Not a huge fan. I frequent several Vegas city parks to fit in various workouts while busy between school, work, and having some semblance of a social life. Paradise Park is not a great option for my purposes. Even coming by for a quick jog, there's no real path other than the perimeter. I have yet to find a staircase for drills. Trying to find a safe area to do body weight workouts is difficult due to the prevalence of broken glass. Location has a parking lot and additional street parking. It's shaded with lots of tables and pavilions available to rent. There's a water park for hotter months, and some sport fields. But the people who frequent this area are unwelcoming and hostile. I've only been here a few times out of convenience, but I am not a fan.

The park is huge and plenty of areas with shade, the grass areas where patchy so keep an eye on where your walking so you don't sprain or possibly brake something. Went to the Egg Apalooza event that was held for kids for Easter, there was a petting zoo for kids to pet, a train ride, shaved ice and tacos from Abulita's tacos. The event was held very well, spaced out enough between each little section of things to do, on time with the different age groups to collect Easter Eggs. Overall great event for kids and we all had a fun day at the park!!

I live in the Neighborhood and Don't go here often, but I have been here many times over the last 8-9 years and OVERALL it's not a bad park. There is a children's play area, a group BBQ area, public restrooms, a few individual BBQ areas, a good lighted walk path, lots of shade trees, a cool water park open in the hottest months for the children and some exercise equipment along the footpath. The downside- many homeless reside here ( although chased off by the police frequently) I wouldn't let my wife walk here alone at night, the children's play area has a rubber floor which smells of burnt rubber in the summer months ( enough to turn your stomach ) and on a holiday such as Memorial Day good luck finding a picnic table

Grillin'.

Paradise Park, on McLeod between Tropicana and Harmon, has been host to, well, a host of barbecues we've thrown for the mere fact that it's close and we're lazy. But, hey, guess what? It works, and there's always something going on. There's plenty of benches and, since we're not prissy and use park grills, plenty of grills to use. There's a covered area or two that, on the weekends, are usually reserved for parties, but you could call Parks and Rec to reserve them for yourself if you were so inclined. The park boasts a large playground, exercise route, basketball courts, a rec center and a pool. It's an older park, and the trees are mature, full and offer plenty of shade in the summer. Ice cream trucks used to have little ice cream wars trying to get customers to buy their (identical) wares over their competitors (identical) confections and hopefully will once it warms up again. Of course, Tropicana and McLeod is no longer exactly the BEST neighborhood in town. The park police patrol the park regularly, oftentimes not bothering to get out of the car but driving through the park on the grass itself. I'm often amused by the drunkards walking home, or the crazy man urinating, or the lady with the bag on her head, but more family oriented or societally squeamish people might not enjoy that quite as much as I do. Also, and not surprisingly because it IS a park, the bathrooms are always deplorable. This is why we use this park because of it's proximity to home. Of course, I let my friends drive to my house to use the restroom. No, you can't come over to pee. Geez. I don't even know you.

Loved this little community park! There was a nice walking path. The sign said it was 2/3 of mile; not sure how accurate that measurement is, but the path was nice. There is also a nice workout area and a decent-sized playground for the kiddos as well as a nice, big grassy area for picnics or just running around. There are also a couple tennis courts, a basketball court, and a baseball field. There is even a little water park that looked very enticing! It was like a little jungle gym on a splash pad. Definitely a lot of options at this park; something for everyone. There were a decent number of families out the evening we were there, but I got the feeling that it was an under-utilized park - especially considering how many fun things there were to do. It was clean, too, which is always nice to see, and I definitely felt safe walking around. The grass was a bit patchy, but we are in the desert, so I didn't mind. Check out our video on YouTube that was shot at this park -- https://youtu.be/WAAiWZPnn6w

Grassy lawn with trees and benches. Could use some litter control.

There's always some sketchy people around this park, and the grass is patchy and covered in bird poop, but I come back for the open basketball courts with convenient access to water fountains. Don't take your kids down the slides--I've seen several interesting characters using them as beds.

I normally don't leave reviews, but parents deserve to know about our experience here…read more We were visiting with friends and their 5-year-old son was getting ready to play laser tag. While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

Response Time: N/A Professionalism: (Depends on you and how you treat others) Date: 4/11/26 Dissertation: We came here for Pirate Fest, but the park itself deserves its own little standing ovation, preferably with a dramatic pirate hat tip. This place is huge, beautiful, and surprisingly impressive. It has that rare park energy where you can wander around and still feel like you have only discovered about 12 percent of it. The grounds are spacious, clean, and well kept, with plenty of room for events, families, kids, dogs, festival chaos, and people like me pretending I am "just going for a stroll" when really I am hunting for snacks. For a big event, it worked really well. There was enough open space that it did not feel like everyone was crammed together in one sweaty little patch of grass questioning their life choices. The park gives you room to breathe, walk, sit, explore, and fully commit to whatever themed event you accidentally became emotionally invested in. Overall, this is a vast, beautiful park with great event potential and plenty of space to enjoy. We came for the pirates, but the park itself was definitely part of the treasure

I honestly didn't know much about this tragedy beforehand, but I'm really grateful that this garden exists--to build awareness, offer a place for reflection and healing, and serve as a meaningful memorial honoring all the innocent lives lost. You can really feel how much care and intention went into creating this. Each life lost is honored with a tree and a small tribute area, and it appears that loved ones wrote personal messages for each individual. It was incredibly moving. Walking through the garden made us pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the time we have here on earth. It was especially heartbreaking to see how young some of the victims were--some only around 20 years old, with their whole lives ahead of them. I appreciated that you're able to walk through the space at your own pace, almost meditatively, reading about each person and seeing their photos. Each memorial area had its own unique style, reflecting the individuality of the person it honors. You can learn their age, where they were from, and a little about who they were. Overall, this is a powerful, peaceful, and beautifully done memorial. If you're in the area, I highly recommend taking the time to visit--it's a quiet reminder of loss, resilience, and the importance of compassion and remembrance.
