Checked out Paradise Spa and it's much more low key and felt really clean, though it is smaller compared to King Spa in the area. I booked the Paradise Premium package for my husband's birthday, which included a 40 min Korean body scrub, a 1 hr deep tissue massage, and a 1hr foot reflexology massage. My only complaint was that they purposely assigned three different staff members for the three different services, which felt a bit disruptive. On the bright side, I really enjoyed my female scrubber and masseuse by Linda and Nancy, though I didn't care for the male masseuse as much. For amenities, there are two main saunas in the co-ed area. I loved the clay mud ball room, it was a unique twist! They also have a Himalayan salt room, which was enjoyable, though it didn't get very hot. I took my best friend here last minute with intentions of exploring the different rooms and soaking in the jacuzzi/hot tub. & long story short, we had a great time until it was time to leave and the demand from their staff for tips, what felt like we were being " watched" ( as if we would run off without paying), and the rudeness when they misplaced my friends ID & got upset with us. So long story short, after planning to return in a few weeks, we will NEVER go back. When you check in you have to give your credit/debit card, or ID, or car keys in order to be given an electronic locker key to keep your belongings. You then select a spa "outfit" (pants and shirt) in your size. In the next area you remove your shoes and put them in a cubby. Then a super fast run through by a woman with a heavy Asian accent, so you barely understand. Then you find out that the showers , hot & cold pool ( because they don't have a jacuzzi/hot tub as advertised) is all NUDE! Lol read more

Checked out this Korean spa during my trip to the east coast this past winter. It was my first time here and was a great place to beat the cold. Compared to other Korean spas, this one is on the smaller side. If I remember correctly, there was no dry sauna in the men's wet area and really no place to sit except the ledge of the jacuzzi. The steam room gets so busy, it's like being in a can of sardines, except it's naked men. That might be a turn off for some, but I found the other patrons to be very friendly and respectful. They also get an extra star for being one of the lower priced K-spas in the area. Maybe I'm spoiled with the options, offerings and prices in California but I balked at the high prices of the other larger K-spas in NJ. Will be returning here the next time I'm in town! read more

Came back to Paradise December 2023. This was my 4th time here and my review stays the same. Every time I come I get a body scrub, massage and foot massage. The body scrub is always the best and I feel renewed. It's funny I get the same woman every time so she'd now my Aunty. It's always peaceful and quiet and not awkward. Also very clean. Where they can improve: Food. It's advertised they serve food but I've never witnessed anyone cooking or serving. Consistency I've had varying degrees in experience with massages. Some just okay and other amazing. But all in all I'm still pleased and will absolutely return. I do feel for anyone heckled over their tip. I was in need of a massage and couldn't wait to try this place. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. The place was really nice. I was led to the changing room where they had outfits for me to change into. I went to the massage area and was massaged by an older male. The full body, deep tissue massage was good, but he was a tad rough in some areas of the back because it was deep tissue, which I did express. He did do well on the legs and arms. Went last night for a massage. Clean and neat place and the massage was great. Used the facilities (steam and bath) before and after the massage. Also great, except it was awkward to have employees/staff using the facilities with you. Shouldn't staff be using the facilities after closing so it is available to paying customers? Making it worse was asking one employee to adjust the steam room, him talking to the other employee about it, and saying no they can't adjust. Ten minutes later when the other employee came to the steam room, he adjusted the steam it to HIS PREFERENCE. They just said it can not be done. Lol. Then they did the same thing in the hot baths....adjusted the baths by adding fresh clean water ONLY WHEN THEY ENTERED. Basically, they make it all perfect for THEMSELVES, but will not do the same for customers. The place could be great as they have the facilities and talented therapists, great potential. I just wanted a relaxing steam and sauna for a few hours. The facility itself is really small but it's clean and it's rather nice. The staff was friendly to me but the other customers were not. Very disappointed with this place, first I want to state, if you got a Groupon, be very careful, not only you will pay at least $100 more there, because you pay taxes on the Groupon price there and you have to pay a specific tip, doesn't matter if you liked the massage or not, doesn't even matter if you didn't get what you paid for‍ I bought two 1 hour massages and got Swedish massage with 5 minutes of hot stones. The massage was very painful and unpleasant, my neck is in a lot of pain. The facility only has 3 saunas, one of them I absolutely loved, but sadly it's the only thing I liked about the entire experience. Juice bar was closed. Food is well over priced and you will not get the traditional many small dishes with your meal, so for 2 meals you will get 2 small dishes that you need to share. The wet part is pretty awful, it has 2 pools, one is warm, not hot and the other is slightly cold, definitely not the cold pool I'm used to in spas like this. They have 3 showers with seating and one shampoo/body wash for everyone, when I came there was 3 people there so that meant there was not enough space for me to sit at a shower, I had to run to the body wash and back to the wall shower, the whole thing is really awkward. The changing area is small with one bench by the lockers, the workers hang out on this bench taking up the whole thing, sitting and laughing, talking loudly and having their legs/feet up on the bench taking it all up, I had no way to move around my locker no where to sit, it was very unprofessional on their end and felt uncomfortable. I do have to say their sleeping room was very comfortable as well. I got a Groupon for $160 they force you to pay about $100 on top of that there so $280 is the sale price(Groupon) for 2 1hr wrong massages and 3 saunas. They close early so not sure what the sleeping areas are for, but I guess a nap in the day would be nice. Of the place was something that cost 20 bucks to spend several hours in to basically sleep and hot into a few saunas maybe I would go, but anything over that it's just not worth it at all. I just assumed that we were going to have the foot massage first then transfer to our own individual body massage room. I called before I booked to make sure I can wear a bottom swimsuit and they said yes; which is why I went ahead and booked it but that was not the case. this was by far the worst spot experience I ever had after initially coming in we were not made aware that all the massages services were booked out, and that they were down several staff members which limited ability to provide services. we proceeded to pay the admission fee and went into one of the sauna rooms upon coming out. This is a small intimate Korean sauna spa. There's no food, but I saw a coffee bar that looked like it also served smoothies . If you want a quiet replace to unwind, in relative solitude, then this K-spa may be for you. The body scrub with wet massage cost me $117 (85, with a mandatory minimum $25 tip, plus tax ) and was well worth it. It is a long service (1 1/2 hr+) and it's not for the bashful or faint of heart . For Women. : You will lay on a table , completely bare before an older Korean auntie, who will be in black underwear. She will stare you down , as she uses soap and a sandpaper-like mitt to scrub all the grime off your skin and probably out of your filthy soul too. If you are tall Like me, you may feel bashful when your foot accidentally breezes against her bare skin, but she will ignore this, because nothing phases your new Korean auntie. She will throw scalding hot buckets of water on you, to remove rolls of your gray dead skin that she has mercifully removed from your body, in her efforts to cleanse away your filth. First let me say that I had a wonderful time here. My cousin and I both had the Hawaiian package - 1hr foot massage, 1 hr massage (we both had combo deep tissue and Swedish), and body scrub + wet massage. Divine!!! Our skin was perfectly pummeled and scrubbed and we are both soft as the day we were born. Also very clean and professional. But buyer beware!!! On the website it seems as if prices are inclusive of tax and tip, but not so (I suppose it does seem too good to be true, but still)!! And the tips on the services are a *required* 33-35% of the cost of the service. Which is fine because every single person deserved it - they did a great job and I am happy to pay - I just wish the establishment was more upfront about it. Very clean and cozy spa and entry is only $20, winning. They have 3 varieties of hot rooms, a relaxation room, massage room, and hot/cold tubs with steam rooms in separate locker rooms for each gender. There is a massage room with about 5 seats for paid services. They also have a small kitchen that serves small dishes,tea, and juice upon request or a small fridge at the entrance with soft drinks. Although it is very small compared to other spas, it is very calm and not over crowded (at least in off-peak times), just the way I like it. If you are looking for a huge place with lots of variety that you can wander around and get lost in this is not it. If you are looking for some quiet time on a weekday then this fits the bill. read more

I've been here multiple times before COVID and had pleasant service. This last time, I don't know what occurred however, it has changed my perspective. Not sure if it was different staff. From the moment I walked in with my friend for a spa day, we were not greeted after arriving early, others were addressed whom arrived after us. The massage was ridiculously rough and continued even after stating it was hurting. The foot massage was so painful I had pain walking for the next 3 days along with bruising from the massage. My partner took me here for massages. We booked a couple massage for $170. When we arrived we were greeted well and the place is very nice and clean, however although the screen came up to $170 the employee changed it to $250 because she said they changed their prices when we had already pre booked. Had we not insisted she was going to charge us the $250. We were also told at time of booking that they would include spa for us and this never happened, again when we asked they told us $30 more each for spa services, then ended up charging us $25 each instead. Massage was ok, even though they never rubbed our feet or neck, that didn't really feel like a full body. The addtl rooms are great and very relaxing. This place was great. Went there with my mom and grandma and redeemed a Groupon deal we had for a full body massage and foot massage. When you get there you're given an outfit to wear at the spa(shirt and shorts) and a bracelet which lets you have access to the lockers. The lockers are in the sauna room and it's a free atmosphere everyone is mostly naked because you go into the pool naked. The massage was amazing I felt very light afterwards. They were great at accommodating us since we were 3 for the foot massage. I would say the only complaint I had was the mandatory tip which is not mentioned on the Groupon. I was going to give my ladies a good tip anyways, I was just surprised it was mandated at a specific amount. Oddly enough, the sound of 2 guys in the room snoring added to the relaxation lol. I was excited about the hinoki room, but it didn't smell like oils or have a citrus aroma; it was just a room with yoga mats and pillows, really. I got the 90 minute maternity massage. The massage itself was nice but the masseuse left the door open the entire time so anyone walking by could see me getting massaged. Walking down the hallway there were other customers getting massages and their doors were open as well. I thought that was strange as I am use to much more privacy with massages I've had in the past. I payed at check in before the massage but they accidentally charged me for the 60 minute instead of the 90 so I stopped by the front on my way out to pay the difference. I gave the masseuse a $20 tip which I thought was appropriate but the checkout women was giving me an issue saying that was not enough so I gave an additional $10 for tip ($30 tip total, a 30% tip). Best "treating myself" money I've ever spent! I was treated like royalty for almost 2 hours. I am sooo relaxed and my skin is still glowing 10 hours later. I got body scrub/wet massage and am extremely amused by how much dead skin came off of me when I finally realized what the little gray things flying around were...at first I thought they were whatever was being used to scrub me. The oils smelled great and nothing hurt my ultra-sensitive skin or sense of smell. The lady who worked on me, forgive me for not catching her name, she had (short black hair and was chubby) gave me an amazing massage. I wish I could afford this monthly. A small, cozy, quiet place. Quite different from King Spa with tons of people running around. The only negatives are there is only one bathroom for each gender in the entire building. It would be much easier to have another bathroom in the main hallway where everybody is walking. Also the sink only has bar soap, gross. I don't want to use communal soap. The first thing I think of when I go into a spa is a bottle of soap with a pump. Much more classy. There is one hot tub, one cold tub and a steam room. There is no dry sauna. You have to be nude in that section. There is a loess mud ball room. Be careful when you walk in there, it's like walking into a ball pit! There's also a pink salt room and a sleeping room. Currently $26.66 tax included for admission without any massage. No discounts on admission on Groupon. Just $200 for 10 visits so you save $5 per visit. read more

Came here for my birthday today as a gift and it was great! I had the body scrub with wet massage; now if you have never been to a Korean spa with these kind of services make sure you know what you're walking into. You're absolute nude while in a womens only locker room/section with sauna, showers, and jacuzzis. The admission for entry also includes access to unisex saunas (with outfits they provide for you) and more (foot massages, resting room, etc) but I didn't bother to leave the women's only section. As for the body scrub with wet massage service, it's intense (which I like) and after you will feel so refreshed, clean, and revived. The "Korean auntie" who is providing this service scrubs EVERY part of your body while you're nude. If you have sensitive skin this is definitely not for you. They also throw buckets of hot water on you and the massage part is more on the rough side so it's not for the weak; however, you can let her know to go softer and/or slower. She also gave me a refreshing cucumber mask which was wonderful. Overall 10/10 recommend! read more

First let me say....zero stars would be the best option here. My two cousins and I went here for a birthday spa day celebration. Our greeting at the front desk was not very welcoming. Normally upon arrival to a spa you are greeted with a warm welcoming feeling.... not here. We were rushed to put our shoes in a locker, which doesn't actually lock. We were then ushered off to the locker room which is quite small and shown where to put our things. We spent almost $600 for two 1hr foot massages, three 1hr body scrubs and three body massages. Normally when you get a massage you are asked if the pressure being applied is good. I advised the lady that it was a bit rough.....but that was pointless because she continued being rough. I got this massage three days ago and my back is still in pain. The foot massages same deal....excessive pressure leaving excruciating pain. On to the body scrub.....I'll just say at this point i was scrubbed so much that my skin is currently peeling with dry patches. The lady doing the scrub told me that I was a big baby because I told her the boiling hot water she threw on me was too hot. Upon returning to the locker room to dress after my body scrub, the lady who did the scrub walked up to me asking for her tip. At the front desk, the receptionist is also demanding a $15-20 tip for EACH YES EACH SERVICE PROVIDED. THIS IS SOME BS......BECAUSE IF YOU ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION YOU WILL BE SWINDLED AND DOUBLE TIPPING. The wash cloth had other people grit... and when I threw mine out the staff yelled at me and just rinsed it and put it back on the pile.
