I'm writing this review because of a very disturbing experience with the new property manager here at Parc Medallion Apartments. She made discriminatory remarks towards the Latin community and even threatened to call ICE during a conversation. No tenant should ever be treated that way or made to feel unsafe because of their ethnicity. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable behavior for someone in a management position. I hope the property owners or corporate office take this seriously and address it. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their background. read more

To be honest, from the start the only thing positive about the property was the management - they made me feel very welcome and went out of their way to accommodate while I was away with a few things. I've read some of these reviews and I understand the sentiment of not feeling 100% safe in the area. However, if you review Parc Medallion I feel like the review should be about management. That being said, management has gone out of their way to ensure that any problems or concerns are addressed and taken care of. Big thank you to Ilaria who truly goes out of her way to take care of her residences. My mailbox lock broke and she took time out of her day to wait for the mailman and collect our mail for us. There used to be a noticeable amount of noise at late hours and she took the time to politely ask other residents to be mindful of the volume... please note- SHE DOESN'T EVEN LIVE ON THE PREMISES. So that should speak volumes of the care she puts into the comfort of her residents. She goes the extra mile for her residences and I am sooo grateful for that. Also, management has incorporated extra security measures to address things that other reviews touch upon which has made a huge difference. I moved out and returned my keys to the property management on 12/30/2022 and TO DATE, still have not received my security deposit and a detailed statement as required by CA law. I would give this place ZERO stars if possible. This apartment complex is not the move. I moved in January and the experience has not been great. The pool closes at 4:30 PM every day when people come home from work. There are people selling drugs out of their apartments. There are a lot of junkies walking around at night and to top it off we had a shooting early Monday morning. Don't move here! I'm waiting for my lease to expire and I'm gone. I wrote this review in May and since then things have gotten worse. The management is horrible. I have been overcharged by the laundry services many times, contacted management, and have not heard back. Also, another shooting occurred on 8/12 and someone was killed in their apartment. The management team is aware that the people living in the section, constantly fight, argue, and refuse to take any action. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! read more

The management staff at Parc Medallion have been invaluable to wok with! I assist individuals locate homes and help with them through the move in process. If all management offices were ran the way Tyrone, Lawrence and Jackie run theirs, I'd be out of job! They make he process so easy to understand! Wish we could give 0 stars. This complex is horrible in every way. Ill start with the mess, garbage, dog poo, glass, and random items throughout the property at all times. Tenants are extremely loud and messy with no respect or regard for their neighbors. Management has a lack of accountability for themselves and the tenants. Takes weeks for a work order to be acknowledged. After 2 weeks of living here I put in a 30 day notice. Do not waste your time or money if you are looking for a safe, quiet, or presentable place to live. This company uses "Clean" as one of the first descriptions of its property, which is false advertisement. There are police called to this location constantly but that is welcomed due to the CLEARLY APPEARNT selling and using of drugs with tentants and the company they invite over. This is a horrible represent of what Union City has to offer. The property management team will act as though something will be done to fix these issues, however the madness continues as they are actively raising the price of these apartments as if this is a good acceptable way to live. I doubt their top executives would be interested in residing in a location as such but have no issues collect rent from those who are stuck living here without any other options to leave here. read more

The worst apartment I have ever lived in. I moved out sometime back and can't be enough grateful. The apartment community is trash with shady people living in and a trashy management in office "ILARIA GIL". This lady IRARIA behaves as if she owns the property. Her verbal and written communication is so condescending. She is a total useless and not sure who has hired her. She is a extremely rude person who thinks she is doing a favor to the residents by staying in the office. I am somebody with excellent credit who had to live in this trashy place due to some crisis. Ilaria made my stay worse. She is of no help with any issues. I lost my mail and packages several times because of her. If Ilaria dislikes you she can make your stay miserable. Somebody should complain about her to her seniors. I hope she gets the same terrible experience wherever she lives! read more

This is the best apartment I've ever lived in. Compared to other apartments I've lived in the management here makes an extra effort to be professional, polite, and courteous. There are exciting amenities like a dog park, fitness center, swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, and lots of washers and dryers. Amy's Donuts next door has the best hot pastrami sandwiches. Quik Stop is open 24 hours, and they do have an ATM, do money orders, and have a selection of food items. There is a bus stop right on the corner, and the number 2 bus can take you directly to BART, Food Max, or Walmart. The community is quiet, the people seem happy, my neighbors are nice, and the grounds have beautiful trees and flowers, and the grounds are very well kept and cleaned often. My apartment is beautiful. I just moved in January 15, 2021. I love the walk-in closet, the private patio, the freshly painted walls, the beautiful grey floors, the brand new carpet in the bedroom, the full size bathroom and appliances, the spacious dining and living room. The garbage disposal and dishwasher make my life easier. You cannot beat the weather in the East Bay. I have zero complaints. read more

I am honestly disappointed. When my husband and I first moved in (Aug 2021) we where so excited. We had left a positive review on here I am not sure why all the reviews got deleted. Anyways, I believe there is a new manager now and they have not been the best. He/She recently changed the pools hours to close at 4:30pm.. We called, we've been to the office to see how many signatures will be needed to petition for a change. They literally told us that it does not matter how many people sign, complain or call. That they will not change the hours to accommodate the people who work or even the children. What is the point for having and paying for a pool we are not able to use?? If they don't want the responsibility to clean or maintain the pool then don't charge us for it.. Not only the pool hours is an issue. We've had two incidents where the office gives the wrong apartment number to the maintenance employees.. In one instance the maintenance guy opened the front door, when we did not 1. Call for maintenance 2. Gave permission to walk in when we dont open the door.. When I stopped the employee from opening the door, he told me the front office gave him the wrong apartment # & that he was very sorry. It's NOT the maintenance employee's fault, but the people in the office. Please don't reply to this review with your "thank you for your review. We would love to discuss" .. We already tried and you did not care. DO BETTER & listen to the people who live here.. changing the hours is not something impossible to do, unless the reason is laziness. IF I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS I WOULD! I Agree with Michael A. I've had the same issues! Those images are true! Before you move in I would like to inform that IT IS HARD TO SLEEP AT NIGHT BECAUSE THERE IS A BAR ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THAT WALL IN THE SHOPPING CENTER!!! You hear the music bass, shootings, fights, once the bar is closed they play their loud music in their cars and do burnouts. AND right now they are "remodeling" (they should just tear these apartments and rebuild them from the ground up) they start at 8 am making so much noise. Hammering and banging on the walls outside. They have been redoing my balcony for over a month and they still can't finish.( NOTE:these apartments have no storage space so everything is in my living room ) The laundromat has been close for about 2 months and it was supposed to be a month project. (They took $50 off the rent)what a joke! You can't sleep in the day or night, had to go to an off site laundromat where it's more expensive, Floods, leaks and even carbon monoxide leakage. The management failed me all those times. At the time I had a new born baby and a 1 year old. THEY SAY THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK BUT NEVER WILL YOU RECEIVE A CALL! All they do is IGNORE their residents. Issue #1 During the flood I called maintenance and they helped right away but I mad the decision to leave to a hotel because it happened at 1am so they had to pump the water out, set fans, removed my carpet so the apartment could dry and get rid of the moist to avoid mold( out for 5 day) I tried to contact the property management several times and when I finally reach them they said they were never informed about the incident. I asked if they could prorate they days I was not there and they refused to b/c it was my decision to leave. I asked if she would live in a apartment that was flooded with maintenance workers in there all night working, Fans going with 2 babies?! No, right! I had to reach out to them if not they would have never known. Not an apology or anything l. #2 carbon monoxide leakage, had a carbon monoxide leakage through the heater. Woke up to the smoke detectors that were installed in the wrong place(up high) when they should be place low to detect faster. My children and I were poisoning ourselves until detected. Once PG&E and the Fire department arrived the Carbon Monoxide levels were extremely high. We were taken to the hospital. When we got back all they did was shut off the heat so we were in the cold for over a week until they installed the new heater. They never called to check if we were okay. #3 pipe water leakage in the bathroom from ceiling. Woke up in the middle of the night to dripping noise. Opened my room door my bathroom was completely flooded and the ceiling was about to fall. I schedule with maintenance with permission to entry when I wasn't there to fix the issue. They took over a week and couldn't finish. On my days off I don't like to be bothered especially if I gave them time to finish the repair so i called to change the status to "no entry" and they entered my apartment when I had just gotten out the shower and was in my towel. Not their fault they failed to communicate. I have tried to terminate my lease early because these are unfair living conditions! But they said I would be responsible until my lease is over! Ridiculous! I bet if they were to live like we do it would be an awakening for them! ONCE AGAIN DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! Rent somewhere else!!!
