A sampling of what I've bought so far...unique flavor combinations and easy-to-taste high quality ingredients.

Found this business by chance because I purchased one of its products at a silent auction (for a charity event I attended). Came in to check it out and essentially found a hangar full of merchants selling all sorts of handmade tchotchkes you'd expect from an "open air" type market such as this (except that it's located indoors). Haa! Anyway, what a bright spot in this otherwise forgotten LA port city. The jams, jellies, caramel, and other similar canned/jarred products are all very unique and tasty right down the line. The owner has samples of each jam she sells right on hand for taste testing, and the jars are pretty enough to give as gifts. I've bought 8 jars from her already and only discovered them three weeks ago.

    While they last mulberry jam!

Excellent products! My husband and I take a roadtrip to Long Beach from San Diego every 4-5 months to get the jelly. Worth the drive!!!

A nice person (manager) came to help us, and we paid in the middle of the mart. We'd had this b4; TERRIFIC.

The place is inside Crafted at the port of Los Angeles and was dog friendly and had plenty of parking.

Lots of raw meat options. The fridges and freezers have some preoared food options. Lots of drink options. Some fresh produce along with some self serve rolls. Very friendly and helpful staff. I.ordered a few side salads and Torpedo sandwiches to go. The sandwich was just average. I prefer crunchy vs super soft rolls. The salads on the ither hand, we outstanding! Excellent potato salad and amazing caprese salad! Defina hot with the family! Prices were very reasonable. Parking. There isn't a lot but there was plenty of street parking close by. Typical San Pedro.

This place has been here for a a while, a friend claims it's changed ownership, but I'm unsure if that's a fact. Either way, you're sure to find what you need and a few things you don't but you'll pick them up anyway because, well, Italy! On this visit, I procured some deli delights: soppressata, provolone, hot Italian sausage, caprese salad with pine nuts (nice touch) and marinated olives. A few cans of tomatoes, and some chocolate wafer cookies. I considered spumoni, but I didn't have a way to keep it cold for the drive home. Note to self: plan for cold storage next time! Service was swift and friendly. An offer to help with the bags out to the car. They don't have a parking lot, so street parking is it. Wear your patience hat because when it's busy, parking is a challenging. I'd say the only thing missing is a true Italian bakery. That's the one feature that puts a dent in my wallet...well, that and canned tomatoes. Why are canned tomatoes so darn expensive?? That DOP designation seems to add extra $$$. Overall, this place is a good option for shopping Italian products, albeit a bit out of the way for me so I'll likely only stop here when I'm in town.

It's been several years since I had a scone of any kind. My one and only experience was a hockey puck, rock hard and pretty much inedible. THIS ONE CHANGED MY OPINION. I guess the one I got years ago was a bad one. This one was soft inside lightly crunchy outside, slightly warm still, delicious and well balanced, not overly sweet. Slightly buttery with a hint of lemon. The blueberries looked real and they aren't stingy quantity. The service was very helpful and friendly, not a hint of snobbery. I'll definitely be returning to satisfy the sweet tooth.

So my caveat is all this is amazing for vegan- Chocolate chip cookies 9/10 would almost not know it was vegan, it was also fresh outta the oven. Snickerdoodle- 3/10 not my vibe, too crispy Blueberry Scone- 10/10 she lived it Janessa cupcake- 7/10 overall a solid strawberry choice Cookies n Cream Cupcake- 10/10 great cake and frosting Chocolate Lovers Slice- 15/10 our favorite Herb Cake- odd but not bad 7/10 Will definitely go back to try their coffee.
