Amazing Korean fried chicken. You can get the sauce on the side or right on your chicken. I like the soy garlic and the honey butter garlic on the chicken. The service was quick and the staff was helpful. The wings and drums are great with rice. Coleslaw could be better. The waffle fries were great and crispy. The inside feels like a typical casual chicken chain. Overall, cant go wrong with the chicken here.

    The SFC Signature Sandwich. Yum!!

We chose different sauces for our sandwiches- one with honey butter garlic and the other with creamy wasabi.

Well, today was the day. And I was not disappointed. It is a very small location, jampacked with a sensory overload of the amazing food that's being cooked there. Not sure what I should order, I decided to go with the classic: AUSTIN CHO 1.0 (BEST SELLER!) which is simply Beef Brisket, BBQ Sauce, Kimchi, Remoulade on Roll that was accompanied by Kimchi Slaw. I asked @robertaustincho what I should order the next time I visit, and he highly suggested the pork belly and rice. Ordered three things: 1) marinated crabs, small size (5/5). Always a must-get here. 2) ddukbaegi bulgogi (4.5/5) - Thinly sliced prime marinated beef ribeye casserole with rice cake and glass noodle and mushroom served in a sizzling hot pot. Really flavorful and so good to have on a cold day. 3) ahjae ppyo jjim (4.5/5) - Braised prime beef meat bones in soy reduction with carrots, radish, dates, chestnut, rice cake and glass noodles. We got non-spicy. It came in a HUGE bowl. Definitely meant to be shared with a group. Took leftovers home and it was still yummy the next day mixed with knife-cut noodles I had at home.

Side dishes (fresh kimchi, radish, fish cake, and egg) were AMAZING. Had so many refills. Come here!! FOOD: Premium Soy Marinated Crab (9/10) - Insanely sweet and crab sizes are very generous. Mix the rice in the head, you won't be disappointed Soy Marinated Blue Crab (8/10) - Also really good, but crabs are a bit smaller. Still tastes great with the rice Bibingnaeng (8/10) - Really solid cold noodles with beef, pear, and cucumbers? Great way to finish off the meal.

You order at the front and pick up your food when it's ready. It's actually a really convenient system, and since there is no table service, there's no expectation to leave a gratuity. The food itself is consistently good. The parking lot is very, very small and shared with the cafe next door, so parking can be a squeeze. Because it's so popular, it gets very busy during prime dining hours. Even when I've ordered takeout, there can sometimes be a decent wait to get your food so I recommend order online or over the phone ahead. They do charge a little extra if you pay with a credit card to cover the fees. If you visit during the summer months, you absolutely have to try the Naeng Myeon (cold noodle soup) or the Bibim Naeng Myeon (spicy cold noodles). They really hit the spot and are incredibly refreshing. Highly recommend!

They have other options if you don't want soup like Jokbol, pig trotter. I know for most people that's not their cup of tea but a good hearty soup? That's for everyone. TLDR: Definitely go visit if you want some spicy flavorful soup alongside some really tender meat! It's delicious. Food: There is so much flavor packed into the Pork Bone Broth Soup that we were shocked when we tasted it! I couldn't stop drinking it. They give you rice on the side to eat with the soup. It's actually quite a large serving for a decent price. I do think the side dishes could be better, there are only two varieties they serve: Kimchi, Kimchi Horseradish, and Beansprouts. None of them stuck out. The Jokbal is delicious if you like pig trotter. Would not recommend for most eaters unless you want something new. Service: Nothing too crazy about the service. They came back for refills which is great. They were very nice and since it was busy they had to keep moving around. Nothing outstanding but solid work. I do feel with some Korean establishments there is a language barrier but they understand english well enough for foreigners to go. Environment: Newly renovated building gives it a sleek, modern look. It's very nice, seats are fine. Only issue is they had flies here and there that will go after the food. So please be prepared to be on the lookout. It's the primary reason we docked a point. The line was out the door so maybe they came from outside? They definitely need a better system for that though if it's a consistent problem.
