    mackerel from J DeLuca
    John O.

Seems like a lot of folks on here don't know the difference between J&D and J DeLuca. John DeLuca's shop (to the north of the large building) stays open a little bit later than J&D. I always visit each of the different three shops that open on Saturday mornings and choose accordingly. Here I've bought their tuna loin (including bluefin), snapper, excellent rainbow trout, and mackerel. They specialize in squid, anchovies, sardines, and mackerel ($2 to $3/lb) -- the other places don't quite have this selection. I buy the mackerel to smoke -- and the mackerel quality is quite good here. The prices are reasonable -- it's important to know exactly what you're looking for down here between the different vendors and do your due diligence with regards to quality. Always a must top on Saturday mornings.

Get there early for the best selection! They have bags, gloves, ice and styrofoam pieces to transport the fish, they also will cut it up for you. Cash only so be prepared! They have everything from shrimp, the salmon belly, to whole fish of every kind, something to see and experience!

Lots of variety of sea life available for purchase at very reasonable prices. Got here at 2am and there were already crowds here waiting to get in and grab what they could. I ended up getting a couple halibut steaks, shrimp, and salmon.

Sea bass filet. Nice 4 or 5 lbs here..fresh

There's a reason everyone waits for the other places to open. Not everyone but the main guy is rude and has a attitude.

If you want fresh seafood at a reasonable price, this is the spot. For first timers we took it easy. I went with the fried fish and scallops. My wife chose the fried fish, shrimp and scallops. The Fry and the seasoning were really good. Everything was nice, fresh, and hot. We washed it all down with ice cold bottled Snapple Lemonade. They don't have well drinks. Besides fried product, they also have a grilled option. They offer outside seating, picnic style. It's not a fancy seafood spot. It's a grab your food, find a table, enjoy your seafood and beer, while hanging out solo or with a group of friends kind of spot. We'll most definitely be returning

Went on Sunday for a quick brunch. Ordered grilled halibut plate, wife ordered fish and scallops, topped it off with a clam chowder and two sodas. Total came out to be around 65$. Fish was just grilled with a ton of oil on the same griddle as everything else, seasoning consists of old bay and that is it. Bland, old bay seasoning. Fish and chip was bland, no flavor. Clam chowder had minimal clams and mainly thick soup base. So unless you think those YouTubers are coming there to say nice things, edit the video, and then post it so they can make content money. Don't waste your time and money.

San Honoré Panderia at Island Pacific Supermarket…read more This is a review for San Honoré Panderia which is a bakery specializing in Filipino desserts located in Island Pacific Supermarket. My favorite items are their BIBINGKA and TAHO. Bibingka is a thick coconut rice cake with a cream cheese center. Their bibingka is baked and flavored to perfection! It has the right amount of sweetness and texture when you bite into it! So delicious! I typically eat it warm and pair it with my morning coffee. Taho is a sweet dessert made from soft tofu, brown sugar, and sago (tapioca pearls). You can have it warm or cold. Very simple and tasty. The bakery also has other options for desserts and serve fresh pandesal (sweet bread) daily. If you have a craving for Filipino dessert I highly recommend San Honoré Panderia!

We bought fried fish from this place and this is what they thought was acceptable to give to a customer. Trigger warning it's disgusting. Not our first time buying fried whole fish but this place didn't even gut the fish. THEY LEFT THE INSIDES INSIDE OF THE FISH. Raw insides. I ate some of the cooked outside flesh of the fish until I opened the inside of the fish to take the meat out and literally fish guts leaked all over the plate. All of the rest of the fish in the box were leaking fish fluids in the box they gave us to take them in. I'm fn traumatized this is NOT okay. Y'all need to do something about this. DONT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!
