Paris Baguette seems a lot more like a Japanese bakery than a French bakery in that a great deal of the items are prepackaged and are, well, Japanese (or Italian) and not French, but there are also fresh-baked items and masterful cakes that look like works of art! I went late in the afternoon, and most of the fresh-baked items were sold out. The signage isn't terribly conspicuous for how one selects and purchases items from the freshly-baked items bins, so here's how it works: Grab a tray, grab a piece of try liner paper and place it on the tray, and grab a clean pair of tongs. Remove your chosen items from the bins with your tongs, and place them on your paper-covered tray, and proceed to the front counter to pay. Easy once you find the signage, but this may save you a step. The quality of the items ranged from average to great, with some of the best being the pre-packaged items. Prices are reasonable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. read more

Ever since I heard Paris Baguette was coming to Cedar Hills Crossing, I've been patiently waiting for them to finally open. I recall my memories of eating their pastries in Korea and couldn't wait to experience it in Oregon on a weekly basis. They have a wide variety of food ranging from pastries (croissants, croquette, sandwiches) to desserts (cakes, macarons, roll cakes) and beverages too. I like their seating area as it's wide and spacious to allow large groups of people. The layout flows really well - you can walk in and immediately grab your pastries without needing to run into the seating area. I didn't get to see their entire selection but the biggest surprise was the crabmeat croquette. My sister raved about how good it was and how you can't find it at any other bakery. Their coffee was good but took awhile with the new workers. They seemed to have a greater cake selection and lots of packaged pastries if you're in a quick pinch. My favorite was their turkey sandwich as it was surprisingly fresh and delicious. I definitely want to come back and try more items in the morning while there's more selection. Overall, I think this is a perfect addition to the Cedar Hills Crossing and has a lot of potential as it ramps up. read more

I've been on a croissant kick lately and this is my favorite savory croissant that I've found. The thick cheese layer on top is crunchy and doesn't take away from the texture of the croissant overall. It's flavorful Gruyère and melts perfectly! The croissant also keeps well and tastes fresh after being heated up in the oven. I keep going back for this item, I haven't tried others so can't speak to the rest of the menu. read more

it's a cute place to gather and chill however there are more competitive bakery goods from La Rose or Oyatsupan. we dropped by on a saturday afternoon 12-1pm. The pastries here are very sweet and doesn't stay fresh as I expected. Really wanted to try their mochi donut so I selected the coconut one and was very disappointed. It was too sweet for my preference and the sad part was it was doughy and too soggy. Having tried mochi donuts else where and texture/taste did not seem as sweet or soggy even though they were lilikoi (passion fruit) flavor or coconut with chocolate. Price wise this bakery is even more pricey than 85C and so I had higher expectations. Other than for the vibe and spacious interior, bakery goods unfortunately is not their primary selling point. I did notice other patrons orders bubble tea, smoothies and even their cakes. Over the past few years I've been coming to this bakery every few months or so and I have never quite had such a traumatic experience happen to me before. Honestly I don't think I'll be ever be returning after this experience and I quite frankly don't even know how this is even possible but... I came to your store the other day and I bought myself a box of three pasties. I was running errands with my parents and I didn't look in the box of pastries after I got it packed. Since, it seemed to be fine and like any other experience I had. I had left the box in my car, on a car seat for like an hour or two, and then put it on a chair in my house after I returned home. After having dinner I put the box of pastries on the dinning room table and my dad opened the box and there was a swarm of ants in it. They were all over the pastries and were seeping out the box and my dad was yelling at me and I was thinking like what the heck is happening. I went to check on the chair I put it on before and sure enough there were also so many tiny black ants on the chair too along with some sugar that came from the box. Me and my dad were both crushing ants for like a good 5 minutes. We had never had this happen before....I don't even know the mechanics on how this would even be possible. My dad was telling me afterwards that there were ants coming out of an inner corner of a box when he opened it.... and there was just so many ants!! I was so absolutely disgusted and appalled. We were trying to think back to how this could even be possible and honestly I'm so confused since my family's house and car don't have any ant problems, but when I was in the store I didn't really see any ant issues either. I'm not sure how any of this is possible but it did happen. I didn't take any photos of this happening since it was honestly really gross and I just didn't want to relive it in my camera roll and we were also very busy crushing ants when it got discovered. Like I said before I have been coming to this bakery for the past few years, spaced between every couple of months and I had never had issues like this before. So I really am speechless. I rated a 3 stars since my past experiences have been all good for the most part. It was just this recent experience that was super bad. I do have a copy of my receipt. Here is a photo of that copy, if you do happen to want to refund your girl her money. We had to throw away those pastries, but I have eaten all the ones I gotten in the past before this experience . I ordered a chocolate chiffon cake for my boyfriend's birthday. His favorite cake is chiffon and I have looked all over the Hillsboro/Beaverton area for a bakery that could make one and this was the only one that I found. Their service is outstanding. I originally ordered the blueberry chiffon cake but submitted a ticket request online to get it changed. They got back to me promptly and informed me that a member from the branch that I ordered from will be in contact. They were able to make the change with no issues, wrote happy birthday on the cake holder, put a cute birthday decor on the cake and provided us candles! The pickup process was super easy as well and the workers are all really friendly. The cake was delicious! Light, fluffy and keeps me going back for another bite. One of the new kids on the block at Cedar Hills Crossings, and it doesn't disappoint. Paris Baguette is a popular bakery chain originating from South Korea, so it has some asian influence/flavors mixed with eastern and western baking styles. If you love pastries, it shouldn't disappoint. Location wise, it is pretty easy to spot and get to. It's next to Sharetea and two units down from Crumbl Cookie on the corner, you can't miss it. Plenty of parking around the plaza, but spaces can be tight! If you want to reduce door dings, best find a spot far far away! So I came in around 4pm on a Thursday and it wasn't too busy. All of the trays and tongs were cleaned, and there were plenty of pastries in many varieties. I had the garlic cream mini croissants (basically 6 bite sized pieces for about $5), which were very buttery and of course garlicky goodness. I also tried the crab filled croquette and was pleased with the filling and butteryness. The multigrain cream cheese mini croissants were one of my favorites, and it pairs well with a nice latte or warm coffee. I also picked up an almond croissant with custard and some other items because these pastries make nice to-go treats or gifts! This is a new business in the area with new staff, so it might take time for them to get fully trained and acclimated. You can't expect service and everything to run 100% perfect, so be mindful of this and enjoy the pastry heaven for what it is. Bon appetit read more

After coming to Paris Baguette multiple times since opening (it's just so good), there seems to be something for everyone in terms of pastries and drinks. Korean style breads like soboro (peanut crumble), and castella seems to be prepackaged only along the counter toward checkout and not the main focus. Main selections and variety seems to be available near 11:30 to 12pm daily. There is a small grab and go section of drinks and sandwiches for lunch. A favorite of mine is the lemon cronut and strawberry lemon croissant, can't forget the egg tart. Trying a little bit of everything is my plan! Grab a tray with parchment paper and tongs happens as soon as you walk in with 2 cases of shelves for the goods! The cakes and cups of tiramisu look devine too. You can see the employees baking and making the cakes too. Large drink menu to enjoy or get to go. With being open for less than a week, this bakery is promising. It can get full fast as a majority of the space is long tables for seating and there is one line to checkout. Drinks that are ordered/pastries that are warmed up and called out are along the same line to checkout so it can get confusing to hear if your order is ready as there seems to be little space up front. There could be improvements on organization as each time I went either bins were empty, trays dirty, no labels on items, food vendor not wearing mask properly, breads out in the open (possibly cooling) with no cover, and an employee with long hair not having it up while going back and forth to the main bread display area. It seems that there are standard items on the schedule daily and newer items that get added into the rotation. I'm sure if there is a bread/pastry you're looking for, you can always ask. read more

Our family of 3 ordered a variety of pastries, donuts and sandwiches but our visit was really focused on tasting cakes to potentially order for the kiddo's bday party. Mochi donuts especially coconut flavor was on point. Sandwiches were unremarkable. The cakes were light and not heavily frosted. Really enjoyed the cakes. At check out we specified dine in so we could imbibe on the cakes asap since we were on a mission. Great! Got our tray, drinks and went to get utensils besides a knife to eat with... Lo and behold they ran out of forks. On a Saturday morning. No forks and no mention when we obviously were planning on eating the unboxed cakes on site. Did they want us to just bike the cake slices directly or use our bare hands? When we asked about the forks, they just informed us matter of factly with like a shrug. Kept my positive attitude since this was planned as a fun activity with the kid. Ran over to another nearby business and asked for forks. FFS Paris baguette someone should have resolved this issue but going out and buying forks from a local store or have your employees notify people at checkout there are no forks to encourage them to eat cakes at home. I actually had been here twice. I really really like the egg tart. A bit pricy for egg tarts but taste very fluffy crust. I'm a bit disappointed for this second visit today around 9:30am because I wanted the curry bun. I looked at the signing for curry bun but I end up with a crab bun. I just want the young ladies to at double check the items before placing inside the glass shelves. I am not a fan of any seafood related and also it would be terrible if someone didn't know and bite into it due to allergies reaction to seafood/shell. Also, most of the pastries are not on the floor. Probably in the future just make sure the employees work quickly to put more food on the shelves and check the items before placing on the correct place/section. You pick your pastries and put them on a tray and take it up to the counter and then they box it for you.They have some delicious donuts they have some sandwiches. They have everything that you need. there is a mocha cake that's very light and taste delicious and also some chocolate croissants. Those are very delicious. There's one doughnut there that is really delicious and it's filled with custard. I don't remember the name but I think it's like orange or something like that but that oh my gosh was my favorite. I have no idea how this place has so many good reviews. I love French food and every trip to Portland involves checking out all the new places. I showed up a few minutes before noon with hopes of getting my beloved almond croissant and something chocolate. Almond croissant- well, I think they make them in house, but beyond that, don't have much nice to say. They were flat and dense. The consistency was oddly off. Chocolate- they literally didn't have a non-cheesecake chocolate option. No opera cake, no chocolate dipped croissant... Maybe it's because I was later in the day? I decided to console myself with a Hazelnut coffee, but they didn't have any of that made up either. The people in front of my bought a ton- they clearly loved this place. Lots from the self-service and then a cake from the counter. There were a number of employees in the store, but only one cashier. The transaction took so long that the person who got in line behind me got so frustrated she just left her items on the counter and left. The cashier acted like I was crazy because I didn't want to wait for them to brew a cup of fresh coffee for me, but given that I was in line nearly 5 minutes - I wasn't going to... First step into this new bakery and it's the similar self serve grab n go style you'll find a tour Le jours, 85c degree or Oyatuspan bakers. This Los Angeles transplant offers tasty egg tarts (on the sweet side) matcha lattes, cakes and a variety of sweet rolls and buns. sadly, there were no savory options to be found. No ham cheese no bacon no hotdog bun heck no pork floss varieties but maybe production was wrapping up. The store name Paris baguette got my hopes up. I dreamt of a new banh mi shop with crunchy airy bread stacked grilled meat pickled veg , cucumber slice and fresh made aioli and pâté. Well that was short lived since Paris baguette is more of a sweet pastry shop than a bread shop (ie ... grand central, st honore, bread sections at Whole Foods Fred Meyer or Safeway). New Korean bakery in Cedar Hills. This area is getting quite busy/crowded with popular franchises. It's similar to Tours Les Jour, but features more croissant-based goods, at least when I was there. I'm sure selection varies daily. They just opened, so it was pretty busy, and had several empty spots in the case. You pick up a tray and tongs and get what you want. The line for the register was REALLY slow, and some staff did not know what the items were, so they didn't know how to ring them up and had to ask someone else. I understand that they might still be training, but you would think/hope that would be part of the basic knowledge, or they could at least have cheat sheets with names and pictures. Garlic croissants: cute box of 6. I liked how they were garlicky, but also a little sweet. Tiramisu donut: yummy cream They also have a refrigerated case with prepared sandwiches and whole/by-the -slice cakes. If you care about excessive packaging/waste, there is a lot of that here if you get it to-go. Our cashier put each item in its own plastic bag and then all in a paper box. It looks like from others' pictures, they just used the box (no individual plastic bags), so that's good. Overall, high quality goods, but kind of spendy. read more

Clean, busy, and a variety of pastries! I think I might like Paris Baguette over Tous Les Jour. I tried a crab croquette bread, matcha mochi donut, and a cold brew coffee. The mochi donut was a little too soft and soggy - no crisp donut exterior - but it was properly chewy and had a nice matcha rich topping that wasn't too sweet. I'd say it was better than Mochinut across the street, despite being soggy! Crab croquette was a standard fry bread - good in the right mood. Cold brew hit the spot with a nice cocoa aftertaste. The also do creams on top similar to the Starbucks drinks as well as some good looking sandwiches. Will be back! read more

Many bins were empty when I went around lunch time and a number had no label so I had to guess what they were. Some of the items looked and felt stale to be honest. The texture of some of the savory breads, as well as the cake, felt like there was too much leavening agent or freezer burn so it was dry and plasticky. The cashier was super nice and friendly, props for that. They could add a stanchion or some "wait here" signage because as I was still paying, another customer came up and started putting their things on the counter in front of me. There was a lot of selection, unfortunately mochi donuts were sold out but I was surprised that was even an option. This shopping center is turnout to be a caloric mindfield, which is good for my tastebuds but bad for the waistline. Today we decided to try the newest addition to the area. I had been in here numerous times, as it is next to my Pilates Studio and I found the presentation of all the pasteries and cakes so appezitizing I enjoyed looking just as others might enjoy eating. Today I finally gave into the tempation. We got 4 pasteries, and coffee. I was suprised by how light everything was. Our top two was the curry croquette and the crab croquette. I love coming here! I always discover something new and today I decided to try a savory treat and it was just as good as their sweet ones. I love bringing my girlfriends here with me to have coffee for afternoon and just enjoy each other's company it's so clean, welcoming and nice and cool, especially during the summer. This is a knock off of Tous les Jours. TLJ is better, but that is bc PB seems new and disorganized. The trays were all dirty. There were NO tongs, and you papered your own tray, meaning all the papers get touched. The tables all needed wiping. With new management, this place could be good, but since it's so close, I would just go to Tous les Jours! read more

I'm quite a regular here but why not 5 stars here's my honest review. Really like how airy the seatings are late morning. Had a meeting at big table by the window was so comfortable. Minus star for not accommodating latte in ceramic mug. Why do you ask "for here or to go" when you don't plate pastry on plate or hot drink in mug? Trash trash trash go to landfill unnecessary. Not to mention food and drink don't taste the same in plastic containers. Want to be upscale bakery then please be one. Despite their specialties like croissants aren't the best. Next time I will ask them to warm up in oven to see if I change my mind. The ingredients aren't quite there and that's why they are not crisp and tasty.
