Came here one day after shopping around the area, this was on a must try list so we thought we lucked out since we were right next door. The store is located in strip mall with a shared parking lot. The staff was friendly and very patient with our question. The store itself was clean but a bit dated. We order samosas, chicken Frankie (basically an Indian burrito), panner paratha, chicken tikka masala and palak panner. All to go. The samosas were horrible. They were rock hard and couldn't really eat it. One bite and almost lost a tooth kinda hard. Not sure what happened. The chicken in the Frankie and chicken tikka still had chucks of fat still on them. Making it really chewy and gross. This isn't steak, chicken shouldn't have fat on it especially boneless. Palak panner was good a saving grace. The chicken tikka masala was okay. The naan that came with it was so flat it was more like a thick tortilla. The frankie was mid but won't recommend it. Lastly the paratha, the name sake of the the business was meh. Nothing really special about it. Wished it tasted amazing like the pictures I saw but nope. Overall, won't be coming back too many other locations to trying. Hopefully others won't have the issue like I did. read more

My fiancée and I come to Artesia just for this restaurant. I love their food, their courtesy and their professionalism. The food is in very big portions and the quality is absolutely amazing. It is never too packed when we do end up going, and we are able to sit down right away. We always go during the afternoon hours, so I cannot speak for the evening hours. This is like an Indian fast food joint. They have takeouts and dine-ins. Though the food looked great, the flavor and the freshness doesn't compare to other restaurants down the street. The naan was cooked to a crisp, the cheese paratha looked like it was microwaved, the chicken tasted old, but the lamb was great. Food is great but the first time I came here, my order was made incorrect twice. I had to wait an hour till they finally got it right. When the food arrived it was totally worth the wait. The second time I ate here, the service was fast, our orders were ready on time. Food is very authentic Punjabi and delicious. They have all types of parathas, chhole and even sarso ka saag. This was my first time trying food here and when I asked the gentleman who took my order to recommend a dish for me to try he really blew me away with food, the dish consisted of chicken with vegetables (Chicken Tikka Masala & Chicken Tikka) - spicy and extremely savory! A must try place for anyone visiting the wonderful neighborhood in Artesia. They are located in the Pioneer Center with plenty of parking. The staff was kind and very welcoming! I was charged $4 something for raita as if the dude at the register charged me for 2 raitas instead of 1 and I didn't have the energy to throw a fit that time but I was definitely overcharged. Good food, but dishonest business practices. Double check the prices so they match what you're charged. I'd want to come back and try their parathas but I'll do that when I have the time and energy to deal with being overcharged. read more

Both chicken dishes were excellent and so was malai kofta. The only downside is that there is less chicken and more gravy.. same issue with paneer too. While the stuffed parathas looked amazing... The stuffed parathas are just lip-smackingly delicious. Good portions stuffed inside and the Tandoor oven works so well - I have never had a Gobi paratha and an Amritsari Kulcha so hot - straight from the oven - served to me. The chole accompanying the kulcha was also amazingly tasty. The server Robin is great - nice and friendly and helpful. Wow! Really tasty parathas My family got the paneer, aloo,muli, chicken kheema and chilli parathas & the paneer kathi roll. All of them were tasty, hot and nourishing. The parathas feels like we are eating at a traditional punjabi house and like an excellent host, the owner came out to the table and checked on us. We really enjoyed the food here! We got the paratha combo with paneer paratha and paneer tikka masala, mango lassi, and masala tea. Food was hot, fresh, fast, and well priced! We paid $14 for everything. Flavors were really on point, spicy level was just right, and the paneer was big. The mango lassi wasn't too sweet and the tea had no sugar but you can add if you needed, which I prefer. First time trying a paratha like this so I can't compare but I thought was very delicious. What we ordered was enough for two, but maybe if you're extra hungry you may need more ;). Service was good all around. Everything inside seemed cleaned. They were open on Monday evening and on president's day holiday. They even had outdoor sitting, which was a plus for us and perfect for what we needed! The parathas here are simply on another level. The food here will never leave you disappointed! We had ordered Amritsar paratha. This is super filling and super delicious. Not sure too exactly what this paratha is filled with but there is potatoes and some onions and probably a lot more along with many spices. The best part is that it is glazed with butter on the top which makes your mouth water. I also got the saag with the roti, which was just as filling and amazing! This paratha also comes with Chole which is honestly indescribable! This small store which isn't very attractive from the outside has the most authentic food that I have ever ate. The place has been under "Paratha Grill" for some time now, but we do not frequent this shopping mall. So, we never had a chance to dine here. A few weeks ago, Pioneer Cash and Carry plaza had no parking, so we ended up here. I got food from here whilst the family was shopping at Ambala Cash & Carry. I ordered the following to go: Salt Lassi Chicken Wrap (Spicy) Chana Bhatura (for Ian) Total with tax came to $16.86. Pros: 2 items, and a drink for the price is not bad at all. (+1) I asked for the Chicken wrap to be spicy. It packed a punch. (+1) Namkeen Lassi was good too. Cons: Not much attention from the person at the register to me. He was conversing with a regular customer (?) while I was trying to decide and give my order. Kind of not cool? The 3 gentleman actually make you food to order and the gentleman with the glasses is making the naan right in front of you and puts it in the tandoori. The food taste AMAZING. I usually get the butter chicken and palak paneer which taste very good and they can make it mild or traditional spicy. They actually made for me Matar Paneer which is not in the menu so the owner told me he is going to have to add that now. The frankies are well loaded with ingredients as well. I looked online for meat samosas and found this grill. I drove 20 minutes to get them and lo and behold in their establishment, a Keema Samosa, non-vegetarian, is a vegetable Samosa. Doesn't make any sense, and was incredibly frustrating as I drove halfway around the bloody world. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell made them non-vegetarian. I had a craving for saag with makki ki roti, and this place definitely hit the spot. The saag had a great mustard greens flavor and was super buttery, and the roti was huge and cooked to a perfect crispness. It would have been nice if it was spicier (it was definitely of the mild variety) but it was still deeply satisfying. We ordered it alongside some samosa chaat that was spicy and delicious.
