    Chicken Tikka Paratha Roll
    Mel T.

Ordered for a 12 PM pick-up via UberEats. Our order wasn't quite ready within the quoted time but it was fine. Seemed like they were having a lunch rush. I was actually in the mood for a philly cheesesteak, which they had, but I figured I should get a paratha since the place is called Parathas and Platters. We ordered lamb over rice, and a chicken tikka paratha roll. Both were good. The lamb does have a little bit of gamey taste but the yogurt sauce helps. The chicken was definitely the better protein. It looked like it would be dry but it was so tender. The roll comes with some green chutney, which had the perfect amount of kick to it. The paratha was not too thick and made for a perfect vehicle for the chicken. Would definitely order again - maybe I'll try the philly next time.

Stumbled into this place and really glad we did! The menu is truly just more than parathas and platters - while most customers that day had the weekend platter special, this place also serves burgers and sandwiches, fries, parathas, and more. Would highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Paratha - super savory paratha with flavorful chicken and sauce.

Another amazing new joint that opened up in Hackensack. The menu is unique, and the flavors are on point. The service was great for a Thursday afternoon, the restaurant was empty & freshly cleaned. The ambiance is updated & very clean. The bonus is that they have free parking in the back, I learned that after paying for metered street parking. Most importantly, the food is delicious. I have tried their Chicken Qeema Paratha Bihari Kabab Paratha, Omelet Paratha, Onion Paratha, Cheese Paratha, and Aloo Paratha. Additionally, I tried their Spicy Chicken Sandwich. All items are flavorful, prepared quickly, and affordable. All paratha orders (not rolls) come with two parathas. And the salad that comes with the parathas pair perfectly with all parathas, a msut-try. I can't wait to be back to try more menu items. Give them a try!

7/8/24 Chapli Kabab over Rice - very good meal. Chicken Wings - crispy, hubby only comment was he thought the sauce would be on the wings not on the side Mango Lassi was ok Plain inside, but just eat and go.

The chicken tikka rice platter was plentiful and so delicious! The price was right as well and it was enough to share. I will definitely return. The bread- naan -was freshly made, and so good! The lady behind the counter was pleasant. The place was very clean and the interior modern. Great take on Indian fast food!

Amazing and affordable platters. We went to the opening day and there were so many people there. The owner is nice and friendly and it's a family owned business which is super cute. I'll come back for sure.

Lemme tell you the portions here are HUGE! I've been eating the brisket kimchi fried rice for 4…read moremeals and still have one portion left. flavor wise the kimchi fried rice was absolutely killer. Super umami with an intense kimchi flavor, the rice itself was a sticker rice as well and thoroughly flavored. The added brisket was rich and extremely tender, i tend not to be a brisket fan but this was a hit! Despite being on the pricey side the huge portion of food makes it reasonable. One note is I got the fresh mango fruit tea and I was not a fan, it was super sour and didn't really taste like tea whatsoever, more like a sour lemonade. Service was super quick, food came out in about 8 minutes piping hot. The inside is rather small but a few dining tables, i'd say it seems more like a takeout place with the front counter set up. But was still a solid dine in experience.

They have a small dining space with 4 tables. It's relatively clean and modern. The menu is posted on the wall and they have self ordering kiosk. We ordered a bunch of items from the menu, starting with popcorn chicken and spring rolls. Both were really good. For entree I had the Bulgogi Gogi (GG1). I was a delicious bowl filled with flavorful bulgogi ribeye beef mixed with lettuce. The beef phuh (pho) was excellent too. The server at the store was friendly. She explained a lot of the menu items to us and patiently punched in all of our items. The dishes came out in short time too. Overall I really liked the food but wish the dining space was better conditioned (wobbly table, old tile on floor, speaker right next to table blasting music)

I was excited to check out this local sports bar in Lodi after seeing all of the positive reviews…read more Honestly, it was a little underwhelming for me. Maybe I just ordered the "wrong things". Either way, my experience didn't live up to the hype. I visited on a late Saturday night. There's a parking lot behind the restaurant. The entrance can be tricky to find... It's located in the back on the left-hand side. The exterior and interior are both pretty dark, dull, and dingy. It's not the most inviting atmosphere at first. It has a divey, industrial, and rustic vibe to it, but hey... sometimes the best food comes from places that don't look like much. So I try not to judge. It wasn't too busy, and the service was attentive. The menu has your classic American comfort food - wings, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. They switch it up with daily specials like skirt steak, chicken parm, and pasta. They have a full bar with cocktails, drafts, bottled beers, can ciders, and wines. You can even do a four-beer flight and make it a tasting experience! I ordered: *Dark & Stormy Cocktail [Goslings Dark Rum, Ginger Beer, Lime Juice] ($14) - Not the best one I've had, but it was solid. If you like ginger and rum, this is a must try. The dark rum has hints of caramel which works really well with the spicy ginger beer. The lime juice adds a citrus kick, so it's a really refreshing drink. *Margarita ($18) - As a tequila girly, I've had my fair share of margaritas. This one didn't do it for me. It was a little too sour/tart, which overpowered everything else. *Cubano Sandwich [includes roast pork, black forest ham, swiss cheese, pickles, mayo, and mustard with side of fries] ($16) - I wasn't expecting an authentic Cubano from an American sports bar, so my expectations weren't super high. This was good, but not great. The pork was flavorful, but could've been more tender. I wish there were more pickles and mayo for that extra tangy crunch. The bread was pressed a little too hard, so it was a bit tough to bite through. *Double Blackened Chicken Breast Sandwich [includes pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, red peppers, and red onion on brioche with side of fries] ($18) - This was huge and filling! They did not skimp out on the protein. The brioche bun was soft and buttery. The chicken was well seasoned - smoky and savory with crispy charred edges. BUT... to my disappointment, the inside was dry and not juicy at all. Another small issue was the ratio - There was so much chicken compared to the rest of the toppings, so it wasn't the most cohesive sandwich. It really needed more cheese and chipotle mayo to tie all the flavors together. The fries were the best part - thick, crispy, and golden! It's decent bar food, just not the best I've had. Nothing was bad, but nothing was great or memorable. For the price, I didn't feel it was worth it. I do appreciate that their food is served piping hot and fresh. To be fair, this is probably the perfect spot for beer lovers. I happen to not be one, lol. The burger options sound popular and promising too. I'd consider giving them another shot for Happy Hour or to try a burger, but it's not at the top of my list. Just because it's not the sports bar for me, doesn't mean it won't be the one for you.
