicure and my friend got a gel pedicure. My nail tech's name was Jennie and she was so kind, she really took the extra time on my nails and massages. I came out of here with different shaped toenails and a poor paint job.. the lady who did my nails was rude. I asked her if she could use more pressure while she was doing my massage and she mugged me: she was literally petting my legs like I was a dog. When I called on the phone to make the appointment they didn't tell me it was cash only. You also have to do multiple transactions on the ATM for more than 60$ so multiple additional charges. They also told me different prices than what they had on their pedicure options. I'm guessing this place does good manicures from there reviews but don't get a pedicure. Cindy was amazing! I went to get a mani and pedi for my birthday and she took her time with the pedicure. I loved that they used new products for the pedicure. She was super sweet. I asked her for a design on my nails and she was honest that it was a bit more difficult therefore would take more time. I just left there and I am so upset. I spent $100 for a gel manicure and polish pedicure. It was like they were in a race to see who could finish fastest. Got there at 4:30pm and they were done before 5. This includes me picking a color, filling the tub with water, etc. It was about 15 minutes from the time I sat down until they both were starting to polish. Barely cleaned up cuticles, and briefly filed my nails. This is for both my fingers and toes. The polish job is also bad. The gel on my fingers is rough and jagged at the tips, nails not evenly filed, and some nails are crooked. I have noticeable dry skin/hangnails on fingers and toes still (photo). The polish on my fingers is thick and bubbly, and lots of spots of it on my skin. I said something when I went to pay but was offered nothing except the guy said he'd file one of my nails. Absolutely horrible. I guess I learned my lesson, but it was a pretty expensive one. I'm just out $100. I will never go back and will definitely tell friends not to go there. read more

I have a 97-year-old mother, that it is very hard to get her in the wheelchair but she needed to get her nails done. Suffering from dementia, she won't let me touch her nails but, she lets other people. Our regular place didn't have an opening and I already had her in the car. I called Paradise nails because somebody said Jeanni does a good job there. Unfortunately, Jeanni was not working, so I asked the man who answered if there was somebody that was just as good. He told me everyone there was very good . Not true!! mom got her nails done and they left the dirt under under her nails. didn't even clean her nails!! (He did clean them after I brought it to his attention...with attitude) I was unable to watch when mom was getting nails done because I decided to get my nails done, too. My technician was irritated because I didn't like the way she was shaping my nails. I told her what I wanted but she kept doing the same thing and filed them to where now they're painful! When she came back to me she asked if I wanted the same shape and although I said yes I left with entirely different nails than I had walked in with. I only go to Tina for my pedicures. She is detail oriented, she does a good job cleaning/cutting my cuticles and in-grown nails. She spends her time and does not rush. She does take her time with massaging my feet too. She always gives my toe nails a good shape and my gel polish does not chip. I usually do my pedicures evey 6-8 weeks. read more

I got a "icedance pedicure" that was supposed to come with a herbal foot soak mines came with cold water and regular soap. The dead skin removal did not happen in fact my feet looks like i scrubbed them across the cement. It's nice, clean, and I'm almost always able to walk in and be seen within a reasonable time. The folks are nice and every person I've had work on me always does a great job. They are super reliable. Paradise IS Paradise, for a GREAT price! I'm knocking off one star because my color didn't dry evenly, but that could be my own fault. The jury is still out on that, and I know I'm just being picky. It's only if I look reeeeeally closely, and I can see a sort of dripping unevenly on the sides of my full set, fingers and toes. There was a lot of shuffling around on my part, and I may have upset my own nails in their drying process. Not sure who is to blame for that one. So four stars it is. They put up with me and my bestie on a time schedule last night, and we decided at the last minute that we did want pedicures. We can be a bit obnoxious in our dithering about process: Do I have time for this? What color do I want? I'm meeting someone here, where is she? Sitting in her car being an introvert? Right. The usual. If it's not one of us, it's the other, or both. We're career women, what can we say? So, hats off to these folks for accommodating our schedule and post-workday attitudes. I appreciated the attention to detail on the upkeep (pre-polish stuff, in other words, trimming, filing, buffing, etc.) portion they did for my fingernails and toenails. I've been lazy with my personal upkeep so it was nice to be spoiled. Both manicurists, male and female, were efficient and thorough, I thought. $20 for a basic pedi, and $10 for a basic mani. You can't go wrong at that price. Pedicure comes with a nice lotion massage, per usual. I found the folks here to be in tune to customer needs, and appreciated the polite suggestions in lieu of the persuasive sly upsell techniques you sometimes run into at nail salons. The lady who charged me even offered to put my card back into its slot in my wallet for me. Nice touch. Bonus: We walked in and they took us immediately. They seem to be busy, but also properly staffed to take walk ins at the last minute. Always a plus for a nail salon.
